Best trespassing story I saw on here recorded as it happened. Tired of trespassers. The guy had people fishing in his pond all the time. He put up signs that said the area was contaminated. He picked up a set of cheap disposable coveralls and respirator walked up to a couple of people fishing in the pond with the coveralls and respirator on and asked them if they had seen the signs and proceeded to tell them all of their gear and clothing was contaminated and would have to be left where it was and that they could wear their clothes until they got to their cars. Then to remove the clothing , drive home naked it should keep the car from being contaminated then take a shower for at least half an hour. It was funny how scared the people were.
I had a cop's son causing me problems. I was dating his ex-wife, she had a restraining order against him he was constantly violating. He'd force his way into her house if she was home, he'd break in when she wasn't. Cops wouldn't do anything. Finally he fucked up, he left a threatening note on her door saying "I saw you with him, I know where he lives." I called the precinct and said "this is about Officer Murphy's son again. You've ignored our complaints. He's now left a note threatening my safety. The note is in the hands of my lawyer, and if I see this on her property or mine, I will be armed and I will treat him as a threat. Tell Officer Murphy if he wants to protect his son, stop ignoring his law breaking and tell him to stay away." Never saw the guy again. Unfortunately I didn't have a good enough excuse to use bear traps, lol.
I have waist length hair and I can’t stand sitting on it, but, THIS, THIS. Throwing it over a chair/seat, using your hair to violate someone’s space!?!? How horribly rude. Ponytail holders, hair clips, Bobby pins!?!? I, seldom, travel with my hair down, because it’s irritating to deal with in these situations. She’s lucky it was just bubble gum. 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️😂😂
Now that I think of it, that dumb broad was pretty trusting of the general population. A truly imaginative fellow passenger might have come up with something truly horrible - like dumping ink or hard liquor or who knows what on that long hair - starting up close to the scalp. Re the bubble gum - a childless friend of ours told my 4 yr. old daughter that he stored his gum behind his ear when he was done with it. You guessed it - I ended up cutting a 6 inch long chunk of hair out from behind her little ear. Our friend didn't hear the end of that one for a while. (I also had to train him not to hide peas under the edge of his plate when he had dinner with us.)
Hair past my butt here, and those As Seen On TV Spin Pins absolutely save my life in any pinch!! But if I'm so desperate that my only option would be grossing out people around me, I do have the ability to tie it in a few different types of knots that will hold themselves in place. There's no excuse for this woman's behavior!! 😳
Story 3, the fact that she refused to listen to her husband that also worked there and thought she could park wherever she wanted definitely speakers on how entitled she is. Love how even her husband said she deserved it and I wouldn't be surprised if she was pissed that no one sided with her. I don't see how anyone can be married to someone who thinks they can be so entitled.
For those who have problems with trespassers, it may be of interest to you that there are such things as PAINTBALL landmines and claymores. They spray water-soluble paint, powered by those little CO2 powerlets. You're Welcome.
Lady with long hair on airplane: there are literally scores of ways to do long hair so that you are not sitting on it nor have a lump in the nape of your neck. Her vanity and entitlement got her a well-justified AH reward.
Yeah, as someone who has *very* long hair that likes to get *everywhere* I always keep my hair in a ponytail or a braid if I am going somewhere where space is gonna be tight or there is a risk of it getting caught or in the way. I have had way too many occasions where someone has yanked it or it has gotten tangled because it was loose that I am a bit paranoid about it. The only reason I don't cut it shorter though is that the shorter it is the more uncontrollable and untamable it is. Basically its own weight keeps it under control. 😅
I neither know nor care how long her hair was (before the bubble gum attack), but she could have just flipped it over one shoulder and even laid it in her lap if it was that long. She's just a spoiled bully who's used to forcing her way on other people. This might cause her to rethink that.
Story 4: I am glad that the dog was not severely injured. I am also peeved that YOU had to pay the vet bills, because the dog had no business being on your property. Time to put up a permanent fence, one that he can not penetrate. It is none of his business if YOU put up a fence on YOUR property.
There's a textbook law school case on this that's nicknamed the shotgun booby trap. You can't booby trap your property to deal with known thieves/trespassers, and are liable for the damages. Maybe the warning signs and plausible presence of bears would get around this but it seems shady to me. The guy got lucky
@@syrusorelio2309 because human lives/health are more valuable than property. And in some of these cases you know you're likely to injure/kill someone. I admit I don't know if the extensive warning signs would make a difference, and if the "I was worried about bears" argument doesn't hold water the owner could argue they were trying to deter the trespasser from entering, not expecting them to do so and get injured. The case I mentioned has a few key differences: no warnings of any kind plus a clear booby trap (a shotgun rigged to go off when someone opened a closet door) that has no legitimate purpose other than to create a hazard. IANAL by the way
Story 5: The guy was damn lucky that OP or Grandpa didn't answer the door with a shotgun. As a corrections officer he was threatening harm & could have been legally shot/killed.
