We left off last week's video with us stranded in Belgium on our way home from Amsterdam, not knowing if, when or how we'd make it back to London, and when we did, whether we'd be able to leave and head the rest of the way home thanks to all the travel chaos caused by the heat wave. the end of what one could call a trilogy of kev trying to get home from amsterdam has finally been complete. Great lot of videos and nice to see the journey you had to go on to get home.

Less sweaty option would be to take a plane. I don't know, but it seems much faster to me. Great video Kevin and Anna!
The plane was cancelled. That’s why we were travelling by Eurostar in the first place.

Me watching this and realizing what a spoiled American I am because if I had to exist in a world without air conditioning I would simply and quiety pack my bags and start driving west towards the top of the rockees or something. Im in Washington DC and it sits right around 90-95 all summer often topping over 105 degrees with 70-99 percent humidity. My home theromostat goes to 67 degrees in May and stays there until October.
Time to get back into this channel. 💗

Nighmare journey, but interesting videos on how you dealt with it. Is there another video to explainhow you claimed back all expensews and how sucessfull or not you were?

There's no laundromat in the hotel? That surprises me. At least here in America, there are laundromats you can use to actually wash your clothes, you may just have to provide the detergent.
Hardly any of our hotels have them. Some hotels with a better rating may have a dry cleaning or laundry service though. It's normally an optional extra.

How much was an uber / taxi from London back to your car? Wouldnt it have been cheaper than the hotel in London, plus expenses while in London for another day?
Kevin next time you get a train and its cancelled speak to the station they should provide some alternative transport that be it a bus or taxi its out of your control i work at nottingham station 😊
There was no alternative. Nothing was running.

Not on this day they couldn’t. No trains were running out of London. Everything was cancelled. No coaches, buses, hire cars.

The plane getting cancelled was what got us into this mess in the first place…
All these delays would give me so much anxiety with my Autism
