😊 Hey guys! We created the Chase Car channel to give viewers a broad overview of the upcoming new cars from the top car manufacturers. We are huge fans of pickup trucks of all sizes: compact, mid-size and full-size trucks. So mostly, we will cover new upcoming trucks, but besides that, here you can find a lot of content about new sedans and SUVs too.
The Electric Vehicle wave sooner or later will become huge, so this type of content might appear on this channel from time to time. But as we are still on the way to becoming fully electrical, we mostly cover fossil cars from many amazing brands.

🏆Is the EV Push Purely Political? Yes/No?🤔
🔴EV Makers Don’t Want You To Know THE TRUTH About EVs Mileage Range 👉 th-cam.com/video/6c22WJ-e4mk/w-d-xo.html
Yes 👍
It was because it was being pushed upon the greater population by the "usual suspects", namely far left socialists and ham-handed government bureaucrats. They do not like when the general public makes decisions that work for themselves, individually. They are more interested in outcomes dictated by authority, so as not to have to be responsible for their own issues. Auto companies were sold a bad deal, and they're having to reverse course. It's why the decision to pursue Hybrids is now seen as a " better late than never" plan, and more sale-able to the public.
“Everybody’s got a plan until somebody gets punched in the face.”-Mike Tyson
Yes yes yes !
I have an EV and do not agree with your comment. Just read the owners manual and it does tell you all the features and driving habits that impact range. The issue is that few people with ICE or EV's read their owners manual. Published maximum range is the number people gravitate towards. Yes, you can get the published range, but may have to sacrifice comforts to get there.
We went back too gas and we love it ... hassle free again !!
The EPA should not be involved with cars at all. They should just be preventing people from dumping chemicals everywhere
No desire to buy a stupid EV
Yeah Elon is dumb
@@duderdude4831Elon is waking up because he’s seeing that not everyone wants an EV. He’s slashing prices on his cars.
Wait a minute....I Thought SMART CARS ARE GAS POWERED???? ha ha ha
I just put a brand new 5.7 V8 engine in my 2006 truck. I will do so again 10 or 20 years from now. Why? Because I am not going to allow these imbeciles to push their nonsense on me.
I will never buy a toy electric car. Mark my words. Never.
😱 You're gonna melt the North Pole and cause all the polar bears to fall into the ocean, raising the water level and flooding Brandon's 3 million dollar vacation home on the Chesapeake. AND what about all them carbon footprints you're gonna be tracking in on people's nice clean floors ? New energy car people think about these things...
My idea, my 2004 silverado has 429000 on origanal eng/trany. She runs s great but ill keep her going forever.
An EV could never go this far.
Very few people want to wait for hours and hours for their turn at broken slow chargers that will not work on cold days.
Where the hell is the endless supply of zero emission electricity and the grid to deliver it. The EV agenda requires magical thinking.
Some things don't make sense. Why didn't they wait until EVs were BETTER than gas cars before creating EV mandates? And why are we focused on our cars in regard to climate change? The biggest proponent of climate change is DIRTY UNREGULATED FOREIGN INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION AND POLLUTION. Our cars are NOT the problem when it comes to the climate change issue. Why are we obsessed with the minor issue of car emissions when the BIG POLLUTERS of the world seem to go unnoticed? Aren't we reading the news anymore?
They were under orders from their masters in the WEF. Oy vey.
Really it was because Tesla became so popular that government and other companies had to take action. The stupidity of predicting this market was using short term trends to predict long term trends.
I'm laughing at their superior intellect. 😂🤣😂
Yes to gas and diesel powered vehicles
You can't get all of what you want in one package. A 20 minute charging time will knacker the battery very quickly. EVs came about almost 200 years ago, but were replaced by combustion engines which worked so much better, so the technology isn't immature. Physics is physics, nothing has changed much apart from lots of fancy screens and bells and whistles. EVs are too volatile and it's just a matter of time before more people are killed. We just saw an EV fire on the M1 yesterday, car decimated.
Rationality and EVs don't go together.
Nothing like being forced to buy electric cars even though the technology isnt there.
Even if you want an EV, it makes no sense to buy new with EV depreciation so high. Buy a 2 year old EV and save 50%.