Story 4: I am confused by the implication that the guy couldn’t put up a fence because the neighbor didn’t agree? Put a fence on your side of the property line and who cares what the neighbor thinks!
On this side of the world, all fences are right on the property line, and there is case law which pretty firmly establishes who has to pay what, when and how much, and also when it's appropriate to force a fence to be rebuilt. As far as payment is concerned, it's directly linked to how much of the fence line you share with a neighbour, which means you pay exactly half and your neighbour pays exactly half if the fence only borders your two properties. Fence size and allowable styles are both regulated by local government rules.
@@melkiorwiseman5234 or if you don't want to deal with the neighbor you could have it built 6 inches to a foot on your side of the property line and they have no say so 😉
This assumes OP would be willing to pay the entire amount to build the fence. Presumably he did not hence why the fence was not built and signs were put up instead. Even if the fence is on his property it still has to follow the rules and it may become an expensive affair if the neighbor starts complaining about it's construction.
Story 5: And all of this happened because his were being neglectful of his dog. Honestly, he needs therapy and get that temper sorted out, because he's causing everyone's problems with that.
2nd story As the wise Sun Tzu once said, _"treat your soldiers as you would your own beloved sons and they will follow you into the deepest valley."_ Managers if you want employees to bust their asses for you, you will need to give them the care and support they need and deserve before expecting anything from them.
True. Years back I worked in a manufacturing setting and our supervisor quit and was not replaced. It was a small team and I gradually took on a few more responsiblities, one of which involved knowledge of jobs starting in the pipeline and coordinating with other teams before ours, the final assembly and shipping station. I began to notice that my colleagues were starting to defer to me because I always kept them in the loop as to any major jobs coming through and did my damnest to jump in and assist them when things got busy. They'd approach me with problems and I had no problem bringing concerns (like why the f*k are we bringing in our own tools to do our jobs?) to management. I became their supervisor by their consent because I was there for them. I quit the first time due to the one witch on the team (her outburst to me was epic and witnessed by everyone) and I was called back to meet with the big boss and my manager. Big boss told her to immediately make me the supervisor in that department (he'd talked to my co-workers). That didn't happen for many months until we were all called in to the manager's office and she officially told them that I was their new supervisor. They all sort of laughed, and one older guy said, " You know he's been doing that job for over a year, now." The only one not happy was the witch, and I quit the second and final time because I wasn't supported in reporting her attutude which just got worse. She was a "lifer" of the worst sort. But the guys gave me the great gift of trust in my leadership because they knew I cared about them, wouldn't ask them to do anything I wouldn't, and never, ever, threw anyone under the bus. The witch is still there and making people's lives miserable from what I've heard, and it's small wonder that the employees are coming and going like they're in a revolving door that could be harnessed to generate electricity.
Story 2: Sometimes, the power goes into their head, and sometimes, they were always like that but used a facade. Either way, no establishment wants that sort of person in power.
Except the government on all levels. She would be the type of person to pass her probationary period, usually 90 days for most positions, then when she became permanent, unless her true persona, and would be impossible to fire. Almost.
Hairplane story: I guess she was so uneducated as to have never heard of a BRAID and have it set to one side. Hmmm, maybe she learned? Doubtful. Bear trap story: OP, since you did have a lawyer you should have had him research the laws on putting up a fence, getting a survey, then fencing your property with hidden cameras to monitor activity. Then press charges (call the STATE POLICE) and also sue him for any damages done to fencing and signs. Daddy can only protect him so much. And police chiefs have bosses too! Corrections officer story: Wow! This jerk needed to be on the other side of his job!
My hair? I tie it in a pony than wrap it around the elastic where it holds my hair and clamp it with a clip. Gets it off my neck...I got alot of hair. Lmao
The last story was the one you should have led with. Did that guy honestly think he was going to get an hour's worth of work for FREE? Cheap wasn't the word for him.
When it's that long it can really give you a headache. But like Fluff said, tossing it over your shoulder is an option. That said, you don't want your hair to pick dirt from everywhere. I wouldn't like my hair getting into someone's drink, she's lucky it was just water.
@@riel4553 my hair is down past my butt, when i had to cut my hair short once i got headaches because all the weight of it was gone. i can sit on my hair and never get a headache. if sitting on her hair gives her a headache she needs to cut it. she 100% was doing this for attention, flinging hair that long into the air and over the back of the seat was a "look at me" move and nothing else.
