    My husband has Crohn's disease. Whe i asked about the diet, they said no need diet. Their response didn't make me happy.

      I was diagnosed with the same disease, my senior year of high school in 2008. I get so upset with doctors when I asked them about diet and they say it has little to nothing to do with the disease. How in the hell is that correct? We are literally dumping, tons of food hundreds of pounds of nutrition down our digestive track and it has nothing to do with our disease? Kiss my a$$ western medicine

    People you need to remove all processed foods from your diet, quit sugar, the carnivore diet has helped me greatly I've had ulcerative colitis for 18 years.

      I did the carnivore diet religiously and stuck to it for thirty days and it made me worse . It actually sent me to the hospital so I don't know that this is the kind of advice that you need to be giving as a universal One size fits all kind of thing

      @@InShaneMediaWell it worked well for me it took 5/6 months I made my own raw milk kefir to help heal my gut.

      @edwardkennedy9919 I also have a friend that it personally helped. And that's why I tried it, but it had a bad reaction because of all the sulfur . I cut out dairy and processed foods 100% ate nothing but real butter with it and drank bone broth with nutritional yeast every night before bed ..
      Before I started it, my bowel was inflamed But but after the thirty days when I went to the hospital it was so flared that I was completely obstructed and it was the worst pain i've ever experienced .. Everybody's genetics are just a little different I guess .. I'm still in the hospital currently, but i'm having success with the rinvoq medication .. I'm actually able to start eating again because I had to let go of any kind of solid food completely

      I do wholeheartedly agree with the processed foods part though I think that's pretty much universally bad

    Does everyone have bad lower pains, gas etc, on mesalamine? I mean that' why we are taking it, to stop all that...and now I read and hear that those are side effects of the drug?

    • @haileyanderson7870
      @haileyanderson7870 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was recently diagnosed with UC. I started the masalamine suppositories about 5-6 weeks ago and haven't really noticed a difference at all honestly. Maybe a tiny bit less blood but not much.
      I then started my oral mesalamine about 4-5 days ago and I immediately start feeling sharp pains in my chest and heart area, headaches, dizziness, really bad cramping/ pains in my abdominal area, thin stools, blood still... so I'm thinking it's not a good fit for me.

      I was just prescribed this because my doctor believes I may have this but I haven’t taken any tests for it yet. I’m nervous to take it because I don’t want the side effectss.

( steroids) he ended up with a severe infection hospitalized & had surgery… It’s tough to see our children go through it… 🙏🏼blessing may your child continue to heal…
