- Sometimes the adventure is not about getting to the top. While some consider stairs to be their enemy, Summit owns the repeating, sand-covered 90-degree angles effortlessly. Thanks to its Revo DNA, Summit is able to breeze down the descent with ease. The long-travel suspension and GTR shocks make short work out of the sand-covered approach. Once in the sand, the Canyon A/T tires and beefy four-wheel drive system grab traction and deliver the massive Titan 775 power to the ground. So, where will your adventure take you?

I own a summit, and let me tell you something, it is the best rc I've ever owned! only problem i ever had with it is one of the steering servos went out on me, but that's it!

Hunter Carlson Same here. It was actually the first rc that I seriously looked into buying years ago and I didn't have the money so I ended up buying a stampede 4x4. Now I have a small army of 1/10 scales and still no summit....I could have had a summit long ago with the money I have in all them....live and learn I guess.

These are the best cars ever!!!!
Although I own one, Summit is extremely outdated in stock form and must have a bunch of updates to work firmly as I'm still continuously spending money on it and repairing it much than driving it. It should go through redesign from the scratch to keep the legend on.

Both the steering servos went on mine after about 6 hours run time pick up some 2075s if you have the chance

Hey that's my truck.
I was ready to buy my 3rd Summit, and I couldn't because it was out of stock everywhere!!! I got thinking that this was for a reason. Because the new 2.0 Revo was getting ready for release. Then I got cold feet thinking that this beast was going to be discontinued!! And here yesterday I stopped in my L.H.S. for some Traxxas XXL shocks, and there is a shiny new Red 1/10th scale Summit sitting on the shelf!!! So now I am worried about buying it, and then it will come out as the Summit 2.0... . . .
PS: I LOVE THE ORIGINAL 1/10TH SCALE SUMMIT 4X4X4 MONSTER TRUCK!!!!!!!!!! ;} I don't ever want to see it DISCONTINUED, however, I do understand that when the sales start slacking off. Traxxas starts loosing money. I really want to turn the Summit into a Chevron tire running scale trail monster truck!!! If you Traxxas, could find it in your hearts to keep it around for say 20 more years. That would be EPIC!!!!! ;}

Probably the slash, bandit, rustler, or mini e revo, all depends on what body style you want and what speeds
I'd like to see it go UP the stairs. All rcs can go down stairs, some tumble more than others, but it's still going down.

The only problem with Traxxas is, they are expensive, but worth every penny.

you guys should put the shocks on the A arms and not have them pushed back up into the chassis, you would get better rebound and it wouldn't go so slow

RSmerlinRS The sand is no big deal. Just use an air hose and blow sand off. Salt water, can't say. But handles snow without much problem.
That summit looks waaaaaay faster than normal. Different gearing? lipos?

Hey, having some troubles with my own summit, it has no go to it what so ever on a full set of batteries and whenever I try to climb up something the power cuts out and it has no response for a few seconds. Did I kill the ESC, need new batteries, or what. Had it for about 2 years now