@@satansecretary665 She was absolutely doing it for attention. It amazes me how bold people can be, throwing her hair that she probably likes a lot, at the face of someone that could easily wreck it.
Should have taken the remaining possessions back to the warehouse and stored them. Then charge the guy storage and an hourly rate for redelivery. Once he signed the freight bill that the job was completed the stuff on the truck technically wasn't his property any longer.
Story #4, I don't care who someone's parent is, my property is my property, I would've put up cameras, and then call the cops every time he stepped foot on the property.
Story 1: I used to have very long hair (down to my hips) and also had friends with long hair. Putting your hair over your shoulder is a good way to keep from sitting on it. Tying it up can give you a headache sometimes. Hair is a LOT heavier than you think when it gets long like that Story 2: Seniority does not mean better for the job Story 3: Good on Mike and his crew for coming up with that Story 4: I was so worried until the dog was okay. Kid learned his action had consequences that day when daddy couldn't protect him Story 5: Correctional officers, police officers, doctors, nurses and priests. All are careers that interest people with either a genuinely good heart, or abusive assholes who only want to have power over people. Story 6: that man was an idiot. Just pay for the full service.
Story 1: We need to remember that our hair is made of the same material as our nails and the weight of thousands of keratin strands can add up. It takes a literal good head on the shoulders to have long hair. Story 5: Megalomania is a crimson red flag.
Story 5: yeah, I used to work in healthcare and my ex-wife is a nurse. I've met more narcissists in that field than anywhere else. My ex-wife also turned out to be one as well. It was an industrial oil spill of a messy breakup/divorce.
Story 2: Management is not ordering people around but to help and manage the company along with doing the grunt work with everyone else. Any manager who fails to lift a finger helping the staff is already a bad worker in my eyes.
Depends on the size of the team and the work. Once you get past ten or so people in the team, it's entirely possible the manager is busy full time just keeping the crap away from his team. If he's managing a site (e.g. a shop), that point can be reached earlier. A good manager will be there, but he'll be usually not working but deal with all the problems that turn up, arranging for enough inventory to be there, making schedules, etc. If you try to use the manager as another worker, you're either very small or understaffed or both.
@@calamity0.o That might be a case of being understaffed. The problem is, the manager is the guy who gets the blame when the location looks like crap or if the lines are getting too long. Also, I said usually - it's possible he saw the need and decided that there was a need and nobody available to do it so he did it himself. I also think he was a rather good manager - not ordering people to do stuff he was not willing to do himself and helping out to keep the store running smoothly. The number I was quoting also was for an office job, e.g. software development. If you have a dedicated team manager, he might start to get swamped once you move past about 15 people and the quality might drop unless most people on the team are fairly self-managing (or he forms sub-teams).
As a former CO, most have anger issues. There really isn't any way to deal with PTSD in a healthy way. No counseling. You even get shamed for admitting you have it.
@@kranberry3318 Yes. I've dealt with numerous suicide attempts, 2 dead bodies, a hostage situation, and a pair of assaults that left a heck of an injury, one on me, and another on an inmate. To make it worse, I have a genetic defect that makes the smell of citrus and blood be received as a taste, so every time I've had to deal with bleeding inmates or a suicide/self destructive manipulation I could taste the blood, both when dealing with the injured, as well as when packing property. Then you have the sheer emotional trauma you experience. One of the things I can't keep out of my head is an alcoholic who doesn't trust himself to be free. He says guilt will make him drink, and he'll end up drunk driving again. Guy relived his life all day everyday, up till the point his bad decisions left a car load of teens dead. I realized that when we had the same conversation, word for word, over 5 years apart, only changing the type of soda I was drinking on the rec yard.
Shame is quite unproductive in most cases. I wish you all didn't have to deal with that, it just leads to more (self-)destructive ways, like with that alcoholic you mentioned. I can definitely relate to a lot of that. My dad's been physical abusive since I was a toddler and I've been diagnosed with CPTSD, which I'd bet a lot of officers have. It's just a shame it's taught to a lot of people that ways trauma can present in people's behaviour and body language is supposedly 'suspicious'. Or the prevailing belief that admitting you've got some issues makes you weak in general. Better mental health awareness would be good for everyone.
I’m going to be real, even if the dog in the bear trap story got more injured, I’m not sure the guy deserves pity. He purposefully trespassed over and over, tore the signs down, and then ignored the new ones. He fucked around and he found out.
Story Five: Him: "You made me lose my dog!" Me: "No, stupid person. That is not correct. YOU made you lose your dog by committing the crime of animal neglect."
Story 5: sometimes the nuclear route is the only viable one... some people deserve to have their lives completely destroyed. The dog situation alone should've earned him a lifetime in jail, or worse.
