Funny thing, as a sole proprietor he is exempt from OSHA, i.e. OSHA exists to protect employees of a company. But I agree that barefoot chainsaw work is sketchy at best.
This makes me so happy. It feels like an imagined dream fulfilled. From backyard fun to a full blown business. Congratulations Seth, im so excited for the rest of the journey.
The perfect piano notes matching each of your tires transferring from one skinny to another at 27:27 was such a lovely piece of editing. Was so pumped to see a new video and it was so cool to watch!
Absolutely fantastic news about going pro’ - you’ve been working so hard at this since the outset and it’s been a pleasure riding along… very best wishes for the new step up.
Kind of bittersweet to see the channel name changing, but it's awesome to see you progressing with your company! Sick skills park. Wish I had anything like that near me in mid-michigan lol. Excited for the new projects coming up!
Dude, you have got to start wearing boots when doing these builds. Doing it barefoot is insane and you’re one dropped post, or one stepped on nail, away from being laid up for a long time.
My local trail! Honored to have Seth build these awesome features at Bogue Chito State Park! Was part of the crew for the final finish up weekends! Andddd we ride the hell out of it!
I just paused 3 and a half minutes in to instantly like and subscribe and then went to the comments. Your comment couldn't have hit it more on the nose for me and I'm only 3 and a half minutes in lol! Gonna go finish watchin this cool channel I just found! And then gonna go see what he's dropped previous!
Running a chainsaw barefoot? Bold move! Speaking as someone who's personally tested the 'chainsaw-to-leg' experience, I can confirm: steel-toed boots would have been cheaper than the hospital bill! Love the trail work. Be safe 🙏
You have inspired me! (hello from Australia)... I am helping in my hometown part time for other reasons, but while I am here I started helping with the local MTB Park (mostly XC trails). And cleared some trails that haven't been cleared in a while, refurbed some berms, made a flow trail really flow again... and now because of watching your channel, I've been inspired to make my first wooden feature!! ha ha doing a small whale tail on a flat space on far end of the Boundary trail (where no-one would suspect a feature would come up!)... the trails only have a couple of ladder bridges over rocks/ledges... so this will be the first real stand alone wooden feature! thanks for the inspiration
I've been subscribed and I love watching these videos. I've always wanted a bike trail and never found the money nor the time to make one. Keep up the good work and Backyard Trail Builds will always be in my heart!
I’m so happy for you and your channel!! Kansas City has around 300 miles of volunteer built single track but we could definitely use some more wood features!
Congratulations Seth for formalizing the HUUUUGE success you achieved on this channel!!! The new channel name is brilliant! I'm sooo excited to see more of your ideas come to life in the future! I've learned a lot from watching you build over the last couple of years and I started budiling trails by following your examples. Good luck in the future!!!
Congratulations on the future projects 👍🔨🪚🪵🚵🏻♂️ I remember one of your older videos where your built a lunge chair and would convert into a jump. You’ve come a long way. I’ve enjoyed watching the progress 👍
This is such a sick skills park! Wish I had access to such a mix of skinnies and teeter totters! Glad to see you were able to take some features from your own back yard into the public 🤙
I follow your channel since the beginning, watching every episode since then show how much you learned and evolve building trails. We can see how much you love doing it and that was what made your channel grow so much! Congratulations!! I hope someday you’d come to Brazil for another big project 🙏🏻
I helped build the asphalt pump track in the background. Where you built is where we would take lunch break. I need to get back down there and check out the entire park
Love the builds! You inspired me to build a few little features at our old house my 2 sons and I loved it. I look forward to see what you have coming in the future.
Great to see you’re doing well! Wow! Going big time pro now. I’ll always appreciate your early work because you got me into trail building. Let me know if you’re coming to the Lake Lure area.
Awesome, how good is it to see you building again. Hopefully I will use some of the ideas . I am on small acreage and have already started a trail. Anyway, as many have already commented. Safety was not on show. Oh that temp is standard here in summer with humidity around the 80-90%. Thanks again from Brisbane Queensland Australia. Big Al.
This is bittersweet, On one hand I am so stoked for your growth. On the other hand, I loved all your back yard builds. Keep it up bud. One day when I own property I would love to invite you to build on it.
Great job the park looks awesome! Having watched your channel from early on it’s cool to see the progress. You’re making not to mention now having the opportunity to have one of your builds in one of our backyards is gonna be amazing!
Great video!...sometimes i sit in my office chair, in front of my boring work and day dream of doing something like this for a living! it must be great to see the things you dream up come to fruition, Keep up the good work!
I love your channel dude. It’s so cool to watch your process and you explain things so well. You’re living the dream and I am so stoked every time you guys drop a video. Keep it up and keep bringing us along for the ride! 🖤
Congrats Seth! Amazing build. You have grown so much. Thanks for the content and what you do for the cycling community. Heres to your continued success in 2025!
So happy to hear about these big things coming! I've been watching for years and love how much things have grown. One of the few channels I have notifications on for because I love watching everything that comes out. Do you still have your chickens?
This is my local trail, love the features man. Thanks for building this!! Also love that you’ve put together this video to see the entire build!! Great work man!
I’ve been here since the beginning and you’ve come so far. We have a wooden roller built from the pump track plans that you gave out to patrons back in the day. The radiuses look a lot better now 😅
Crazy project! And you handled it like a pro and delivered!! Only one month! I’m impressed!! You just got me to subscribe with this one! Hopefully we will meet at my cottage when you will come build a small mtb park 😊
Congrats on the progression and growth of your company! Truly amazing! Hopefully one day you can build some features down where the TrioBehindBars lives (luckily I live there too, lol).
im definitely gunna have to go back to your first video and start from there. this was freaking cool. was thinking bout a electric skateboard but screw that i want a mt bike
Watching projects like this makes me understand why people do demos of "this cordless can sink a 5'' screw 10secs quicker" because that after 5000 screws is massive.
That looks like great fun. Would love one of these in my area in the UK :-) Maybe you should take a short trip over the pond. Love the channel, looking forward to the new content.
I had no idea you had built these when I rode them this christmas, but I should have known! They were so fun and unique! Also, I am proud to say I got the most right expert line my first try! Definitely was a proper challenge. Subbed to hopefully win a backyard trail build
Great video! Always look forward to seeing them and I’m looking forward to them being regular again with your new partner! Looking forward to your random award backyard builds too!
America needs more of this! Nothing wrong with some good old outdoor adventures! Nothing but good time's and making memories! That's what life is all about! Right? 💯
From a dude building trails in his back yard, to a dude building features for professional trail builders, to a professional trail builder yourself. Its such a great story! Sad to see the channel name change, but it means bigger and better things are on the horizon!
I love your content, long time fan. These are huge moves in a positive direction to awesome videos Keep up the good work! Also love the music. When did you discover Sam Fender? He’s big in the UK where I’m from
OSHA inspectors be having a field day with those chainsawing barefoot clips.
Came here looking for that comment haha
Full-face helmet for safety
Funny thing, as a sole proprietor he is exempt from OSHA, i.e. OSHA exists to protect employees of a company. But I agree that barefoot chainsaw work is sketchy at best.
@@robadair didnt know this... I shoulda went barefoot more often. haha
@robadair he won't be exempt from missing his toes if something goes wrong
Looks like "I Did A Thing" has a new challenger for barefoot safety violations!! Great build bro, you're so good at this
This makes me so happy. It feels like an imagined dream fulfilled. From backyard fun to a full blown business. Congratulations Seth, im so excited for the rest of the journey.
Having a King Gizzard song as background music to building a MTB trail is something I would've never expected someone to do.
these are the only type of videos i will watch all the way through no matter what
YOU ARE THE MAN! You inspired me to start building trails in my own backyard. So cool to see all the work you have put in come to fruition!
Love seeing the skinny train stop make it into another build! It’s such a fun and weird feature. Beautiful build!

