Hi guys! Definitely it will be an expensive build. ;) Try to use hair dryer for eliminating leather dents, but be careful. Thank you for your work! Greetings from Kazakhstan. A70 supra owner.
As an owner of a 94 Supra TT 6 speed, painted yellow with the same cut hood, carbon fibre wing, and all Greddy body kit and much more. It pains me to see one in this condition. My ex and I rode in the Supra to the premiere of the movie! What a time to be alive! still have the Cali personalized plates 2 6y 4u
Glad to see a detail on a Getrag 6-Speed MK IV from the best TH-cam detailing channel! On a side note I've always loved the TRD 3000 hood and wing combo, they're super rare and go for BIG money separately!
The 2J’s have two CT12 turbos. Twin turbo means exact same size turbos. Bi turbo usually means two different size turbos (but not always). Compound Turbo means one smaller turbo helps spool a larger turbo. Hope that helps 👍
No, twin turbo doesn't always mean exact same size turbos. I will even give you an example. The final gen Mazda RX7 or FD, from the factory, used a sequential turbo system in which the larger turbocharger fed the smaller one.
@@crohns8263 sorry friend but I’ve been in the industry for literally decades, since I was 12. Aside from a couple of anomalous examples, this is exactly what they mean. What you are referencing is either mirroring turbos or VG~”variable geometry” turbos. Extremely rare now, let alone in the 80’s and 90’s.
The 2JZGTE had sequential turbos as they talked about earlier. One smaller for lower end and one larger that kicked in at 4000 rpm. Variable Geometry turbos are something different as previously mentioned. This involve variable vanes in the turbo that adjust to help with horsepower. Common among diesel engines and some high end manufacturers like Porsche.
Congratulations on reaching 1 Million Subscribers your hard work is a testament to that. Always look forward to your next video. The Supra is one of my favorite cars.❤
Twin turbo means an engine has two turbochargers, instead of one. The turbochargers work together to compress the air that mixes with fuel in the engine's combustion chamber. The extra air means the engine needs more fuel, which burns faster than in a normally aspirated engine, resulting in more power. Twin turbo engines can increase air and fuel intake almost double the amount of the same engine without a turbocharger. Twin turbo engines are often configured in two ways: parallel and sequential. In parallel configuration, the two turbochargers are identical or mirrored, and each processes half of the exhaust from a V engine through its own piping. The turbochargers can be the same size or different sizes. In most twin turbo technology, the two turbochargers are placed next to each other. Both turbochargers can deliver boost simultaneously under high rpm and loads.
That little lizard was SO CUTE! I swear this detailing channel gets all the little critters. And well done with 1 Million subs! You guys do great work and take a bow!
Very nice job on those carpets 🙂 You made it look easy. Best regards from a fan and car detailer in Norway. By the way, Congrats on 1 million subs. That`s like 1 seventh of the whole population of Norway. WOW!
Great fun, BEAUTIFUL car, perfectly prepared for the next journey he is heading for. And shoutout to RJ, well deserved! P.S.: Did I just see ONE MILLION SUBS 😳😱🤣?! CONGRATS👍!!
i just bought another supra last week that was sitting in a garage for like 10 years and sound performance is an an amazing shop. They tuned my first supra a couple years back
I've been using PURO as a household cleaner and absolutely love it. Takles grease like a champ and cleaning the top of my fridge was super easy compared to other products. I did originally buy PURO for my JETTA but had to try it on other things.
Good job guys! Recently subscribed when I realized I hadn't yet. For lugnuts... they often get moved around when people lose them while doing repair work. The rule is usually that four lugnuts is perfectly safe and 3 could be ok if there is no option to get the the parts store. (obviously this is likely not recommended by any safety company). From my limited understanding, the thought is that if you lose all lugnuts on one wheel that you can take one off of the other three to have enough to drive on the last one. So basically people lose them or steal them for other running cars. I would bet you will find a lot of cars running on three per wheel when they usually have four. If I missed anything feel free to make it right in the replies.
Best way to fix the seat indents is through an auto upholsterer, remove the leather and replace the sponge in the seats. There are leather repair specialists who do the impossible too if there is still some imperfections after the upholstery is done
To remove imprints from leather, heat the area with a heat gun or hair dryer, then massage it to lift the pressure marks. It doesn't always work perfectly, but it'll improve it at least. Loving the videos btw, I came over to watch the other Supra video and since I'm a huge JDM fan, you just gained a sub!
I belive that you can bring the leather dent up quit a bit, by leaving a rack of somekind soaked in fabric softner overnight. Fabricsoftner brings rubber and leather back to life. Its worth a try
The S2000 in the Fast & Furious most definitely...I had just got my S2000 in 2000 in Toronto and drive my S2000 to the " Fast & Furious " movie the AP1 was amazing 👏🏻
For imprints on leather, you would have to use heat and do not place heat on a specific place because you don't want to damage it, just circle it and be patient, and it will be lifting.
They’re call Anoles and we had some living in Cincinnati. The story is they were released there after someone brought the home from their Florida vacation. Winters are milder in sw Ohio. Don’t think they would survive in Cleveland
My favourite is a Toyota Supra thank you for cleaning the this is the second time I ever seen your channel with another Toyota Supra I love your channel❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
First of all, congrats on 1 million Subscribers! Nice Supra! The rear strut brace is a CUSCO brand (Japanese), that made suspension and suspension-related parts (for Subarus too).
After watching a couple of your Supra detailing vids, I think it's time to invest in some detailing goods and go give my 94 some love! I spent 3.5 years building it, and a proper detail was always in the plans but never got around to it!
Such a great video - what an iconic car! So cool to see you guys bringing these back to life. Super high quality videos, great content and educational! Well done gents - keep it up!
congrats on the 1m subs! you guys deserve it! great quality work as always! hopefully there would be a followup video on this supra after it has been rebuilt! :)
this is amazing, i love how this classic is still so cool and timeless. compared to what we see today this is perfect, and the custom one looks so damn awesome! cool detail as always
How much do you think it'd cost Alex to rebuild this Supra from the ground, up?
Dont forget to like & subscribe!
30K
A lot including the new hood w/ new headlights
From ground? Engine, Livery, parts maybe 30.000$
@@remycardarelli5252 Exactly my sentiments. This level of bonnet vandalism should be a crime against humanity.

What a transformation! Can’t thank you guys enough and excited to build this car the way it should be!! Amazing job on the Supra 🔥🔥🔥

really? didn't know it was rare.
Its automatic. Therefore it does not have a Getrag. Only manuals were Getrags.
Oops. Sorry. Now I just saw it's a manual. I'm going blind. Lol
Man this car at one point was very loved judging by the quality of the parts on it, glad to see it getting restored to its former glory.
