    What is the name of the other wax you mentioned that makes the crystal burst?
    Thank you in advance.

    Hi! I just want to ask, why my palm wax doesn’t mixed with fragrance oil? Thankyou

      Hi Shefira, there is no reason why it shouldn't. Oil and oil should mix well. if you bought both products from the same supplier perhaps ask them the question? Do you know if the fragrances are high quality?

      HI Zac, it is made from the pulp of the fruit from palm trees.

    Hi , what temperature that I need to pour the fragrance oil that not to get crystal using palm wax and what temperature should I pour them into jar that I don't want to get crystals

    • @aussiecandlesupplies
      @aussiecandlesupplies  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      HI Zara, if you don't want to get crystals pour the wax at a really low temperature, as low as it can go before starting to get slushy. That should stop the pattern

    Hi how are y'all I watched ur video tonight for the first time gotta say more professional than some I saw . My question is what kind of essential oil is good for candle making? Would it be ok to use the ones that are at the store in the vitamin area at the store or do I need to get a special kind? Also the tarts can u use that in ur candles with out oils? I am learning I have wax that I am want to get down these things go I can start.

    • @aussiecandlesupplies
      @aussiecandlesupplies  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can use any essential oils that are pure, which most are, unless they say 'blended'. check that your oils say 100% then you know you should be ok. What do you mean by "also the tarts can u use that in ur candles with out oils"?

      @@aussiecandlesupplies thank u very much on the information u gave me. That means today I will be making candles before work. The tarts I was talking about i just saw on a video and it looks like it is scented wax that u put in a candle wax warmer. Not 100 percent never used but was wondering I love that Christmas 🌳 scent hard to find.

    • @aussiecandlesupplies
      @aussiecandlesupplies  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Kayla, I understand now. The tarts are fragranced just like your candles so they then replace the oils in the top of your oil burner. Hope you have fun with your candle making

      @@aussiecandlesupplies I made three kinds paraffin came out like a clear jel form but I added color to it. I didn't like the way it did i got big dips by the wick. And the palm wax I had a hard time with it was starting to set before I could do anything. But I got it. I was measuring in Fahrenheit is that right. I am up for opinions and guidance do u have any what would u mix together to make them do better. My soy wax came out pretty think I might just stick to it . I am sorry all the questions please for give.

    • @aussiecandlesupplies

      I wouldn't mix the palm wax as it works better on its own. Pour your palm wax at about 203 degrees Fahrenheit and you shouldn't have any problems. Candle making takes a little bit of practice at the beginning to get everything right and to see how all the waxes react and work. Keep practicing and you will get better

    hi i want to ask ,i used body mold and the butt area always cracked and get some crystal but the others is fine do you know why that happened?do i need to heat it above 65 to make it smooth?

    • @aussiecandlesupplies
      @aussiecandlesupplies  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      try pouring it cooler so the crystals don't form. We have also been using tart wax with 10% paraffin and that has worked beautifully.

    Hi, if we're pour the fragrance oil during high temperature, won't the scent be evaporated?

    • @aussiecandlesupplies
      @aussiecandlesupplies  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it can evaporate a bit but not too much. Ive never found it an issue with all the palm candles i have made. You can always increase your fragrance a bit to combat any evaporation

    • @schahannie
      @schahannie 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      thank you for your response. what's the maximum ratio of fragrance we can use for palm wax? I'm also making wax tablet, using palm wax. Other than palm wax, do you recommend any other wax that retain fragrance really well? thank you!

    • @aussiecandlesupplies
      @aussiecandlesupplies  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      For a palm we generally suggest 6-8% though if you feel it's not strong enough go up to 10%. Soy also retains fragrance really well. We say up to 12% for the GW series and up to 18% on the Quantum series

    • @aussiecandlesupplies
      @aussiecandlesupplies  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      HI Biru, use a non metal mould like silicone and also pour very low. That will stop the crystallization

      @@aussiecandlesupplies Thank you! that's a great answer. But how can i do if i make palm candle jar ? i don't use any mould actually. And what best low temperature that you recommend to stop that crustallization ?

    • @aussiecandlesupplies
      @aussiecandlesupplies  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@birupagi4477 HI Biru, pour as low into the jar as you possibly can before it totally congeals in the pot. This should reduce the crystallization effect. You can also try adding some other wax to it like beeswax or paraffin as well

    This was a great video but I found the background music was too loud and I could hardly hear what you both were saying as the volume on your voices seemed to drop ☹️

    • @aussiecandlesupplies
      @aussiecandlesupplies  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Liz, that's strange as it is the opposite for me. The background music is very low and our voices stand above it quite loudly. It could be a setting on your computer. I have checked with the developers and they have had the same results.
