If it's a simple four-on-the-floor, I just use a Fruity Love Filter preset. Basically, it's a free version of Kickstart without the bells and whistles.
in method 2, instead of lowering the kick's volume, you can type "0.5" instead of "1" into the Fruity Peak Controller. This way you can also play around with the volume knob, if needed.
i would avoid side chaing use fruity eq it can cause phasing problems if you dont know what you're doing and even if you do you there a way better way to side chain and yes this is done using Fl stock plug-in know as frequency spliter and it's even better than using eq to side chain because it allows you to send your 3 frequency bands to separate mixing tracks and it allows you to side chain each band separately and then you can rout the 3 send tracks to a buss to glue it all togather very very powerful plug-in in and its not common knowledge for producers\mxing engineers but im telling you it really is one of the most over looked plug-in in fl stock plug-in list
I think the sound of the sidechain does bleed a little bit into the compressed channel. You can hear this if you pan the compressed channel all the way to the left/right. Am I right ?
The side chaining function is confusing with the Waves equator plugin through fl studio!? Anyway you can make a tutorial on how to properly side chain using the equator? I cannot seem to find any tutorials on it!
can you help me when i side chain my signal did not get shown for example if i side chain my vocal channel 1 to delay channel 2 signal dont go to channel 2
For some reason, my 808 in eq goes all the way up after it ducks down from a kick, making the 808 too loud. I tried turning every know in peal controller but I can't figure it out.
How do you do this for multiple inputs? Say I want my vocals, bass, and synth to duck with the kick, how do I do that? I've tried multiple things but each new sidechain event seems to cancel out the last.
Honestly FL Studio is so fucking bad. You literally just turn a knob in ableton to side chain and it always seems to sound better. Trying to sound chain on this mess of a DAW is a joke
What is your favorite way of sidechaining? 🤔
Use fruity limiter...sidechain my favorite
Peak controller

1st
Kickstart
this is the best explanation for sidechain in FL.
The first you tube subscription that is actually worth it.
Thank you so much, that means a lot ❤️
Bro you’re so clutch and straight to the point 🤝
The EQ technique is the best! Thanks so much!
You're welcome!
By far the best sidechaining tutorial video I have ever watched in the last 8 years. Thank you!!
how you make music for 8 years and dont know how to sidechain i should probly give up this music shit lol😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂@@caasi_boy
I had no idea you did FL Studio tutorials too. I learned a lot from your premiere basics channel

it was really clear, appreciate it !
Can you make a video with options for sidechaining vocals to a beat?
Trackspacer, pro eq3 & soothe2 can be good for that
Such a nice tutorials brother! Keep them comming ur doing awesome job for all of us
Thanks man! Means a lot to me! ❤️
Yo man can you make a tutorial about the 808 slides you do in your trap beats at 140bpm
I want to know to do that too fr.
@@7sneves i think instead of putting the slide on the same line as when the 808 underneath starts to play he moves the slide to the right
I love your explanation, just so simple, specific and understanding fr
The fact that I just understand at once is 🔥 you’re good
I’m obsessed with sidechain on pads!
Thank you for this!
make vid for sidechaining kick in full drum loop for dnb
very informational i will have to practice doing these to my unfinished beats sometime

Make a video on it
Can you edit everything you said? Spell check and proper punctuation would be nice sir. I'm old and you got my head spinning...😵💫😵💫😵💫
I just tried this, its extremely Helpful
Check out some of my tracks from scratch to learn how to make sounds using FL stock vst
Like aureus and hamor
peak controller sidechain is the avicii OG way. love it haha

LEVEL 2 VERY USE FULL... THANKS YOU SO MUCH...

just what i was looking for:)
you have excellent quality in your videos
I appreciate that! Thank you so much!
Why do others say turn the knee knob all the way up, and not the ratio
can you help me when i side chain my signal did not get shown for example if i side chain my vocal channel 1 to delay channel 2 signal dont go to channel 2
Can I have a link to your theme and wallpaper please?
For some reason, my 808 in eq goes all the way up after it ducks down from a kick, making the 808 too loud. I tried turning every know in peal controller but I can't figure it out.
Can you do both of methods to make it hit even harder
How do you do this for multiple inputs? Say I want my vocals, bass, and synth to duck with the kick, how do I do that? I've tried multiple things but each new sidechain event seems to cancel out the last.
just love it
if you use a sub bass in the track an 808 and kick which do you sidechain
I have kick as a part of a drumkit like fpc so I cant isolate kick to a separate track... how do I do it then?
click on a note of the kick in the beginning of the piano roll, consolidate it and drag it to the channel rack
You gotta raise the threshold on the limiter and lower the attack on the limiter side or u will get phasing issues my guy
thanks goat
i followed the intructions, but the band only ducks once, not multiple times like yours. what did i do wrong?
super helpful refresher 🙌🏼
Thanks ❤🎉
Love it
second method clutch 👍
I use kick vst by cable guy or shaper box 3
this is so useful
Thanks dude
that was so helpfull to me
You don't have to do this. You can just cut off some of the attack on the 808.
gigs?
thank you!!!
You can also use multiband compressor or sooth. Sooth is expensive but powerfull!
You can also use automation clip 🤣
The stress in the word 'Andromeda' is on - dro - instead of -me- .
0:54 did i just hear a zayah moan in the beat
get TDR Nova
good vid but i would suggest using and showing shortcuts instead of relabeling everything. it helps workflow imo
i use midi for sidechaining these days no cap
You so genial i swear 😂😂😂 my favorite iz the 2nd
i have like 30 tracks am i supposed to sidechain every track? id rather just delete the entire project than do that lmao
ty :)
Isn't this guy from premiere basics
love you
Your camera quality is 4 dimensional :)
Nice
goat
Let me first say that this is a top tier A1 tutorial. Big Thanks. But i also wanna say...the way u pronounced Andromeda hurt my ears.

Fanboy alert!
FL is GodLike easy. Imagine saying "Im better because I do less". 😂😂😂
You just have to do three things, smooth brain.
why would anybody use 808 samples from a sound pack when you can just create your own in Sytrus?
Thanks !!!
