Sure! If you just click one of the paddle shifters on the backside of the steering wheel, then it will go into manual mode. Note, however, that unless you have an AMG, there is no permanent manual mode. If you don't click any of the paddles for a short period of time, it will automatically go back into regular, automatic mode. What year/model mercedes do you have?
The play in the stick is to shift up and down. Next to the stick, there should be + and - .....the plus sign means shift up and minus means shift down. I'm not to familiar on that, but I think that's how it works.
You realized the button you pushed for LED running lights is not that at all - it is for the rear fog light. I assume you are one of those guys that drives around with the rear fog on for no reason blinding people.
Calentha henry Yes, on the driver's door handle, there should be a small black square. Point the key towards that and hold down the unlock button to open the sunroof and windows.....Hold down the lock button to close them
Also that is not fake wood google it it is three different types of wood but it is real wood the reason its like that (plastic) is because crash test regulations.

Craig Burroughs yes...at 5:25, you can see that I'm in the settings menu... in one of those categories (I believe "vehicle") there is an option for an acoustic lock sound. You can enable or disable it. I hope this helps!

By the way, the led lights are the daytime running lights.
If u push the clear button down for about 5 seconds navigation system will turn on, I love my c300 !!!!

bigb9854 I do not have paddle shifters in my model I have the 2011 c300 4matic I have play in the stick itself that does something weird.
