One of the better tips I got from a high school coach when kicking outdoors in the wind, is to look for a flag. It’s been over 30 years ago, but if memory serves, a flag that’s flying straight across means the wind is around 10-15 or more mph. Useful tip for punters as well. Core strength and flexibility is also very important.
As a former kicker, I must say that kickers are so good now that they are in real danger of becoming obsolete in the future. There is no drama anymore, perfection becomes boring for the fans. I think they will first narrow the goal posts to 10 feet wide then they will eventually eliminate field goals and extra points from the game. They are already leaning towards eliminating kickoffs so it is not as far fetched as it sounds. Better job security for punters. The kickers won't be missed by the fans or the players and coaches, who never really considered kickers to be legitimate football players anyway, Trust me I know.

i have a question im a lefty but when i go to kick the ball my foot tends to turn inward since when i walk my foot turns slightly inward how can i correct that?
martin ahlström lol yeah when I️ tried out for kicker I️ had never kicked a football before but played soccer for 6 years and nailed a 35 yarder first try and it was over the crossbar by 7 yards and everyone just left the line immediately
