  • We've already learned about different types of chemical bonds, including covalent bonds. But now that we know about enthalpy, and orbitals, and some other concepts, let's revisit the covalent bond and dig a little deeper.

    Prof.Dave is gonna get more comments on his new hairstyle than on the video itself 😂 but in all fairness, it does look good on you!

    This guy's videos are so much more better than many of the other older channels which have hoarded up subscribers but don't have any content to show for it! Just hang in there buddy, don't stop making videos right now, don't get demoralised, and you'll soon be running one of the most popular chemistry channels on TH-cam. All you need is a little bit of luck.

    Professor when 3 degree carbocatian is more stable than a 2 degree one then why 3 degree one reacts faster than 2?? It should be happier & 2 degree is more unstable hence it should react faster to gain stability

    Prof. Dave how energy can be negative ? What negative energy indicates? Energy should be least zero or more than zero . Am I right?

    • @ProfessorDaveExplains
      @ProfessorDaveExplains  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      potential energy can have a negative value depending on you define the parameters of a system

    • @mumkichux
      @mumkichux 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ProfessorDaveExplainsTHANKYOU SIR . sir my another doubt is that as we say that if there is attraction force so system will lower its energy but if we look at this graph its increasing in negative direction and seems to go towards -infinity, so how its lowering its energy? negative sign only shows that there is attraction force , RIGHT?