Story 2 - I know $15,000 to $20,000 isn't a lot for major corporations, but that IS a large amount for a small store, and should've gotten Lauren in DEEP trouble by itself. The tirade was probably just the final straw.
1) so much entitlement, hope she enjoys getting the gum out of her hair. 2) Glad that awful person got her comeuppance and the store got a good manager. 3) How lovely that it turned out this way. 4) I'm glad the dog was not hurt badly and that trespasser was maid to pay and stayed away in future. 5) Wow, such horrible neighbors to do this to a dog and to retaliate like this. I'm glad OP recorded the threats, and all the vandalism and police reports were shared so this guy got fired and lost his house. So nice there are now nice neighbors. 6) So nice the AH got what he deserved.
Yeah I gotta agree that the guy who was a correctional officer got lucky. If he had started threatening me or the wellbeing of those in my family, chances are I would have been more than willing to introduce him to the local gator population over here where I live.
I saw a tictok recently with the image of a woman's long hair extending so far downward behind her seat the photographer couldn't see his screens. Some person commented that this had to be made up because people don't act like this. Oh, sweet summer child.
They really need to have body cams sometimes on these jobs that are unsupervised. So they can't cry and say that they were cheated or anything out of the time moving whatever.
I learn the hard way when I was a kid and kept tossing my hair on a bus for special needs students. The kid behind me started playing with my hair so the bus aide told me he wouldnt be playing with my hair if it wasnt near him. I perfer hair up or short now.
As a former warehouse manager, I loved the forklift story! We often had to tell certain entitled employees to stop parking their cars in front of the shipping containers (in very clearly marked 'no parking' zones) where we kept 'overflow' materials that were used in emergency situations, but had to still be checked every once in a while. SO many times we wanted to use the forklifts to lift the cars up on top of the containers, or even inside them and lock the doors.
Story 2: In my experience working retail, a lot of bad managers/ team leads were never great employees. They were good at sucking up to the higher ups and making it look like they were doing a lot. (Usually by taking on a lot of projects management wanted done and then getting their co-workers to help them out.) Basically, the biggest sycophants get promotions and become the worst managers.
I love the Mike story. An okay Director that didn't throw Mike under the bus. Just okay, though, not awesome. But "Mike will make it disappear" is the best gem of the story 😄
I worked security at a hotel that had a bar that was busy on the weekends. A correction officer regularly caused problems at the bar. One night the bar manager tried to kick him out and the correction office punched giving him a black eye. Every time the police were called he'd flash his badge and the cops would let him go. The first night I worked the weekend I encountered the correction office and he put hands on me. I informed him if he touched me again he'd regret it. When he tried to grab my shirt I grabbed hes wrist and put him in an arm lock. I instructed the bar manager to contact the Highway Patrol and explain the lack of help from local police. Highway Patrol arrived, heard our side and then charged the officer with disorderly conduct. He wasn't arrested but it was enough for a no trespass order. I never saw him again.
notice in story 2 they had all that evidence with the area manager yet nothing was done until the guy found out HE was the one being insulted thats how people like that manager get into power in the first place the area manager didnt care until it became about him
Two types of people i don't feel sorry for. Entitled people who get payback & people who don't press charges on karens. The bear trap story was a perfect way to get back at a smug, rude neighbor & i only wish it was his leg, not the dogs tail that got caught in the bear trap. If you ignore signs or destroy them, you deserve what you get.
One thing I find confusing about Story 4 is why the guy had to pay the vet bills for the dog. I'm assuming it probably had something to do with the accusation that the dog was deliberately being targeted, but even then, the dog had no business being on the property and there were warning signs (dogs can read, but the owners normally can).
Probably the judge declared it so, simply for the small amount which could easily be taken from the larger amount. But ti being a small borach that would help stem further issues down the line.
Story 1 was brilliant 😂 as someone who used to have hair down to my waist, can confirm that tying it up was extremely effective in keeping it out of the way. Stupid games, stupid prizes.
Story 2: my workplace abused the probation time too. They did it as a plea to get the big bosses to get them to pay more money. “We don’t pay enough to get qualified people, we need raises” I was the last one who was fired like that. Then the managers actions were found out and they were fired. I was brought back on staff because I was a good worker and they needed people. Ten years later I’m the big boss
6 Employees total and they went through 8 people in 2 months? Alarm Bells should have been absolutely SCREAMING at the Regional Manglement Level and above! The Regional Manager should have transferred in someone telling her it was a new hire as a test to see how she Manages the Store...and then Fired her Ass when her True Colours are shown to the Mystery-Employee... I would... Hell, I'd have outright Fired her when the person she hired walked out with the till... 😄😁😆😅😂🤣
OMG! We tipped our movers when they loaded the truck and then again when they unloaded the truck. We did move states, so there were different guys on both sides, but we made sure they had water and took breaks if needed, on our dime. They are doing some HARD work and we appreciated that and made sure to let them know. Most don't "expect" tips, but it sure is a nice way to show your appreciation!