Half the cost for twice the trouble. I'll stick to my diesel car, and when I have to buy a new one it'll be either another diesel or a gas one.
With a battery you don't know the condition of. No thanks.
EVs are a scam and a joke. A very expensive joke.
Nope.
He'll never admit the truth.
EV's are total garbage!!!! CRAP!
They want us to go ev in Australia in the next few years. We have one million cars and can only import 4000 a year. Take 2500 years lol.
Hmmm. Someone has mislead you, Darryl. In 2023 the new vehicle sales figure was 1,216,780. (Biggest seller was Ford Ranger at 63,356 )
In January 2023 there were 21.2 million registered vehicles. There were a further 4.7 million caravans, trailers and plant and equipment (e.g.
construction equipment, tractors and agricultural equipment, all-terrain vehicles, forklifts, golf buggies, etc.)
On 31 Jan 2023:
Petrol-powered vehicles accounted for 68.7 per cent of registered vehicles (down from 70.0 per cent in 2022).
Diesel-powered vehicles accounted for 28.3 per cent of registered vehicles (up from 27.5 per cent in 2022)
BEVS accounted for 0.5% of registered vehicles (79,700)
HEVs accounted for 2.4% of registered vehicles (361,580)
Average age of vehicles was 11.0 years (up from 10.8 years in 2022)
I don’t want an ev
When will car companies face the fact that the car market is saturated?
50 Gs? That's all? Hell, I carry that around in my pocket. I suppose I could scrap putting 15% of my pay into my 401k (and rely on SS) that my company matches 60% and just put that money into an EV considering how well they dont depreciate....... I don't care how cheap they get, there's still too many negatives in 2024, especially in a pick up. Heavy as all with a gas engine and imagine the range in an EV truck when towing something, up a hill, on a windy day, in MIchigan in January. Maybe 2052
You can buy a nice reliable gas car for $27,000 and under.
EV’s… 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
My next door neighbor just bought an EV and had cable trenched out to her driveway.
So far, it hasn’t caught fire and burned down my Silverado 6.0🤞
It would be nice to see a full size PHEV pickup with a useable 75 mile range for commuting around town. When you have to go farther than that, say to another city, you don't have range anxiety because the ICE takes over.
Yes your sensible.
When cars go past my house at the time commuters need to leave to get to the city, it's ICE cars. You only see the EVs come out to play at off peak times, does this suggest EVs are short journey 2nd or "Sunday" cars?
Hybrids were always the intelligent direction.
ever since the Prius.
i own a 2011 diesel ford mondeo just hit 100K with no engine light,no need to upgrade from this
Ev’s suck. Let’s sit for 45 mins to go 40 miles. I something that will self combust.
they are a never ending clown show
Why didn't they build the nuclear plants first? If they did THEN EVs would evolve in that environment.
Send the loss bills to bidumb’s chicken house!
There’s no way, with current battery technology, that an all electric vehicle is practical for ANYTHING but short trips around town! The charge time is too long and the run time and distance is too short! The ONLY practical alternative to the gas powered vehicle is the hybrid, with an onboard generator to charge the batteries while driving. Then, long trips can be made with excellent gas mileage, up to 100 mpg. The electric only can be used while running around in town, and on long trips, the generator would be used when extra power is needed or when the batteries are getting low. Anyone who has two functioning brain cells can see this as the ONLY option with today’s technology. Hydrogen is a nice pipe dream, but no country in the world is set up for such a scheme. Just setting up the infrastructure would cost several young fortunes! We already have everything set up for gasoline.
Glen, I struggle to see value in hybrid vehicles. You take an ICE car and add a battery and a couple of electric motors, and what do you gain compared to the ICE car without the battery?
The battery has adds weight so when running on the Internal Combustion Engine you get fewer miles per gallon.
If the battery is charged by the motor, then you have power loss from having to drive a belt to turn an alternator.
If the battery is charged from an external charger, then you have the cost of the electricity (generated by coal, gas, wind etc and which has suffered transmission line losses on the way to your charger).
The alternator or charger will not be 100% efficient in turning the input power into electricity (2nd law of thermodynamics !)
