That last story reminds me of how I met some of my best gaming friends. It was in GW1 and I got a rando invite to join a guild. It was super tiny (counting me it was maybe 10). The guild leader was significantly older than all of us. The only officer was in college, I was in high school at the time, and another two were just starting middle school. The GM seemed like a cool guy and wanted us to talk on vent since he didn't like typing. There's no twist or anything. The GM, two middle schoolers, and I ended up becoming close and swapped over to wow not long after I joined. That GM turned out to be an amazing voice of reason in my life. If I knew then what I know now the moment he asked me to get on VC I probably would've bailed but I'm honestly glad I didn't.
GW1 was my first MMO and to this day I’ve yet to encounter such a lovely community. I played WoW concurrently with GW1 til end of EoTN (and about 2 years after), and while I made some lifelong friends in WoW, every guild had an element of drama or players who were toxic; GW still stands as my most wholesome multiplayer experience and still count some of my old Guildmates as some of my closest RL friends.
'you can brush your teeth with a screwdriver' holy shit i nearly died!!!! love you mike, you've gotten me through some shit and appreciate you and you're team more than you can imagine, much love, keep up the good work
52:07 oh my god, that was the pug guild i was in from late wod in an attempt to get back into raiding again. did a total of 3 raids with them between wod and legion and then immediately went to another guild. from what i heard from friends in that old guild, they indeed, could not kill ursoc normal. for at least 2 weeks
hahahaha! I just watched the "Skill Spectrum" Drama Time, and then I watched this one, and saw the graphic in the background. You're amazing, Preach! Thanks for everything, my dude.
OH MY!!!! That last raid group!!!!!!! I was in it!!! I know that MW monk that got kicked, he was on my server (Frostmourne)! And immediately he started messaging me about how that group sucked. I played my unholy DK in that raid! I was running it to get my haste trink off Raden. Which I got that night!
I love your content Preach, you do a lot of great and informative work, you're a source of news and analysis I trust. But despite not learning anything other than more disdain for humanity from Drama Time, it's my favorite thing you do.
Lets take a moment to recognize that a family of at least 5 had 4 computers and was able to buy 4 copies of WoW with the sub in 2004. That is a rich ass family
Casual in my sense is I don't do required/scheduled raids anymore. Raiding in my guild is optional, which makes it casual to me. So I can join the raid whenever I feel like it. Usually only works with flex raid sizes like heroic and normal.
oh god that one day in shadowlands and night fae. didnt even get into the story and my brain was thinking of 'is it the ride ysera bug or the cage in the maw?' both I saw and the cage im stuck on T_T
I was in a guild back in MoP. they paid for my xfer so i could raid with them. I found out after the xfer that the guild was a "family guild" luckily it worked out for the most part and were able to clear heroic raids as #2 guild on the low pop server that we were on, lol but it was fun til someone wanted to go to 25m for more gear.... when we had a total of 11 raiders (this was before mythic and flex raiding)
How the hell am i in the tradechat everytime this first story guy mentions trade chat. I remember that day... First time i was there in a part of drama time story.
I'll never forget my friend introducing me to wow in 7th grade during BC. We both met a hunter on my realm who taught us the game and helped us out. Dude was 45 at the time and worked on oil fields in Texas. Coolest fucking dude I've ever met on wow, all 3 of us played together for years until he basically quit and just didn't have time for wow anymore. I always knew signals to look out for being younger at the time and never had issues playing with people who were older than me. Shit all the friends I still have and the guild I raided with in wotlk were easily all 15+ years older than me and now that I'm 26 I still am close with some of them over all these years.
lol i got into beta played for months issues from first week of beta still there at the end of it GREAT, time off i planned said fuck it where going camping cause no wasting a 4 day weekend.
But 12y old Girls r fine? Remember a 11y Girl that kept following me around in wow. She did not understand English (we both swe), ended with me ignore her becuse she was so irritated.
So I quit near the end of legion, but I listened to your drama times from WoD to Legion and there was another guy named ghosty he was your partner, I’m back to playing and still love your content, but where did mr ghosty go! That dude was hilarious.
Online games have allowed for a few odd personality to surface. As in the "mythic" story, some players "know" they are great guild leaders, or fighters, or battle commanders. But they aren't. Others seem to see other player characters as slightly more annoying mobs.
Force all the tanks to tank a fresh +2 up to +15, and make your decision by how many deaths each tank had regardless of why the death happened. Log all runs. Make the decision, and kick anyone who crys about it.
Hearing that first impression of oribos, almost 2 years later, I have to say they are dead on. I hate that place. It's more an airport terminal than a city.
I have opted into several beta's for WoW and never once been accepted. This time I would like to just thank Blizzard sincerely for rejecting my beta application.
I appreciate the last story. I just wish I'd had similar good experiences with Latin American guild groups. I've joined at probably a dozen of these PUGs and they all failed horribly. No one did mechanics and people were doing like 10k DPS. -.-
In their defense, regarding the quests as the first quest in the cov campaign, it was the same in BFA. Not really a defense cause it was garbage then too, but it does seem to be the "standard" now.
When I see a young kid is playing the game as someone who doesn't want the game to die I want to help them out and quest with them or give them a little gold but they'd have to be in their later teens for me to try to try and actually be friends and raid together.
It's fun because looking back now they've gotten so much credit for "delaying" the xpac to make it work better but here we are still playing the same season in wow. I'm pretty sure it was marketing that made the delay look "good" while in reality they just fuckin delayed it for no real reason
Wait.. An airforce fighter pilot was involved in a Army two seat Apache helicopter? While yes they will take up someone as a sandbag on a maintenance test flight, those are usually pretty safe flights. Were they practicing inverted flight while rangers ran on the underside of the blades?
Dude that first story author sounds literally exactly like me down to wanting to be a Kyrian and the political discussions ruining the questing on beta
Re: "The Ladykiller" true story - had a guy tell me he was "basically a hired killer" for the U.S. government. As a sharpshooter, he would be sent out on covert missions and if he disappeared for a few days, not to fear, that this is probably what was going on... now I've always believed when it comes to MMO "personas" you can be anything you want as long as you don't harm or hurt another person. However, I honestly felt insulted that this guy actually thought I was stupid enough to believe him. Because after all - government sanctioned assassins absolutely discuss that stuff online with random strangers... /facepalm.
The second it was obvious the officers were the problem he should have taken up everyone who didn't like their shittiness or piss poor management and formed a new guild -- it sounds that could be a real thing that could have happened instead of falling for their power play bullshit.
"Have you seen Torghast though m8" had me rolling so hard 🤣
When he got up out the chair 😂
“Have you seen ‘im??” I was dying at work lol
Every time Mike does his "m8 m8 m8, do you even pvp doe m8" it kills me.
U try war mode doe m8?
Fucking love it
@@SpartSubLH exactly lol
I was in tears
"Have you tried war mode though mate" My god this drama time had me roaring 😂
"It works sometimes"

