The Killarney Historic Rally is by far my favourite motorsport event on the island of Ireland, it embodies a love for motorsport and times past and brings together passionate enthusiasts who are willing to brave the cold of mountain stages such as Molls Gap and Ballaghbeama and the country stage of Kilgobnet.
This year saw another jam-packed lineup, headed up by WRC Craig Breen and Paul Nagle in the ex Frank Meagher 3 door Ford Sierra Cosworth. After a neck and neck battle with Jonathan Greer and Niall Burns in the Q8 Oils Sierra Cosworth 4x4, Breen and Nagle ultimately had to retire due to drive shaft issues on the way to the final stage of Molls Gap.
