    Thanks for the video, how does this differ from the 06D model (Carlyle 06DF3282BA3200)?

    Hello mister, how to replace main bearing crankshaft. Thx for your attention.

      Thank you for reaching out. Doing on onsite repair, your best bet for taking main bearings out for the casting would be to use a bearing puller. But, like whenever you take a bearing out of a bore, make sure you do not damage the casting.

    How to change oil that compressor do you have a vedeo to how to change oil

      On this model compressor there is a plug in the bottom pan that you can pull to help drain. To fill it, on the front of the compressor next to the oil pump there is a port that you can charge the compressor.

    What the best way to pull the valve guide pins?

    • @NationalCompressorExchangeInc

      Hi Nick, our first recommendation is to not pull the pins. If your doing a valve plate change in the field and the pins look good, then use the old pins. Reason we would make that suggestion is if you crack a pin or sheer it off, it is going to be severely difficult to repair that and you will probably end up having to remove the compressor. if the pin is damaged from removing the head and not sheered off and you would like to give it a try then we would suggest a good set of plyers or end nippers. Make sure you get right up against the casting and do not squeeze to hard and snap the pin.

    Sir thank you for this video. I have a question
    I have a Carrier 06E hot gas bypass valve compressor, if I replace it with a suction cut off valve head and plate can i use it ?

      I'm not with Carlyle or Carrier, so take what I say with a grain of salt. That being said, I do have some experience with Carlyle, although it is primarily with their medium and low temperature compressors. I would say that you could replace hot gas unloading with suction cutoff because all the operating parts for the unloading system are inside the head assembly. If you replace the head assembly and use the correct gaskets, I don't see why that wouldn't work. The only thing I would be aware of is making sure the valves on the valve plate seat. I have had trouble getting the discharge valves to seat when I've replaced valve plates on Carlyles.

      @@VTdarkangel thank you for your attention. I think as you said, but I wanted to consult experienced masters before implementing it. I ordered the parts and will let you know the progress after testing. Best regards

    Good day...how to clean rusty inside the compressor ang mechanicals?? What kind of chemicals using to clean rusty...thanks

    • @NationalCompressorExchangeInc
      @NationalCompressorExchangeInc  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for reaching out! We use a chemical free process in our factory for rust removal. You should not find rust in a compressor that was operating unless it was left open to atmosphere for some time.

    Missing the left side flapper.

      It was stuck to the valve plate when it was pulled off. Its common and when a compressor in the field is being opened to be troubleshoot, it important to make sure nothing falls out, such as valve reeds sticking to the plate. If your changing the plate and have new parts ready to be installed then your good.

      @@NationalCompressorExchangeInc Another good tip, use 2 old or spare bolts, cut the heads off and place them in before removing the head. It will prevent shifting and snapping the pins. Also its a huge lifesaver placing everything back together. That first seal is a pain as it tends to knock the tension thing and flapper off.
