Ummmm hello? People make a living doing this as Audiobook narrator's. Preach is funny yeah and does well with these, but have you even heard of michael kramer, kate Reading, or Jeff Hays? Pretty great as well
How he nails the emotions of the character while also ironically making fun of them in the same stroke while reading the story is something I’ll never know
Look, as someone who has been off and on this WoW crack ride for over a decade, "we don't bring the Devil into this house" isn't actually THAT far off.
As a Roman Catholic I can tell you that this is extraordinary Protestant thinking. Jahova's Witness and Baptist level nonsense. It just sucks that people think Christians are one big group.

2 days, 3 hours each. And I wish we went down to 1 day because It's boring and tiresome to be the top DPS and coming to a whole raid for just one or two items that you know will never drop since you're out of luck. The worst part is that I can't even switch to my alt for that because "ur top DPS bruh, we need you".

Yo Preach I"m a yank from Texas and I must say how much I enjoy ur weekly show that blasts the bad guys for being just stupid and the few good guys on ur show!!!!! Thanks for being a staunch (er sorta) Brit! keep up the funny work ! a Texan from across the ole Pond :))
The first story makes me embarrassed for my gender. I've been playing for a while now, but I saw Taliesin not guide his brother through the starting area, and he had never played WoW before. Nevermind someone who played the have back when it was harder. I quit in TBC and came back in Legion and the only thing that messed me up was the collection menu, and the fact that cows could be Paladins.
The Was it worth it story reminds me of playing with my wife and why i don't play with her in this game. She does her pet battles and i do my raiding. :)
I returned about a year ago after a long lay-off and found many of the changes jarring. I can understand the struggles of the lady in the first story. I’ve since figured out most things.
I´ve done the new starter island, both alone and with friend and it´s absolutely amazing at teaching new players how to play the game. It holds your hands pretty much in everything, such as telling you to loot mobs if you forgot to do it, teaching you to put your spells on action bar and so on. It´s baffling to me how someone could see it as difficult. It´s day and night compared to previous new player experience.
Casual shouldn't equal shit at the game. You can play a game without making it your life and still be good at the game. Honestly, I feel like if you raid casually you should strive to be very good at your class given that people playing with you likely have giant time/life constraints and you being shit chews into their time. In my opinion, casual raiding should just mean you can't play hours a day everyday. So efficiency should be the goal, not just going into endgame content undergeared and unprepared.
For more data points on "casual mythic" guilds. They do exist. We get cutting edge every tier on 2 4 hour nights a week. We typically do take almost the whole tier to clear though.
I hate Death Knights. I rolled one when they arrived back in the day. I finally got him out of the starting area then leveled him up. That alone took years, it was so boring. I finally got the grim little twat to max level, years have passed. I can say with my hand on my heart, I absolutely and totally hate playing DK. I kid you not, all those years, no exaggeration; hated everything, every minute. I tried to get into it, I tried, I really did. I've got at least one of everything and had to do the DK to complete the full set. I leveled every class from 1 to 120. I didn't like monk much but the DK was the worst.
First story, if you could make it inot a picture, would be the perfect example of the "bullet dodged" meme. Edit: I guess I should have listened to the end of the story. Lol, no it's not worth it. Seriously, only misery awaits. Especially if your goal is located inside their pants, just imagine if some accident happens and you are now forever bound to that crazy wreck! The guy was lucky and didn't just get a smal glimpse of the real person, he saw the full eldritch horror awaiting him. There are better ones out there, even for nerds :p
There is no way that first story is real. Nobody can be that stupid. I could believe almost some of it until they said she didn't know how to zoom out. The only thing less believable would be if they said she didn't know you could look around using the mouse.
30min? 3h A WEEK?!?! I play FF XIV and my team does 3 days each 3h O_O. (and like Preach after we get it on farm mode its like 1 day per week for 1/2 months). WoW Casuals... tsc tsc tsc
Preach doesn't realize that causals ONLY play during the raid days, no extra time, no farming, no alts, no M+. Try that and still be top Mythic raider.
Preach's ability to read stories and make them entertaining is almost unnatural.
Is it possible to learn this power?
He's been doing this for a lot of years now so yeah he got some skill after the hundreds of stories he read
Ummmm hello? People make a living doing this as Audiobook narrator's. Preach is funny yeah and does well with these, but have you even heard of michael kramer, kate Reading, or Jeff Hays? Pretty great as well

“A child’s escape room puzzle”....so Mike went to a IRL LFR.
how dare you insult children escape room puzzles to LFR

Look, as someone who has been off and on this WoW crack ride for over a decade, "we don't bring the Devil into this house" isn't actually THAT far off.

It's pretty spot on actually. WoW is a horsemen of utter decadence of the human spirit into a Hollowed shell of your former self.
The Bible Belt devil stuff is so true lol. I had friends who weren’t allowed to watch Harry Potter because it made witchcraft look cool 😂

To be fair to her, adult non-gamers pick up gaming way slower than kids do, most of the time. All I judge her for is her random anger.

Ahhhh yes watching this 7 months into 9.0 and hearing how bad fire mages and holy pallies are during prepatch...
One thing I learned is to never tell a healer they are doing anything wrong. You will no longer receive anymore healing. Healers are petty AF.
That casual guild was more like an intelligence agency.

For the first story, Preach only wants you to do it again just so you can write a follow-up and thus he has more content lol
As a Main Tank, I almost smashed my keyboard while hearing this lmao
Anyone else playing prepatch on an older pc that was running wow just fine before pre patch and now it barely runs the game and is slow as hell?
Blizz have done a graphics overhaul in preparation for the new content. New system requirements have come in.
Graphics overhaul and idk if they kept the requirement or made it a highly recommended, you *need* an SSD to play it
Anyone know where I can find the video he mentions at the start? The mythic plus race between preach and fin? Or is it still to be uploaded?
I raid 2 days a week 4 hours every night. It's a weekend thing so it works out. The other team goes 3 days a week for the same total hours.

The first story is literally what I deal with everyday working at Verizon.
