    ⛳️ Golf Teaching Philosophy:
Mark has extensive experience teaching a variety of golf students including top professional golfers to first-time golf beginners. He teaches both male and female golf students, junior and senior golfers, and is also qualified in teaching golfers with disabilities or special needs. He understands that students are all different and have to be taught as individuals.
A proponent of proper impact fundamentals, Mark, bases his communication with students on simplicity. He is constantly searching for new ways to downsize the golf swing and its components for his students. His instruction includes the latest in technology and a variety of drills that help students make the appropriate changes to their golf swing. The technology assists in diagnosis and giving feedback on each swing, while the drills help students to retrain their motor pattern.
Mark believes that the game of golf is as hard as we make it. Students have access to more information than ever through the internet, portable devices with swing capture, TH-cam, etc.... If we continue to overanalyze our golf swing further confusion is inevitable. This confusion leads to doubt. Once doubt enters into the equation and our confidence is damaged, the game has won.
Mark teaches that a golf swing starts with practical fundamentals to fit a student’s particular pattern. Since using TrackMan his focus has turned to helping students create proper impact alignments. He prefers to use the swing each student possesses if it is functional in producing the desired impact. Mark’s goal is to help a student identify and understand the tendencies in their golf swing. The student can then work to improve and eliminate these tendencies.
Mark feels strongly that to make a change in the golf swing takes time and practice. If a student is looking for short term success, Mark will work exclusively on the short game. Many students have taken five to ten strokes off their score in one month with intensive short game training. As for the full swing, it can take a student much longer to become comfortable and see results. Playing lessons are an essential part of his training so students can learn to take it to the golf course - where it counts!

Great drill. My bad drives always come from trying for distance. I need to hit more balls on the center of the club face and make sure path is right. Distance always follows. Balance is usually key. Thanks

Great drill! I hope to fix mt slice with these practice drills and become more consistent. I am really glad to finally find some video content for left handed golfers! Where I live in Ottawa Canada there are only two left handed golf teachers and neither is anywhere close to where I live. Thanks, I hope to see more videos. Robert

My pleasure Robert! Glad you found and are enjoying my TH-cam channel. I try to put a new video out every other Tuesday (post Covid). I have four shot I'm editing right now. In the summer I stock up as I'm too busy teaching in the winter. All the best!

Good review of the basics. The comments made by Chris Kehoe are similar to mine. As soon as I try to hit the ball harder for distance my faults show up. I love how you hit it so pure every time. Thanks for the videos, as my game is the best it has been ever....

Hey Mark, seemed like this was taylor made for me as it covered alot of what we've worked on in past. One question, I know this was for the Driver, but how much if any will these principles apply as we go through shorter clubs? Can/should I employ them with fairway woods, hybrids? Thanks

Hi Doug! Great to hear from you. What I discussed in this video can be applied to every club in the bag. People enjoy driver videos that's why I directed it more towards the driver. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Very nice swing. It appears that at address, your stance is closed, hands are behind the ball, ball is at the heel of the club head. Are these some of the factors for straighter shots?

My problems all lie with over swinging , I practice a nice slow swing but when I tee it up on the course I’m looking to kill it 🤷‍♂️
