I stopped using UberEats because of the ridiculous fees and my food being cold most of the time. You're a great rider because you show you care but most I have clearly don't. My last straw was a guy stopping off four times on the way to me and my food was cold. I don't know if they were other deliveries but he was all over the map. What if I wasn't his last stop and he had more? The one after me, their food would have been frozen.
Nah, Uber was most likely not in fault here. Uber says if the driver has to make another delivery before yours, so your driver probably hogged up multiple deliveries on different apps and got you in the last place. I would've got Uber support (which is AI based nowadays it seems) and got at least some of the money back.
@@SplinterizZz deliveroo has riders scan when they pick your food up so they can't pretend they haven't yet (they do this on just eat) imo it's the only delivery service at the minute worth using, Just eat and uber are full of it.

I stopped using Uber too. Sick of watching him drive all over the place after picking my food up. Just Eat seems to be more reliable.
One day everyone will stop using uber eats cos that'll realise you're better off getting it yourself. When riders put their profits before customer service this is what happens.

Its kicking off mate!! A carbonara is sooo easy to make yourself! 5min preptime so you have it all ready and then 10min your eating ;) (egg,parmigano,pecorino,pancetta,spagetti)
It is easy, but it's also easy to muck it up if you end up scrambling the egg. I'd like to make it with guanciale instead of pancetta as it is more authentic but I just cannot get it near where I live.

I'm from Toronto, Canada and uber eats is as bad as yours. Have over 18k deliveries and barely get any orders. Since 3 years we have had a huge influx of immigrants from mostly Punjab, India and they have oversaturated the market and reduced the quality of service. Every restaurant owner and customer has told me how common food theft occurs.

Man I did a month of delivering in London back in January and seeing you do all these spots is making me want to come back and do it again. Roo and Uber can be fucking harsh sometimes but it's also just so much fun to discover new places through doing the job!

If you get a decent chunk of time off work you should take the motorbike up to Scotland and look at doing the NC 500, some of those roads are amazing for drives!

Problem with UK holidays is you price them up like Devon and Cornwall and it's usually cheaper to go abroad and get half board on top and guaranteed sun.
Probably never get to England, unfortunately. I like the drive though. Very cool drive through London though.
UE in the US lets anyone with a face to sign up and the good orders go to those new drivers first to lure them in. After a while they start throttling you. In major cities where they have to pay drivers minimal wages, they made it difficult for customers to add tips. My friend told me it's common to see orders that paying $3 going 10 miles

Most of the low quality food places in Manchester are only on Uber and no other service. That should tell you something.

I can only work uber eats in Australia, due to the recent surge in migrants the other 3 apps aren't accepting delivery riders. I'm online for 10 hours some days for only $40(AUD).. Really enjoy the busy nights, and thinking of getting fulltime work to move countries and deliver food somewhere else xD
I deliver Doordash in Utah, and I think driving around here is bad. I couldn't imagine delivering in a city like London, lol. A bike is a must

i have a destination for you in the lake district but in summer time Crumock and Buttermere theres a camp site called Sykes Farm bring ur own tent pitch anywhere no electric hook ups bt they do hav glamping and yurts aswel 👍👍

Hard to believe that Uber is dead in the capital of England…more likely either an algorithm glitch in which case support should help, if not that it can only be some kind of a shadow ban..not necessarily malicious but needs sorting…good luck and stay safe
@wizzytimeless I tried ordering with uber once. It took an hour for the driver to beg me to cancel the order. Sorry, cancel it yourself. Never had any real problem with justeat, and people like consistency.

Uber is still good in some areas. If you're planning on working outside London, it's good to keep it as an option.
I'm in South Wales and not gonna lie, Uber Eats is fantastic. Simple to use, you can go on and off anytime and cash out daily. Just Eat pays a bit more per delivery but the pay is weekly. There are no Deliveroo opportunities at the moment so I'm on standby. Traffic is always terrible and I'm so tempted to get an electric cycle.
Im going through application process for the Uber/deliveroo in my area, gktta pay fkr a background check on uber which is annoying though, thrn gonna get me an ebike (which i want for my work commute anyway) and thrn try do some delivery on the side of i can, cos id definitely e joy this more than what i currently do

If you're having issues receiving trip requests while online, try the following: Make sure you're within the city you're activated to drive in. Move to a location with more requests. Ensure your preferences are set to receive all trip types that you're eligible for good luck hope that helps if not try contacting ubereats driver and see what they can do their end
He's had the account for many years and been in the same city and delivered in other cities before.. and good luck if you think uber support is gona help 😂😂😂