I have hair down to my mid thighs and it does get complicated, but all she had to do was tie it up in a ponytail, or bring it to one side of her shoulders. There are a LOT of things she could have done. To go out of your way to harass someone, she deserved the gum.
About the moving company - my guys stayed an extra 2 hours AND I tipped them $100 for the heavy labor and willingness to stay. Treat your workers right!
As a person who for over 15 years has had hair down to my knees, I would never throw my hair over the back of my seat on a plane. One you don't know what the person behind you is going to do just like in this scenario. Two, it's very rude. She should have braided her hair off to the side, or pulled it into her lap like you said. That's what I did. I just pulled it around and put it beside me
It's possible the OP wasn't in the USA. It's also possible the police were just lazy. On this side of the world, towing someone else's vehicle even if it's on your own private property can get you charges for theft. There are ways around that, but they're very specific and will cost *you* money rather than the owner of the vehicle, unless you take civil action against them in court and win.
Story 2: Why the hell aren't poorly run stores investigated the first month or two they take a downturn? Anything more than three months is unacceptable. "Theft and high turnover rates? Let's ignore and never question management there until we get a whistleblower to drop the answer in our lap." Considering how profit driven business is wtf are regional managers doing sitting on a problem like this for so long?
As someone with insanely long hair (I sometimes sit on it by accident) that first story make me so mad. I'm always super aware of where my hair is and what it's touching. Other people don't know me so they definitely don't want my hair all up in their space.
So, several years ago, I'm living in a rural area with an ordinance against non running vehicles. Well, my gf at the time bought a 60's model bug (I assume) got it registered, the whole kit and kaboodle. Several weeks later, a sheriff's deputy sees me on the property, walks up, and hands me a violation. Now, mind you, we had the car tarped, but the tarp blew away in a rather unexpected strong gust of wind, strong enough to carry the tarp to the next town over just the day before. I do what I'm supposed to and show up, enter a plea of not guilty. Judge: your reason for being not guilty? It's on your property. Me: Your honor, it's simple, the vehicle is not mine, it's my gf's. If I read the ordinance properly, it implies the ticket is to be given to the vehicle owner. The judge, before dismissing, calls the deputy and tells him he has 5 minutes to show in court or a warrant would be placed on him. The judge then proceeds to have this deputy put in cuffs and sent to jail for contempt of court, as this was his third time simply assuming a ticket he wrote was valid, despite being instructed to be more careful previously. I still respect and admire this judge for understanding that he actually could do something to ensure the officers around him were serving respectfully and not forcefully.
Story 3 reminds me of a thing my father, brother, and I did once. A person attending an annoying party down the street from our house parked across our driveway so we couldn't get out. We asked at the party for someone to move it but nobody wanted to claim it as their car. So we called the cops and were told that they wouldn't do anything about it, and if we wanted it towed it would have to be at our expense because the car was on private property. The cop told us that if the car was on public property, say blocking the road, then they could give it a ticket and have it towed at the owners expense. So we grabbed the large floor jack from the garage and proceeded to lift the car from one end then the other and move it until it was out of the way and completely blocking the road. Dad then left to do what he had to do, but I stayed home. The cops arrived 10 minutes later, asked around the party for the owner (getting the same response we did) ticketed the car, and had it towed.
First story.... In the late 1980s I worked a few years as checkpoint security at my local airport. Things got tightened up right after the Lockerby, Scotland air disaster. No knives allowed suddenly, not even plastic knives in the snackbar! Ridiculous. At the time, having been fresh out of my ten years military, I thought that the security would be better as a Federal job. Boy, was I wrong!! As crappy as the private security company was, the Federal TSA was a huge mistake!! 😩l
TSA is "Security Theatre" They don't exist for security; they exist to give the illusion of security. They also are no more effective than the previously existing security measures.
As someone who had extremely long hair as a child yes I'd often step on it when getting up from sitting criss cross and other kids would sit on it if they sat on the same bench next to me. I often came home to find someone put gum in my hair at school and I would cry as mom meticulously combed it out because no way was she cutting my hair. It can me done but it sucks. So to remedy my problems a pony tail braid. A side braid or pony tail or double pony/pig tails also work. If you have nothing to tie it use your own hair it doesn't hold very well depending on texture mine is very stright so It'd eventually be loose or undone but just do it again. It's not hard.
Gotta love that fine thin straight hair. I've had to tie mine a few times. Also between my 4 sisters growing up we all had gum in our hair at least once. My Mom used peanut butter to get it out. None of us had to get our haircut. You just have to be patient. It's been a while since then.