The battery will not be 100% efficient in turning its electricity into motive power (2nd law of thermodynamics, again !)
I can't see any value in lugging around a battery as well a conventional engine.
I'll take the cheaper ICE version, thanks.
@@oldcynic6964 2 advantages are in heavy traffic there's no need to run the engine, and also in heavy traffic you're not producing fumes, so it sort of makes sense in congested cities, if you have at-home charging and almost never run the engine except for long trips.
I might buy a hybrid
😮I'm wondering if EV was monopolies by the WEST, would we be hearing all this pessimism...🤷
EV's = The Emperor's Clothes
Even at $50,000, any car at that price is too expensive when you factor insurance, fuel, maintenance and repair. In the case of EVs, you'll be replacing drive tires an average of 3 to 4 times as often because the tires are not designed to handle the heavier weight of an EV or the high off the line torque.
Im afraid he broke with reality long since
Let's really be honest here and say it's the people buying these cars evs r the real LOSERs ,insurance is through the roof
Hahahahaha. Hahahaha Hahaha!
Hahaha 😂😂😂
EV tech, not ready for the masses, it just doesn't work for the moment. So guess good second hand car prices shouldn't drop off that much for the short future.
HYBRID MAKES MORE SENSE .... RELIABILITY AND SELF GENERATING
To expensive, batteries very expensive, replacing tires, higher insurance, not enough trained techs, and
very few charging stations out West. Freezing weather they won't start, Charging in the garage
possible fires. They are not reliable. Hybrids maybe better.
When you say it's "still immature", you assume it will develop over time. I won't.
Besides that the power grid can't handle people running airconditioners in the summer.
So how do you want an EV with 10 Kw charger?
That is double than what my household consumes on electricity on a hot day.
My neighbor just bought a new Tesla but he doesn't park it in his garage, he parks it at the bottom of his driveway. I wonder why?
Why are they still wearing masks? It’s not a healthy thing to do????
Well, well, well!!!! The old dope came face to face with the truth!!!!!!
Prediction: Plug-in hybrids are the next loser. Nobody is going to plug in when you can gas-up. Yet, you are paying full price for another crappy performing car. Don't even get me started on the coming software glitches.
😂😂
What about all the people who die mining? What about all the pollution from mining? What about the fact that old battery components can’t go into landfills?
What about fossil fuels used to manufacture the batteries.
Clearly slow Joe has absolutely no idea what he is doing, where he is at anytime or even why or how he got there.
I presume this is not actually true, but wishful thinking. I’m sure it will come to this before too long and, if the USA scales back the EV craze, other countries like 🏴 England 🏴 will quickly follow suit.
It’s an election year!
Yeah bud, it is
Biden not so smart going electric
Would you put your children in one. They are not the future maybe some time in the future but not today,
Would you let your children stand outside a gas car in your garage with the engine running

HA HA HA, SO UTOPIA DID NOT WORK OUT SO WELL...TOUGH LUCK! 😁😁😆😆👍👍
electric good, battery powered bad
How long is your extension cord?
@@glenparker234 hydrogen, already proven to work but water does not sell for $60,000 like EV batteries and does not need replacing every five years

When the technology catches up to what it should be. you will all be driving EVs whether you like it or not. you will be forced to do so whether you like it or not also🤭

BS story. BS ev slowdown called in January, the yr just started.
EV sales are down?: 2021: 550,000, 2022: 918,500. 2023: 1.2 million
My ev full tank costs 30$, and it takes about the time it takes to eat lunch, broke peopl will always down what they can't afford. All points against EV goes for gas cars as well and if we're talking sqft for fuel storage, another battery smaller than a 5gal tank will get you another full tank. Polution, you say? Gas cars contaminane metals and make them not usable while 100% of EV can get ground back into raw materials.😂😂😂😂broke broke broke😂😂😂😂
I disagree
@kendalljones541 facrs are facts, disagree till the cows come home, I'm gonna go drive cross country in my EV for redicioulsy cheap while you ponder in disagreement. Good luck with that🤣
The technology is not there. BYDs next generation of 1,200 miles on hybrids is the future.
