YOOO!! the DET flywheel clutch surface area is bigger than the DE, and there's more options for DET CLutch. The flywheel has the same outer diameter + bolts right in then use DET clutch.
Get this to the top so jimmy sees. Probably knows from forums but just in case
I made this mistake years ago.

Thats pretty good for the stock clutch to hold at 250. My FWD Sr20de-T clutch would slip at around 205hp at 11psi. Rocked the stock clutch the full time I owned the car lol.

The stock clutch on my turboed DE slipped on the dyno aswell, I had the option to turn the boost down but instead chose to have a HD clutch fitted.

I'm running a DE with the same turbo. Internal wastegate won't flow enough and boost creep. External wastegate fixed it. Awesome response from that turbo I love it

Hey jimmy you are pulling the trans the hard way. There’s no need to drop the subframe and tilt the engine. You slip the trans off the dowel pins then rotate the box around just off 180 degrees then the small thin part of the box is at the top and there’s 2 round cut outs for the chassis rails. This gives more room to pop the sr gearbox out. I’ve done it many times and can do a complete clutch change and box back in less than 1 hour.
Well it did take about 7 seconds to lower the subframe so I wouldn’t consider that the hard way! Hahaha

Love this car. It looks like my boys s14 in 2000 working under it. Nothing compared to the trash out here in the NE. I think 250-300 is a good power level for oem+ this way you can keep the rods and pistons for a bit. The upside here is since it was NA you know its an SR that wasn't raped and had a bunch of hands in it.

People HAVE made over 400 on stock DE engines, but 250 wheel is def a pretty safe number from all my research. Stock clutch though, obviously pretty limited.

100% use a genuine rear main, I’ve had issues using aftermarket rear mains and leaking almost instantly

FYI, the DE clutch is a smaller diameter than the DET, you would be crazy not to get a DET sized clutch/flywheel combo
