  • In this tutorial I run through a simple technique to make particles in #cavalryapp - then I run through three different ways that you can use this - with some text animation, simple particle explosion and circle packing.
    This assumes you're familiar with the app - if you have any questions please comment below -
    Files can be downloaded for free - pepkomotion.gu...

    Almost spent around $225 for an After Effects addon the other day to achieve this, but then I found this.
    Can't thank you enough!

    Great tutorial as always! I love the look of the 'no gravity' ball simulation, and adding the path offset makes it look so good!

      bit of a happy discovery with the path offset :)

    Hey dude this is so great! How did you go about creating the grain effect on the gradient colours? Been struggling for ages and can't seem to figure it out

      Distortion filter maybe?

      @@christiaannel5504 In the gradient shader - under the actual gradient are two fields P for position adn J for jitter. Jitter is what you're after.

    What if i have my self asset from Adobe Illustrator and then i wanna make effect like that? it is impossible to do it?

      You can copy and paste basic svg from illustrator to cavalry. Just might have to tinker with the hierarchy.

    Is it possible to maintain the circles with a shape?

      Yeah I might get around to doing another Forge tute- you'll have be weary of the collision type.

    is this works for images import?

    • @pepkomotion
      @pepkomotion  9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Rectangle images would be easy. With pngs with alpha, you would have to make shapes to get the physics working correctly.
