@@Musicalobsessed16 oh I know I’m just really curious how they make the fake slap sounds like is someone clapping their hands to make it sound like a slap?
Actually, I just added the slapping effects. They were not included in the original footage. Since I enjoy hearing different slap fx, I decided to just give it the treatment.
I really hope Ariana and Cynthia take inspiration from this production.... their vocals and the acting.... omg the 2nd act is something I'm more excited for than the first
We have no idea if there will be new songs yet. The only “new”song that should this time be on the soundtrack will be Nessa’s song. I do agree that they should add 2-3 new songs but maybe a solo song for Fiyero and one with Baq and an ensemble of Munchkin Land citizens after Nessa takes over a mayor. Those are my ideas. Oh they could even expand Kill the Witch to make it longer and add more characters to sing in it.
Willemijn was the best Elphaba, in voice and character. Her voice alone is an incredible instrument. The clear notes, no shrill pitches, and she made it all look effortless.
@@ethandoyle4978 Well duh. Two women bitch slapping each other is _always_ funny. Just like two men putting each other in choke holds. It doesn't accomplish anything, but it's funny as shit.
Wicked is definitely one of the best if not the GREATEST musicals to ever grace the stage by taking the story of The Wizard of Oz and turning it into Broadway gold, and it will always hold a special and unique place in our theater-loving hearts. I Have not seen the broadway Musical nor the new movie but that Green dude with a gun REALLY pissed me off. Like I wanted to see two witches facing off, Not some dude with a gun😓

If the movie doesn't have Fiero come swinging in on a vine in the middle of a corn field, I would be massively disappointed.
It probably won’t in this one cause the movie is only act 1
@@thebloodmoonwarriorI think their referring to the second part

Yesss!
Now they'd rather Glenda and elphaba be homsexual maniacs who are sTrOnG and iNdEpEnDeNt.
Movie was good tho
I mean, it's already filmed... but yes, I hope they stayed true to the play
They'll be replacing the dialogue with a song. This whole scene will be a song in Part 2.

Willemijn really brought the wicked witch element to Elphaba more than others I think.
Love Willemijn's little squeak at the end of the cackle!
definitely. she adds that tiny bit of sarcasm and makes her seem more real. BEST ELPHABA!
Yeah I like her the most because she actually seems believable as the Oz character. It’s the same reason I love Chenoweth as Glinda.

I just know that it’s going to be more anguish
I hope the movie turns this into a Dragonball Z fight with them flying around, shooting spells, and just fucking shit up.
