Just got back home from visiting my daughter on vacation in Green Port Long Island and here's your video! Can't get mad at that! Some really interesting "what's it" items you find, young man...and I don't have a clue as to what that strange brass item was... I've got a box full of those things. Congrats on some great hunts...I'm sure that once you put more time in on the new machine, you'll come to really enjoy it...old time diggers always said "practice, practice, practice....and then more practice"! Thanks, as always, for sharing your hunts... greatly appreciate it! Take care, be safe and God bless!
Love the videos. I have the Nox 800 and love it. I prefer to dig when the ground is a little wetter. Makes a big difference. Also have the Legend and I do a lot of comparisons. Like them both for different situations.
Hey Mike how's you and your family doing. Love the video. I'm kinda doing the same thing with the Equinox 700 and X Terra Pro. I go to a spot I've pounded with one one day and the other detector the next day. It's been pretty good so far. Scored a Silver Horse Head with the X Terra Pro. Today I scored my 3rd SLQ 1917 S with the Equinox. Love the Lock Slide. Still haven't found one yet. I'm not giving up. The 936 piece is awesome awesome. Congrats on the forged nail, Buttons, and Copper. Take Care Duo Family
I still like the Nox the best , it seems to be rock solid even on iron invested soil or salty low tide sand it sniffs out the targets like a dream. I also have a Garret AT Max and it is very unstable in salty wet sand, you have to turn the sensitivity so low to counter all the false signals but the Nox has no problems at all. Thanks for the show that was a great haul of old stuff, to me that is the real treasure!
@@walksuponwater7261 I tend to agree. The Nox is very stable and solid. I’m trying to tweak the Manticore to mimic that. Thanks again friend for stopping by
Another great video. Hope you all are doing well. Dealing with the big Park fire here in California. Crazy. Hey. Please let us know if you find out what the 936 thing js. Take care. 😊
Nice finds Mike! I'm not positive, but that brass piece with the numbers on it might be an old rod lifter from a model T or A motor or could be from an old motorcycle engine.
All terrain general, all tones, single tone break, audio normal simple profile is the closest I've found to the Xterra pro which is similar to the 700 . The high conductor more can make everything sound too good sometimes... Try using the stabilizer on 2 or 3 if you don't use it already.
I often run my Manticore in Enhanced low conductor and it SCREAMS with square nails, always 95-98 center line one way and then an ugly sounding and looking 40s tone the other.
Nice comparisons between the two machines. The shine on those Tombac's! Gotta Love It!
@@dirtlifedetecting Amazing how they come out so shiny, thanks again friend
Nice hunt Mike, really nice Tom back buttons and that braided hair large cent 👍