*starts wheeling the chair around *
😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣

that last story also could having called
that Ragnaros PUG that could
hahahaha! I just watched the "Skill Spectrum" Drama Time, and then I watched this one, and saw the graphic in the background.
You're amazing, Preach! Thanks for everything, my dude.
There was a time parents wanted enough kids to fill a football team. Nowadays it's 3 to fill the dungeon grp xD (2 for FFXIV)
For some inexplicable reason there was a guy who went on the beta and bitched about people discussing spoilers. He claimed it was "A simple request."
I also find it amazing that this guy joined the beta and was surprised that there were bugs.
Yes, the MW monk was from Frostmourne. I'm glad the trinket dropped for you.
This first story really just was "I played beta, and it was beta" but in cursive
I mean, that's an unusual amount of gamebreaking bugs to encounter so close to release.
"Played the Beta 5 weeks before the supposed release, and it was beta."
@@camzoman will say, I did comment this without noticing the mention of it being close to 27th
He said he also beta tested half the expansions of wow so him being surprised at the bugs actually says something
@NuBz they can and they do so
Preach for PRESIDENT!
Preach!
Agree
For hypocrisy, that would be, probably the worst day in the human history.
I love your content Preach, you do a lot of great and informative work, you're a source of news and analysis I trust. But despite not learning anything other than more disdain for humanity from Drama Time, it's my favorite thing you do.

My word a two hour special... dude im gonna have to break this up. Well done.
I'm a healer main who sucks at DPS too, I feel bad for her, that's basically my worst nightmare.
I am loving american-preach-batman voice lol
These stories have me cracking UP. I absolutely love drama time. Subbed and bell 🛎 ON! Personality you have is so refreshing and funny.
Last one was epic. Almost as great as “Jenn” and her old saggy melons plastered all over the guild forums 🤣
That one was a legend for sure. Guild Grandma gets it 🤣
which episode was the Jenn one?
Perfect for me to watch on my night shifts. Ty Preach
Preach's "edgy" voice is on point.
I’m Batman
Casual in my sense is I don't do required/scheduled raids anymore. Raiding in my guild is optional, which makes it casual to me. So I can join the raid whenever I feel like it. Usually only works with flex raid sizes like heroic and normal.
The "Success Story" was best hands down.
oh god that one day in shadowlands and night fae. didnt even get into the story and my brain was thinking of 'is it the ride ysera bug or the cage in the maw?' both I saw and the cage im stuck on T_T
That fake military dude impression is the beans. Awesome man 😄😅
one of the most enjoyable streams I've watched in a while. thank you
Am I a Good GM guy,
You should've said simply "we don't have any issues with tanks, so we don't want to change any of our tanks. No trials."
That transition to the 2nd drama time scared the fuck outta me cause it was really loud rofl
“...With dreams they can never hope to achieve.”
So, me just in general, then?
10:34 Tradechat Torghast I rewatch and laugh so many times
I was in a guild back in MoP. they paid for my xfer so i could raid with them. As soon as I saw the title on the bench with the rest of the wives I was like “bet it’s a healer priest” and it was.
dude, the rainbow and kain story made my sides hurt
I thought he would've killed the Kain guy, but when he said he went and killed his sister I was shook. Amazing play
How the hell am i in the tradechat everytime this first story guy mentions trade chat. I remember that day... First time i was there in a part of drama time story.

