    Regent Street truly looks so London. I could spend 2 days of holiday there. I may skip the gentleman's restroom. Not very appetizing. However, great history. So beautiful. Amazing architectural design. I love St Christophers place, Market Hall, and the Crypt the best. I love the quaint little shops. What I really love is the beautiful fresh flowers along the windows, doors, and edges of the buildings. Such a wonderful touch. I prefer going into a café or a nice quaint restaurant rather a food court. Our air ports in the US are all food courts and that is great for air ports. I love to relax and take in the scenery. Not thrilled with Soho. Fantastic video. As always, you narrate detailed so those of us who do not live there can know the history of the areas. Marble Arch is beautiful. Grovers Square has amazing history - many strategies and diplomacy baselined there. I would just LOVE to visit the John Adams house. Thank you for posting that one. What a time! LOL This video was a real treat!! Thank you. Blessings.

      Thanks so much Luana, so pleased you enjoyed it. The food court places are fairly new as a concept here so still that novelty value :) Like you a cafe tucked away is an absolute beauty and just a relaxing place to go to :)

      @@LondonVisited I will say that I think the food courts are great for the kids and teens. They love the variety and can meet out with their peers. Food courts are great for that as well.

    Thanks for the tour. So glad you mentioned Mount Street Gardens! Wonderful place to recharge for the next round. My all time favourite bit of Victorian architectural excess is just off Oxford Street. All Saints Church, Margaret Street. Incredible.

    Great video. Not sure about a family 'where everybody is happy' is a logistical possibility though.

    Great fun, interesting video 📹👍😀. I would love to go 🚶to Mercato it looks so beautiful 😍😊😀. You couldn't get me into the Attendant for anything. It doesn't matter how clean it is, I just couldn't get away from it's origin. It would just be 😝. Market Place also looks a great place to go 🚶😀. Carnaby Street just doesn't grab 🤔😑😐😕😒 me. I don't think you can unsee it from the 60's. It is so much smaller than you think. I just see Twiggy. I love seeing the alleyways as you can find so much interesting things. Though one you showed (Kingsley Court ?) had such a small entrance. Mayfair is just something else and I would love to live in a mews house 🏠, I just can't afford it 😫😢😭😩😔 right now. Grosvenor Square is such a beautiful area, with Berkeley Square as a beautiful park. Soho is just so much nicer, than it used to be. There are a lot of interesting little areas that you showed on the video 📹😀😄. It's amazing how close these places are to the main streets of London are. I would love to go completely crazy 🤪😜 in Hamleys. I would probably buy half the store. Really great video 📹👍👏 as always.

      Lesley thanks so much for watching and commenting as always and loving the emojis :) Yes some of it appeals and other bits not, but the change in Soho has been incredibly positive, thankfully :)

    Do you have a suggestion of someone who does private tours of places that are off the beaten path as it were. We will be there soon for our vacation and want to see some really different hidden gems. Thanks for the info on this video.

    We’re coming at the end of March! How’s the weather then?

    • @LondonVisited
      @LondonVisited  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you look at all the averages it will say lovely spring weather but until closer to the time you just can't tell - but spring will be in bloom across central London so a great time to come! :)

    Is Oxford street safe to walk at night? I’m taking the bus and the stop is at marble arch. I’m staying at the Marriott Grosvenor

      Hi there, that sounds great to stay there, right in the heart of it all. In London at night it is just about being streetwise when walking around and not too flashy etc. I do it all the time. Hope that helps :)
