Love the tip about visualizing your staying in the width of your stance that’s brilliant! One question if in the backswing you are pressuring the lead leg wouldn’t that cause a reverse pivot?
Mark, nice lesson. I understand the head should not sway/move from the center stance (horozontally) but what about the head moving up and down vertically. Ok or not ok to lower the head with the downswing? Will
Hi Huy! Unfortunately it does not. The driver is a completely different animal than hitting a ball off the ground. This video should help th-cam.com/video/nMNwE2AZxEg/w-d-xo.html.
You're absolutely correct (For a right-handed golfer😉). The knees follow the toes and aren't designed for "shearing". As mentioned, if used properly the correct knee movement will keep a player centered. Thanks!
Don't talk so much about what we're not gong t do. in my experience the best teachers teach positive habits. Also, you mentioned "eliminated all the levers" without ever having mentioned what those levers might be. And Naples is a *retirement* community, not a retired community.
I know I move my head too much. This will help!
Thanks Rob! Glad I could help.
Great tip. Once I realized how much my head was moving, I focused on keeping my head still and immediately had more consistent contact.
Thanks Chris! It's definitely a game changer. Happy Holidays!
Finally got to watch a lefty teach me. (Iam a lefty)
Love it! Glad you enjoyed the video!

Thanks Christian! Not necessarily. This video will give you some context. th-cam.com/video/jKDs_Yyi0y0/w-d-xo.html

Thanks Wil! A little is ok. As you might remember Tiger would over do his a bit in the downswing.
Subscribed to your channel. Question about driver and lead foot pressure. Would you still use the thought of squished sponge?
Hi Archie! Thanks for the subscribe. No, the driver is it’s own animal. Weight will be more even to slightly on the trail foot.
If I keep my lead foot down, I may not have as long of back swing but I would have more torque. Wouldn't that create more distance?
Hi again Nojo! In theory yes but I always wait to see the actual result. I’ve been doing this a long time and have seen some crazy things 😂.
Is the sponge under the lead foot works for the driver too?

@@DurlandGolfSchoolNaples ok I totally respect that - will look at the driver swing tip- thank you so much :)
It's all in the left knee as you turn bend the left knee as needed to keep you centered .

Is this stack and tilt?
Hi Jacob! No it's not. It's based around 3D information / research and the most efficient way to swing the golf club.

Thanks Phil! I appreciate your feedback. I’m far from perfect but always working towards getting better.
