Well we knew this day was coming, but it's arrived a lot faster than I expected it to and I'm absolutely not ready! But now I have 24 hours to move my entire lego collection, including the Lego City, all our display sets, loose lego and sealed sets from our current house to our new Lego Room in the new house. This is going to be a long day...

Turns out moving house is WAY more fun when you're watching someone else on the internet doing it 😅
Moving house on its own is no fun, but having to dismantle and rebuild the city is next level... godspeed Kev!
Don't know if you follow bricksie, watching him move his sets fully assembled in a uhaul was quite something.
I can attest that moving is one of the WORST thing ever, which is why I've told mum that we're never moving again (we've been in the flat where we are now since August '22) 😃👍🏻

Its so much easier doing this when you have both houses! I did this a few months back (minus lego) all in one day going from to the other in one day, its madness

Put them in bin bags that’s what I did when I moved. It works really well.

All my Lego/building blocks stayed in tact when I moved.
I avoided building the majority of my lego because I knew id be moving when I could afford to buy a house and it would all fall apart in the move. Bought a house in December '22 and still haven't got round to building it ☹
Best of luck with the rest of the move. I dread the day that I have to move house again. It's never fun.

When we moved, we took apart our collection. I've only just really been rebuilding it, and have about 5 sets still to build when I find display space
Last November I had to dismantle all my big sets to put them in the attic while the whole house was painted and decorated. I used zip loc freezer bags to pack it up. One bag for each floor of a modular. When you come to re-build it is much more difficult. Having a set in three bags rather than twenty makes it hard sorting for parts.
Yeah, that’s why I didn’t want to disassemble stuff!
I’ve had to move my LEGO City 3 times in my life. It started in our living room then into our conservatory. About 3 months I moved my city into the attack so moving Lego sets up a staircase was a hassle but moving them up into a old lader which wasn’t secure as it was Brocken has hard but it’s the best the city has looked. Great job mate! Can’t wait to see it fully finished!

I wrapped mine in cling film and put them in bags and my disney castle in 3 parts the top bits i wrapped in cling film and the base in a box with bedding to keep it in place good luck with the move
Kev if you're still after the table football set the lego shop at Trafford palazzo the discovery one has it on sale they have 2 it's priced at 172 down from 215 I e just been in and seen it

Hi kevin chapman and anna good luck with everything i understand just hows stressful the move lets hopefully not have a bad repeat off any problems with this move i remember the last one kevin make sure the cables outside this house arent gonna get cut please we dont want another Wi-Fi problem, but well done on all its alot off moving houses with you two ive seen this been the third house, but needs must anna youll be fine rest when can and look after yourself try heatrub or muscle rub not heat on your back its horrible pain i know anna keep smiling good luck you both enjoy the best you can From Julie

Look at your suggested videos and competition. They all have BIG room with BIG table with intricate Lego city
They don’t have COSTCO shelving system with Lego in shadows
I like you and your channel. Above is just critique not criticism or angry. Food for thought. Maybe buy a storage unit or smash through one of the walls (forget about the landlord you will be rich if you dedicate to Lego channel)
We’ll see. Quite apart from anything else, shopping and convention videos have been the best performers, a lot of the city updates struggled for views.
In reality most people watch for the personality of the TH-camr they just don’t realise it. Don’t listen to this fool.
