I double checked the specs of the Kingston KC1000 480GB (not 512GB) and the TBW is 550TB (not 2000 TBW), I guess I was dreaming. Sorry about that and the use on mine is 23 TBW and it is 98% Drive life remaining, sorry about my inaccuracies. Another thng if I use the drive the same way it will last a total of 155.4 years, I doubt it but that is what the math says...

Nvidia new 50 series are right around the corner. I'm going to wait for that. My gaming PC is a decade old now. Unfortunately, it won't be able to run Monster Hunter Wilds... So I have no choice. Time to upgrade.
What is "studio"? Like digital art or photography? Audio? I've always been in to audio, it's what got me to buy a computer when I was young to get away from DAT recorders... Audio doesn't really need a powerful PC, but I guess digital art does. Not really my cup of tea though.

Hi br.m, a 50 series nVIDIA that will be a very nice graphis card. Ten year old computer, that is great that you could use it that long, great value. I really like audio also, I have an old JVC discrete componet system about 25 years old and still sounds great. I blew out a tweeter on my AR speaker once about 20 years ago replaced it and learned my lesson. A studio is "Wikipedia's description: A studio is an artist or worker's workroom. This can be for the purpose of acting, architecture, painting, pottery (ceramics), sculpture, origami, woodworking, scrapbooking, photography, graphic design, filmmaking, animation, industrial design, radio or television production broadcasting or the making of music and financial services administration. The term is also used for the workroom of dancers, often specified to dance studio." Have a great time building you new computer and I hope it lasts you as long as your last one.