WHAAAAAT? Bugs in a beta? Inconcievable!
Little did we know, Torghast was a block of wood too!
i'd be that person that would track down kain and give him a good talking to if he tried that nonsense with my sister.
actually this comment ironically sounds like something he'd say
Hearing these stories now make me sad thinking how blizz did wow
"I did my best to ignore them" didn't /leave general did ya tho
For real, that kind of shitposting is usually done by a group of 10-20 regulars that can be easily ignored to never be bothered again.
lol i got into beta played for months issues from first week of beta still there at the end of it GREAT, time off i planned said fuck it where going camping cause no wasting a 4 day weekend.
"it's not a good idea to befriend 12 y/o boys" - Preach.
But 12y old Girls r fine? Remember a 11y Girl that kept following me around in wow. She did not understand English (we both swe), ended with me ignore her becuse she was so irritated.
This was the best episode since a back-to-back master pair in S2.
Though very poor that only 1 person commented that Spanish means notBrazil
"Where Torghast at mate?!?" Cracked me up SO HARD rofl
Been playing SL since alpha and this guy came into more bugs in a day then I did the whole time...
So I quit near the end of legion, but I listened to your drama times from WoD to Legion and there was another guy named ghosty he was your partner, I’m back to playing and still love your content, but where did mr ghosty go! That dude was hilarious.
Trying to work out and listen to that Torghast story was a mistake. I'm dying.

1:20:34 I was not ready for such a speech but it revived a part of my soul
The mention of Beta Trade chat triggered me so hard.
Hearing that first impression of oribos, almost 2 years later, I have to say they are dead on. I hate that place. It's more an airport terminal than a city.
Secret Blizzard Airforce Guild sounds like something that I'd kickstart.
Bro I am literally fkin dying laughing .. you are hilarious !! You need to do more like this !!!!!!!!!!
Warmode. 60% of the time, it works every time.
Last story was really good enjoyed that
Bro, that Kain voice is the greatest thing I've ever heard. Been watching you for 7 years and that was fucking amazing. Hell yes, brother
Kain's invisible loot gave me the biggest cackle.
Trolls are the greatest race ever! YOU TAKE THAT BACK YOU MONSTER!
In their defense, regarding the quests as the first quest in the cov campaign, it was the same in BFA. Not really a defense cause it was garbage then too, but it does seem to be the "standard" now.
There's a jungle on the local on the west coast that happens, it goes,"Thank God it's Friday!"
Lol the tank story guy should get a M Nzoth lockout and see which tanks can actually handle down grp 1 Psychus. See who sucks real quick.
Gotta say the LADYKILLERS has me rolling on the floor :D
Watching these pre-hair transplant videos is a trip
When I see a young kid is playing the game as someone who doesn't want the game to die I want to help them out and quest with them or give them a little gold but they'd have to be in their later teens for me to try to try and actually be friends and raid together.
This never fails to entertain. Never laughed so much. Thanks
yea green alert is like a secret apache pilot code, because red alert is with u-boats
Glad it got delayed but they better get it right because the stakes went up on its success with that move.
Last story had me crying 🤣😂
At this point need a best of drama time series.

That hopeless dreams story Hahahaha that poor guy leading the “casual” crew rip
Dude that first story author sounds literally exactly like me down to wanting to be a Kyrian and the political discussions ruining the questing on beta
That first story. -chef kiss-
Don't hold back. I know I was playing devil's advocate a few times. But, yeah, it's fucked. 😹

The ladykiller story was basically an RP story basically without being about RP lol
Lol don't wait for that email
His voice is amazing in the Lady killer story haha
The Ladykiller - Not Guilty!
War mode. 60% of the time, it works every time.
I wouldnt say classic is casual, its easy but the time investment is anything but casual
you should have lead with the lady killer story. so good.
This first story should be shown to anyone who is giving Blizz crap about delaying the expansion
Last story, that surfer bro airforce voice.
That first story is absolutely hilarious
Pure GOLD! Great vid!
The second it was obvious the officers were the problem he should have taken up everyone who didn't like their shittiness or piss poor management and formed a new guild -- it sounds that could be a real thing that could have happened instead of falling for their power play bullshit.
That last story sounds like if a Karen played WoW.
One day Survival hunter is going to haunt you Preach.
One day.
In about 300 years.
1% find Torghast WHERE is it MATE. I'm in tears
The beginning of the end.
Turbo Alpha chad big bro saving rainbow from the wrath of Cain
That first story... I wonder why they delayed shadowlands... My paladin couldn't get the ability from night fay because the quest broke...
and so the time has come again to ask about the legacy of the DK
