When you think about it, it makes sense why the Justice League of this Earth would be so cruel. According to DC, it is believed that a single thought of an opposite affect could create a world were that opposite becomes a reality. In short, this Earth was made to answer the question: "What if Superman turned evil." And as you can see from every event in this video, the effects of this Earth, to be sure the question is answered, is trying it's best to guarantee that question is answered, by making Superman grow continously more evil than before, along with the members of this Injustice League.
This story has been tackled in the comics before tho. Injustice isn't even really established in the modern dc continuity. Doesn't even have a world number. Wish they would properly crossover this story into mainline comics.

And you're completely forgetting about the fact that captain marvel beat up a monster who absorbed the entire justice league's power(including superman). And don't even get me started on when Black adam(shazam's equal in power) was able to dominate the entire superhero community, including martians and kryptonians.
Luther being the hero is a nice twist of fate. I don't know if it was his original design, but I like the concept that Luther isn't so much as evil as he's obsessed over the idea that having a man with limitless powers is a threat to humanity as a whole.
if I remember correctly, his primary source of conflict with superman is jealousy. Lex is a powerful and beloved businessman, among humans he is like a god, but when faced with someone who's godhood comes from real power rather than influence he becomes just another human in comparison.

God I love batman so much. I always have. He always stands for everything good in this world, despite him knowing more then anyone how cruel it truly is.

When you think about it, it makes sense why the Justice League of this Earth would be so cruel. According to DC, it is believed that a single thought of an opposite affect could create a world were that opposite becomes a reality. In short, this Earth was made to answer the question: "What if Superman turned evil." And as you can see from every event in this video, the effects of this Earth, to be sure the question is answered, is trying it's best to guarantee that question is answered, by making Superman grow continously more evil than before, along with the members of this Injustice League.
This story has been tackled in the comics before tho. Injustice isn't even really established in the modern dc continuity. Doesn't even have a world number. Wish they would properly crossover this story into mainline comics.