Yeah, barefoot chainsaw ing isn’t an Olympic sport. Wear boots, protect your piggies.
Great advice as per usual nosferatu
Ah Gen Z
@ God forbid someone is concerned about their safety!
100%
My local trail! Honored to have Seth build these awesome features at Bogue Chito State Park! Was part of the crew for the final finish up weekends! Andddd we ride the hell out of it!
ever do the towyr?? insane local trail
Don't ride mountain bikes. Don't care about mountain bikes. Don't build trails. Don't ride trails. But hot damn do i love this channel!
i love you!
I just paused 3 and a half minutes in to instantly like and subscribe and then went to the comments. Your comment couldn't have hit it more on the nose for me and I'm only 3 and a half minutes in lol! Gonna go finish watchin this cool channel I just found! Great Build! I’m looking forward to the other video documenting the larger feature . Congratulations on your new name and business venture!!!!
You inspired me to build my own MTB trails and now I have a tone of trails on our property, and I’m working on one right now, thanks for the vids.
Running a chainsaw barefoot? Bold move! Speaking as someone who's personally tested the 'chainsaw-to-leg' experience, I can confirm: steel-toed boots would have been cheaper than the hospital bill! Love the trail work. Be safe 🙏
This is a sick video! I love your channel so much, you seem like a great person! I've been following for about five years :)
it is downright criminal that TH-cam hid this from me for 6 minutes
Lucky they hid for 1 day for me
I just got it now 5 days late. Better than never I guess
I just found this channel! Glad it popped up.
@Cheesypanda35 they hid it a whole week from me☹️
7 days late😭

