Love them all, but would take the Doxa first
I would have to pick the Squale for two reasons. Squale’s individual history of divers and their connection with Blancpain. The second reason is purely aesthetic. I just prefer the look of it! Another great video.

Great comparo! Love all of them, but think I'm most attracted to the Doxa or the Seiko. Honestly, if the Seiko has some splashes of orange like the Doxa, it would be the hands down winner for me.
Love love love that Seiko! Kicking myself for not grabbing one the last time they went on sale in my area. Next time for sure.
Thanks for doing this roundup. I love Doxa's style, though I do wish they had better lume. The 300 definitely wears small, so I recommend trying one on if possible. I prefer the 300T slightly more. I could wear the 1500T if I really wanted (7.25" wrist), but my buddy with ~7.6" wrist definitely wears it perfectly. Those are built like freaking tanks. I also really am attracted to the blue Doxas (both blues). I want one some day, but I'm just trying to figure out how to work in so the other watches I want allow it to get some good wrist time. For anybody wondering, the Seiko wears really nicely on wrist. Very thin (for a Seiko). I think that is a top release from Seiko in the last year.
nice to see these all in same black dial for your side-by-side comparo! I always think of the DOXA in ORANGE dial and the Squale dial in that carribbean blue colour

Squale has adjustment screws on the bezel to tighten the bezel action.
no it doesn't, please don't try to tighten these screws, you will break them and you'll have to change the whole bezel. The screws are for disassembling the bezel

Just picked up a Squale 1521 Militaire and absolutely love it. The esthetics and the history with Blancpain and I also believe Squale designed cases for Doxa as well at one point, so a ton of horology heritage in the brand
Why cant Doxa get their Lume right ? Such a nice watch. They just need to spring for a better Lume.
The Seiko is absolutely beautiful and the squale as well not a fan of that box dome sapphire on the Doxa and the bezel looks difficult to turn
The Doxa and Squale takes the cake imo. Real heritage and used by serious divers. Zodiac is also a good one but I think if youre going to get a Zodiac get a coloured Sea Wolf Compressor. The skin is a good model but they should do a coloured one with plexiglass or alum bezel to make it look more vintage.
The other only thing with the Doxa is its lume is very weak compared to Seiko and Squale. That is a big minus for me imo. So overall winner is Squale. I just wish it had bigger indices, the indices really look too small.

The Doxa Sub 200 is nice if you want a smaller watch and comes in a lot of colors
I bought a Doxa sub 300 carbon as I wanted something really different compared to my GMT Master II. It's been great and is a conversation starter with other watch aficionados. People either love it or hate it and scoff at the price. Of course your watches should only matter to you...and maybe your wife.
All fantastic.. my only question is apart from the Seiko and Doxa, are the zodiac and Squale ISO certified divers?

@@flow2tech I just bought a Marathon TSAR and I almost pulled the trigger on a spb143. I think I’ll eventually get one I had a look alike San Martin 62mas a few years ago and it was really good. But turns out homages aren’t for me.
@@MrBacchus18 Ya homages aren't for me either..I find you're always left wanting the real deal..I got the uncle Seiko jubilee for the 143 and just compliments that vintage vibe so well
For me interesting is that the only watch that has no orange in it is the seiko. Every other model has the use of orange in any form.. Of course Doxa use it the most while its their signature colour and the most legible like they say.
For me the coolest is the Doxa 🤿