Had a similar situation to that last story. Helped my sister's boss movie stuff from his apartment to a U-Haul. Dude lived on the 3rd or 4th floor with only stairs outside to get to them. It was 90°+ in the summer afternoon. After moving nearly all the stuff out i was shaking and my knees was buckling. Then bro guy said "lets novie my dresser in my bedroom". I went into the master bedroom and saws it. The dresser was. About 6ft tall and 4ft wide of 100% solid oak wood in the form of a dresser. Even with all the drawers out that thing was too much for me. I told dude im spent and can't move it even after taking a sit for a minute and drinking some water. He told me to just movie some more of the smaller boxes while they try to figure out how to move the dresser. On one of my last trips down i almost fell on the last step and i dropped one of the boxes. When the box fell i heard the sound of a lot and i mean A LOT of shattering glass. I was freaked for a second but because it was only me out there. So i just put it in the U-Haul. I was going to tell them till bro guy wanted to try and attempt to move the dresser again. I refused and the guy gave me $20 and said he'll take ne back to my sister's house. Now that box of glass shattered sounded more like sweet SWEET music
To be honest, while it doesnt excuse his behavior, I do actually have a modicum of sympathy for the corrections officer. The mental toll such a job can take on someone having to deal with incarcerated criminals all day, especially having to work night shifts or other odd hours, can indeed be quite severe for someone. I know I for one could never last at a job like that.
Back in the day when I worked at Wendy’s, there was this woman who considered herself a manager, even though she wasn’t one. She had a major attitude with all of the other employees, and one day, she made me clean the chili pan bare-handed, a job that we’re supposed to wear gloves for because a strong chemical is used to clean the pan. My hands stung like they were being pierced by tiny needles for days after that. I remember she got transferred to another store not that long after I mentioned the incident to the head manager.

Guy with hair to mid back here. Can attest that at the strange angles, having my hair on my shoulder or between my seat and back for long periods can give me a headache. However, I work in a field where keeping my hair out of my work is super important, so I found this wonderful invention called a "hair tie". I know. Foreign and exotic af. I found it lets me do 8-9 hr workdays without a headache and without my hair going everywhere. Fun stuff there
The person should have put there laptop on top of her hair the weight and heat from the laptop would mess her hair up and if she insists to have in directly in your way
Story 1 - I thought "Knots" but the tray table would be good too. Story 4 - Get yourself a better lawyer. There is no way you should have had to pay even $1 for vet bills.
Actually, by defining an amount to pay for it that makes it harder for the decision to be later appealed/altered so it won't pop back up as a problem again.
Moving van ... my story. When we moved from our city home to our rural home, we hired a well-known moving company. Date and time were decided when the movers, 2 of them at minimum, would be at our home to load up the truck and move us. Truck shows up with 1 mover and his young, and I mean YOUNG, nephew. Seems that the other mover employee cancelled. So here we are with only 1 experience mover. SMH. Kid does barely anything. Oh, and we're paying BY THE HOUR. Finally all our goods on are the truck. But wait, the truck is LOCKED AND THE KEYS ARE IN THE IGNITION. So we sit and WAIT FOR 3 HOURS until someone from the moving company shows up with an extra set of keys. 3 FRIGGIN' HOURS. Finally the truck is unlocked and off they go. They get to our new place and while unloading, the KID BREAKS STUFF. Kid knows nothing about how to carry furniture, etc etc etc. My goods are now BROKEN. I'm PISSED to no end. Husband is pissed too. Suddenly we look at each other and ask, 'where are they??'. I go out to the truck, and they're sitting in the back, taking a break. They're talking and I hear ME being referred to as a Witch cuz I'm pissed that MY property has been BROKEN. You know what, I can be a very very nasty Witch if you cross me. They have crossed me. Anyhow finally all our goods are off the truck and it's time to pay them. This a@@hole is charging ME for the TIME THE TRUCK WAS LOCKED. I said 'NO WAY'. Not MY fault YOU locked yourself out of YOUR truck. A@@hole wouldn't leave without being paid. I wrote a cheque. They left. I STOPPED PAYMENT on said cheque. Then I called the company and said I would send them out a cheque for MUCH LESS because property was BROKEN by some KID. And I wasn't paying for the time they spent sitting with their thumbs up their buttts. Was told we didn't have to pay for the 'move'.
Ooh that first story is Infuriating!! My hair is to my lower back, and I'd never ever put my hair in risk by throwing it over someone's seat, no matter if it's the seat i sit in.. be mindful of other, just not yourself and your needs and wants...