I downloaded TH-cam again on my TV just to watch this, and stoked I did. Whole family was captivated, thanks man!
I've been subscribed and I love watching these videos. I've always wanted a bike trail and never found the money nor the time to make one. Keep up the good work and Backyard Trail Builds will always be in my heart!
Congrats and good luck Seth, can't wait to see what you build in the future - some of those drawings you showed look insane.
Congrats Seth! It’s been so cool to see your successes over the years!! Keep building epic stuff and hyped for more content! Also, hi Endo!
I’m so happy for you and your channel!! Kansas City has around 300 miles of volunteer built single track but we could definitely use some more wood features!
I don’t even ride bikes. But I love this guy and his channel.
im with you on that :)
Been watching you for a long time, Seth!
Glad to see you have overcome so many challenges to do what you’re really good at. So inspiring!
Congratulations Seth for formalizing the HUUUUGE success you achieved on this channel!!! The new channel name is brilliant!

Love that your brand just keeps progressing my man! Love your builds and vibe!

Haven’t watched this channel is years, mostly because I stopped biking. It’s crazy to see how much bigger the channel has gotten 🤯
Love the builds! You inspired me to build a few little features at our old house my 2 sons and I loved it. I look forward to see what you have coming in the future.
Great to see you’re doing well! Wow! Going big time pro now. I’ll always appreciate your early work because you got me into trail building. Let me know if you’re coming to the Lake Lure area.
the trail where bike front and rear wheel goes own way how do you would be able to do it with smaler or bikker bike?
But it was cool still!
I always appreciate your montage and background music
Awesome, how good is it to see you building again. Hopefully I will use some of the ideas . I am on small acreage and have already started a trail. Anyway, as many have already commented. Safety was not on show. Oh that temp is standard here in summer with humidity around the 80-90%.

Big Al.

You my friend are a one Man army and that was very nice of you to do a job all by yourself practically . Epic video 💯👋☝️😎💪👍😊
This is bittersweet, On one hand I am so stoked for your growth. On the other hand, I loved all your back yard builds. Keep it up bud. One day when I own property I would love to invite you to build on it.

So awesome! My husband would LOVE a backyard build by you 😊
Love the "ribbon" cutting ceremony at the end, that was perfect!

Insane!! You had so much to do after I left 😂 looks amazing!
Damn, this is sick! Would love to have some features like this in my backyard. Love the channel, excited to see what's next 🤟

Stoked to see you progressing Seth! So excited to see what you do next!!! Hopefully a bike park in my backyard 👀
Is it weird I was thinking about you the other day?! I was riding a trail that needed a feature so there is that...sweet ass build!
9:53 You’ve got some big stones to operate a chainsaw barefoot. 😂
Only 226k subs? This stuff is underrated.
Good job man!
Great work. Love the feature circling the tree.
From a dude building trails in his back yard, to a dude building features for professional trail builders, to a professional trail builder yourself. Its such a great story! Sad to see the channel name change, but it means bigger and better things are on the horizon!
Rigamortis was such a good surprise of music choice 🔥
You are such a craftsmen. I love your content.
Super pumped for the subscriber backyard builds! Flagstaff is waiting for you! Come on over!
So good! Congratulations, well deserved
i love the kendrick song at 17:50

Love the videos. I've been wanting to get into mountain biking, but all I have is a cheap Walmart mountain bike.
