- A first-person perspective London walk tour through the Liberty London Regent Street department store, housed in a striking, timber-framed Tudor revival building with the main entrance on Great Marlborough Street, which opened in 1875 and is spread over several floors - with the tour covering them all and includes a look at designer fashions, fabric prints, jewellery, homeware, beauty, and the Mini British Food Hall.

I know a lot of people shop online including me, but walking around a nice store, stopping for coffee, and buying what you came for is still a nice experience.
The store's facade is amazing, whats equally amazing is the wood floors throughout the store.
It was so pleasing to revisit the beautiful, busy store I visited in person in November 2000. I pray I return to do it again, better.

Thanks WW for a detailed view of Liberty department store. I did not even know there is one such unique heritage store. It is like going back 100 years. The tudor building certainly has character in and out. I am not a shopping man, but liked the ambience and heritage. Regards

Liberty & Co sure looks so different than it did when we went in it back in 1985. Yes I know that was a long time ago. But the store now seems to be just another typical London dept store. Back in 1985, I seem to remember the store being a little more of an upper end store. A store with more traditional English clothing. Now it looks like walking through a Wal Mart.