About the girl with long hair, I have worn my hair very long in the past, and it can be a pain (which is why I don’t wear it long anymore), but it is fairly simple to keep from sitting on it without bothering the people around you. That woman was just being a pain for the heck of it. 🙄
Illegal Parking Story: If the Police wouldn't Tow the car, I'd have called the Fire Marshal (or local equivalent) and informed them of the car dangerously parked next to the LOX Tank...THEY would likely either send a Tow truck themselves or call the Police and TELL them to send a Tow truck REGARDLESS of it being Private Property or not and if the Fire Marshal is telling the Police to Tow it, the Police WILL Tow it...
Trespassers knocking down the no trespassing sign so they can then later claim they never saw it is a common occurrence. And in the same vein as that story I've heard mention of people that will set animal traps below the no trespassing sign... So when people walk up to the sign to rip the sign off the tree they step right into the trap. I know lots of states don't require you to have a hunting license to set traps on your own property and you don't even need to wait until a certain time of year... And you don't even need to label and mark them so people know where they are because they're on your own property. So long as you follow all the state and federal rules for setting traps on your own property then everything is on the trespasser for getting hurt by the traps. In my state you don't have to put up any signs or indication that the traps exist... You can even completely cover them with leaves to make them absolutely hidden. The lesson is to respect people's property rights and don't trespass.
As someone with long hair you know you're responsible for it if anything happens to it its your own problem and if you wanna fuck around you'll find out how much a stylist costs
I think it would have been great for that correctional officer to have been sentenced, and put in the same facility as the other offenders that he harassed while working. Just so they can enact revenge.

Story 2: Having worked in HR for 7+ years, mostly in Talent Acquisition, I know for a fact that when there's high turnover rates, after a short while, the manager or supervisor in charge is going to be scrutinized. Add on massive monetary losses, what did she think was going to happen? Corporate, at some point, is going to look to whoever's the supervisor or manager, as there's nobody else to blame. The recording probably just made him think it would be far less painful to just terminate her employment.
Why would you unload on the street? That will only get you in hot water, no matter who's property it is (obstruction and endangerement of traffic). Unload it in the parking spot instead, or maybe the sidewalk. Or if it's not too much work, into the entry-hall to ensure you can't get charged for theft or whatever ones ppl start destroying or stealing the stuff
For the first story, I used to have long hair, so long that it reached the back of my knees, but I kept it in a braid. Thankfully, I have shorter hair, now, but I also knew never to have it in anyone's way.

I agree 💯. I can't understand the entitlement and stupidity of knocking down the signs then try to sue op for his actions.
Also seriously, PETA? Uh that guy clearly must be an ideot, giving how much problems they cause
There's a textbook law school case on this that's nicknamed the shotgun booby trap. You can't booby trap your property to deal with known thieves/trespassers, and are liable for the damages. Maybe the warning signs and plausible presence of bears would get around this but it seems shady to me. The guy got lucky
@@benroberts2222wtf why if it's the owners property and there's warning signs
You need agreement to put it directly on the property line, which matters if you want to save space
@@melkiorwiseman5234 Thank for the post, that’s good information.

As the wise Sun Tzu once said, _"treat your soldiers as you would your own beloved sons and they will follow you into the deepest valley."_ Managers if you want employees to bust their asses for you, you will need to give them the care and support they need and deserve before expecting anything from them.
Never seen anyone quote The Art of War about retail management but it fits.
It seems to be very alien to managers in the States.
I love how the director didn't even get mad. He's was like "I warned her. It's her problem now!!!!!" 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I'd guess he divorced her soon thereafter. He clearly knew her for the Karen she was.
Story 2: Sometimes, the power goes into their head, and sometimes, they were always like that but used a facade. Either way, no establishment wants that sort of person in power.

My Walmart store manager would throw on a poncho and grab carts in the rain when cart pushers didn't show up. He'd jump on register too.
Do COs get PTSD from the job?
Still, he shouldn’t own a dog if he tied it up with no food or water
The dog deserves pity, though.
The dog didn't deserve to get hurt though.

Injuring a dog to get back at an owner? That is reprehensible.

Story 5: They'd have lost their dog either way, it sounds like. Would they have rather come home to a dog corpse in their backyard?
Story 3 was very strange. OP didn't find out he was sued until his lawyer called him? And he got $25K when he wasn't the one suing?
notice in story 2 they had all that evidence with the area manager yet nothing was done until the guy found out HE was the one being insulted thats how people like that manager get into power in the first place the area manager didnt care until it became about him
Two types of people i don't feel sorry for.
“We don’t pay enough to get qualified people, we need raises”
I was the last one who was fired like that.
Story 4, I hope he took the opportunity to tell the folks from PETA to F the hell off.
I have hair down to my mid thighs and it does get complicated, but all she had to do was tie it up in a ponytail, or bring it to one side of her shoulders. There are a LOT of things she could have done. To go out of your way to harass someone, she deserved the gum.
