Hi Michelle, Oh how fun!! Yard sales are the best! I put two waterproof zippered covers and one fitted sheet type cover and it has been totally fine for me. Are you using multiple encasements?
Think the blue better so doesn't show the dirt, but I would still buy a garden protector( the ones that cover patio furniture) as don't think those bed shert/protectors will cut the mustard of a good rainfall. Just saying that's my view from having children and one's 19 other 21. Great idea of using your mattress and think more people ought to give it an idea.xxx
Everything is holding up nicely! I had to replace the top blue cover because it got sun bleached. Other than that the mattress is still dry and protected.
It’s holding up really well! I’ve needed to change the to mattress protector every year because it fades and gets brittle from the sun. Other than that it’s great!

Yay!! The top fitted mattress protector wants to slide around with use. Really tuck in the corners and you’ll be good!
