They cooked so hard with this. The perfect display of physical grandeur, mixed with godlike divinity. The start especially sticks out and that riff is so memorable without being in any way complicated. Leitmotifs are powerful tools indeed

As much grievences I had when fighting this boss (Goddamn triple phase...) I really loved the bosses' design and the vibe of the arena too.

Wonder if I'm reading into this the wrong way, but prior to Malenia's arrival in Caelid, with the lore we have now and whatnot-- I wonder what Miquella promised Radahn in the Vow. Since the ending has him mention "Our part of the vow." ("Our" seeming to refer to both Miquella and Malenia, imo) Either way, this song goes crazy hard, and I loved it in the fight.

My first time fighting this boss, i was in complete awe. I was blocking for like 10 mins during his second phase just watching dancing lion and enjoying this god like theme

Clever Fromsoft clever the whole time the music that played in one of the trailers turned out to be the music that plays in the second phase of Miquella's boss fight (on radahn's back ala twin princes from DS3) and no one knew till it finally plays during the fight proper. Now this is a MAJOR hot take I'm sure but while it was awesome to see Elden Ring harbor in new fans to Fromsot's games more recognition is always deserving for Fromsoft and these games I say but....that being said those same people are the most annoying bunch I've ever seen. All them really mad cuz the DLC was harder,to them some mobs and bosses were "unfair",etc when us that have played their previous games KNOW for a fact it was indeed gonna be harder than the main game that's Fromsoft's MO whenever they make a new game they LITERALLY live by their own "Now some of the bosses and mobs in the main game are challenging as is....but how can we make the DLC HARDER" rule/mindset and we warned some folks it was gonna be but of course they still refused to listen. Then that's not even getting into those same people that refuse to believe Miquella ended up being the true "villain" in the grand scheme of things when.... again Fromsoft have pulled that stunt before as well. Perfect example Gael from DS3 he started out as a random npc/sus looking old dude but quickly became a liked character cuz he helps you out in the Ashes of Ariandel DLC....only for the DLC that followed revealed he went down the slippery slope of sanity all cuz he was trying to get the necessary ingredient for him to create a new/better world but in order to do so knowing full well he wouldn't survive fought the ashen one (our player character in DS3). Also no offense we kinda figured Miquella was gonna end up being the greater scope villain cuz it's VERY rare in these games for there to be a happy ending (aside from Ranni's ending as of now being said RARE case of there being a actual happy ending)

Idk the lore of this demon flower but the music and the way it looks after it explodes and collapses it makes it feel like a tragic boss fight

Even tho the 2nd phase is very poorly designed and the lore is disappointing, judging the track alone - it's a damn banger, so much instrumentation and shit going on, it really embodies a final glorious fight, sounds so damn surreal

I just have to turn the volume up when phase to starts, and than progress it to the max until it ends, the feeling of climbing is amazing. It feels like we are dancing into the heavens. How fitting.

Lightning/Ice/Flying/Dark

the two realest homies of the dlc: igon and ansbach and maybe freyja and moore close to homie status too.

The only boss who will make u dancing instead of fighting

Mongrel intruder

This and the final boss single handedly gave me the most shit.

I beat Midra only with parries. It would be cool if he was invulnerable to normal attacks like the enemies in the forest in front of his estate. A boss that can only be overcome by parrying - difficult, interesting, original idea.

Probably the worst boss fight in the game. Horrible design and moves. Standing there for 12 seconds waiting for her to land isn't very fun gameplay

his design looks like orphan of kos yes, but the three brass notes in the beginning of phase 2 also are mirroring the orphan of kos's theme

Divine Beast Dancing Camera

I really enjoyed it, I even felt a tingle in my body, very nostalgic. kudos and respect especially to the opera

The music and Ansbach's intro lines were the only part I liked about this fight and ending. I got so sick of the fight I skipped right past getting angry at it and just numbly kept dying. This is the only fight in all of Elden Ring and DLC I summoned other players for help, and even then it took 10 tries. All to be rewarded with 3 lines of dialogue as an ending. Needless to say my opinion of the DLC has been soured from this single fight. OST's still good, thanks for uploading it.

I was like, "woah!!! cool dark area with pretty shiny liquid and dark trees and sun flowers... oh!!! a boss!!! Oh shit that's a giant murderous sunflower, that's cool as fuck! That seemed really eas- ah, of course." And then the phase 3 happened and I went :( The finishing blow landed, the creature felled, and then the area just... dark, lifeless. All that shine, gone. Did a bigger *:(* God that final phase music is so gut wrenching to me.

This was a Kingdom Hearts boss and I loved it

See them dance See them attack See them do both at the same time in their act I was the audience admiring their performance while at the same time i was part of the spectacle as an actor forced to dance alongside their attacks, best boss in the dlc

This would be my favorite dragon fight in all Fromsoft games IF it weren't for the absolutely shit camera. I swear, it's the true boss and Bayle is just its minion.

The only boss in the dlc to have 3 phases... Wow. Also, some parts remind me of the repetitive part in Lady Butterfly's first phase.