People who neglect animals deserve everything coming to them - and more.
I just pulled it around and put it beside me
a tow company that won't tow without police being involved???? Never heard of that before.
That's rare to the point of improbability.
Happy Monday, everyone. I hope that you all had a great weekend.
Pan Am brought their demise on themselves when they wilfully ignored passenger/baggage reconciliation policies.
TSA is "Security Theatre" They don't exist for security; they exist to give the illusion of security. They also are no more effective than the previously existing security measures.
Story #6: don’t “try” and screw the people that are helping you. Those very people know much better than you how to screw your life up!
I will never understand why they act like that.
It's because they were always like that without their parents' knowledge or they were raised wrong and that was the result.
As soon as the Guy with the neighbour Said "bears in the forest nearby" I honestly thought this was gonna go a different way...
I remember she got transferred to another store not that long after I mentioned the incident to the head manager.
at 7:51, #3, Liquid Oxygen is NOT Explosive. Oxygen supports sombustion, and lowers the ignition point when it's in higher concentrations, but by itself, Oxygen doesn't burn, and doesn't explode. To have fire, you require 3 things, FUEL/HEAT/Oxygen. FYI Trained in Firefighting by the U.S. Navy.
Fun stuff there
Bear trap story, intruder guy should be barred from owning pets at this point, his ego is a danger to his pet.
prison guard story: ditto.
I use to have extremely long hair, when I sat i always pulled it over one shoulder, respecting others is easy.
The person should have put there laptop on top of her hair the weight and heat from the laptop would mess her hair up and if she insists to have in directly in your way
@@ichigo5674 doing so could also be considered assault.
Story 4... they should have had the dog removed from the person who clearly doesn't have the mental abilities to properly care for them.
Story 4 : If it was legal in that state, i would hang up cams and no trespass signs, and if he trespassed again, he would have been sh0t.
Having been a laborer, the worker gets paid. There is no other way to think about it. The worker gets paid.
What they did was still a creative solution.
Im going bald up top but my SO has very long beautiful hair. She puts it up for traveling and hates being a bother to other people.
Who wants to travel with long loose flowing hair that can catch in things and get in tangles, it's idiotic. Braids and buns people! Braids and buns!
Story 1: If she got her hair in my water, that water is getting dumped right over her head. I am also not above pulling strands out one-by-one until she got the message. She instigated it, I'll finish it.
story 1 ... _So don't sit on it. Pull it over the front of your shoulder_
story 6 ... and move his boxes up the elevator and pile them inside the apartment with no regard for order _( or actual regard, placing labels toward the walls, every box in the wrong room )_
So in story 2 the management was already aware of how the business was failing but only waited until someone called her out. Both are pathetic.
Starting to think they needed proof or a confession to avoid a discrimination or unemployment claim.
Just proves my belief, that the worst leaders are usually the ones who WANT to lead; the best are usually the ones who HAVE to lead.
Megalomania is a crimson red flag.
This is why we should BELIEVE prisoners when they suffer at the hands of abusive guards.
Every claim needs to be investigated thoroughly, yes.
You should work corrections for a year and then, and only then, tell us how sweet and innocent the prisoners are.
@@cindykq8086 Did I say that prisoners are sweet and innocent? No. But you seem to be saying that guards have a right to be abusive. You're wrong. Abuse by guards is beyond unacceptable.
That second story.
"Sir what do we do?"
"See that screw over there?"
"Yes sir."
"Nab it cause we are going to screw that woman and her friend out of a job with charges."
Thats like nuking the bridges and then tearing down the place as a whole that no one will be able to escape.
Perfect metaphor for destroying the future employment of power tripping assholes.
First Story - If we had Transporter technology somehow, some way, TSA would still make it take 3 hours to get to the pad.
I have thigh length hair. I would never flip my hair into someone else's space, that's just rude. My hair is either up or over my shoulder into my lap. Hair flipper got her desserts
2nd story : it's like Michael Scott from the office. A likeabke person works very hard, gets promoted by chance, and since they have no idea how to manage a workplace, they try to 'lead by force' and percieved authority.
Story 2: What an idiot, I mean the turnover rate alone was probably the major reason the Area Manager didn't officially promote her, in fact I wouldn't be surprised if the Area Manager was spending his time looking for someone to hire over her and hopefully ride herd on her.
8:25 How does that make any sense? Police won't tow cause it's private property, towing company won't tow without police.
For the first story, I used to have long hair, so long that it reached the back of my knees, but I kept it in a braid. Thankfully, I have shorter hair, now, but I also knew never to have it in anyone's way.
It's sad that people think they're entitled to your labor.
