Layers Of Fear Any% SPEEDRUN TUTORIAL | Part. 2

Part. 2 is finally here! This time covering the last part of the run, with many new mechanics we didn't see in Part. 1. This video will be followed by an extra one where I will cover all the new strats, because some of the ones I talk about here and in Part. 1 are not relevant anymore.

Important note... It's crucial that you wait a few seconds everytime you return to the checkerboard, to trigger all the animations and stuff correctly. Else the strats in this video might not work very well. Also I figured out that on the last checker its fail proofe when you stay on the opposite site of where the painting appears with ur back to the board. When the light turns on your safe to turn and the painting will be there.

I'm not sure what you mean... I never had to wait in this part of Witness, as soon as I grab a piece I run back to the table and the triggers work
EDIT: I just saw what happened in your 35:40 run, I think it all depends on your positionning when the animation ends (which means when the room's light turns itself back on after the piece fly on the table). For the kitchen, I think you were too much on the right, and for the painting, too close to the table. Also, very swift mouse movements often help activating the triggers, like we want to rush the game till it gives us what we want. I'm sure you'll get it in a few runs, soon the sub 35!

@@KaweedFul actually way sooner than I thought :). Have a look on the leaderboard ;). I found kinda my own strats now for witness 2. Not so fast but reliable!

There won't be any LoF 2 tutorial from me though, cause I didn't run the game enough to know all of the strats, and also college is restarting soon for me so I'll stay off TH-cam, Twitch and src for a couple of months... Part.3 of LoF tutorial hopefully coming soon though

J'ai toujours pas compris , comment tu peut savoir quel code tu va avoir en regardant la feuille en vitesse , c'est pareil pour le split Canvas je sais jamais quel code mettre ! Ce serait sympa de m'aider la dessus :D

Alors pour le cadenas de l'acte 5, pour savoir quel code il faut entrer entre 341, 259 et 687, normalement il faut cliquer sur le dessin et résoudre le puzzle : selon l'animal qui est dessiné, on doit trouver les 3 chiffres correspondant. Mais comme ces codes ne changent jamais, il suffit de connaître quel numéro appartient à quel animal, et le tour est joué ! Du coup, pour connaître le code sans même cliquer sur le dessin, il suffit de le regarder de loin et de voir quel animal y figure ! (normalement ça se voit d'assez loin)
Et pour le premier cadenas au tout début du jeu, tu peux te référer à la première partie de mon tuto. En fait il y a trois tableaux dans le coin au fond à droite de la pièce, au dessus d'un chandelier. Normalement, il faut allumer le chandelier pour voir chaque chiffre correspondant à chaque tableau apparaître. Mais nous, on sait que les trois tableaux montrent toujours le même chiffre (l'homme au chapeau le 4, le bébé le 5 et le plus sombre le 8), mais que les trois tableaux changent de place aléatoirement entre 3 codes possibles (de gauche à droite) : 485, 854 et 548 ! Du coup, en entrant dans la salle du coffre, on sait au premier coup d'œil quel code on doit taper en regardant le premier tableau en partant de la gauche
