Nice one, Jonny! You got a good 'un there, mate. I reckon that was a guitar that got sent back when the customer changed their mind. Nowt wrong with it, but they can't sell it as new. Hence B Stock 👍
I think so mate. It still cost a few shackles (thank heavens for the paypal pay in 3 option!), but when you hear it with the band in the live stream on Sunday, you will see it's a good investment.
Johnny, sometimes companies will put "B Stock" on guitars that they want to just get rid of. So there MIGHT BE a blem on it but sometimes they just blow them out. My guess is that a line, model, or series of guitars was supposed to be available to sell by the factory at a certain time to the manufacturer or to retailers and that window was missed which compressed the next model or line of guitars the company has coming out after it. So just "B Stock" it and sell it close to cost and move on. I've only owned a few B Stocks and they had minimal blend. Another good way to save is to buy "Used" or floor model guitars from retailers. Especially if you plan to do mods where it starts to save you more money on the overall price.😉👍✨
Glad you got the guitar you wanted in the end. It's a good looking thing (getting PRS vibes off it) and sounds good too. My HB35 was B stock, and the wiring around the jack needed redoing after a few months, so maybe check inside. But looks like you got a result.
Hi Jonny, you got yourself a good one there, it sounds great and the finish is simply stunning. I went for a "B" stock when I bought my HB P90 gold top and it was the same for me I couldn't see one reason why it should have been called "B" stock. People should never be put off going for "B" stock instruments if it helps them get the guitar they really want but couldn't afford otherwise. I'd be willing to bet that if you'd gone for the regular price one at the time it's the colour you'd have chosen.
just as i break another string .... i have a spool of the Mitchell's abrasive chord No.54, and every time i break a string i run that through the black and polish that saddle. it's gotta stop at some point.
i run the flagship Wilkinson bridge...i like it, bolted up a lump of bronze on the block, so not stock, but the expensive ones are good bridges.....and good enough that I also bought a spare.
Thank's for another great review! Do you know if the Fazley Locking Tuners they sell at Bax are any good? They don't look like the ones on your guitar.
Jake Burns of STIFF LITTLE FINGERS does, and has done for years. Francis Rossi of STATUS QUO does......and I now have 4 green guitars and a green bass.
I've already sent my response to the Budget Guitar Facebook page but I'll post on here again just cause I want to! The guitar I want is a Vintage V100mp Mick Ronson Guitar copy priced at £399 Also I see it's Wattie Buchan's birthday today so I'm going to wish him a Happy Birthday, here goes... Och Aye!
Score Johnny,,it's awesome!

I love that people can get very decent guitars and practice amps so affordable and so many to choose from.
Beautiful looking guitar that sounded excellent, well worth the £170 you paid as a B stock item, congratulations on the new axe !! 👍🎸😁

it's gotta stop at some point.
Lovely guitar, I just wish it was blue!
Haha, you can get it in blue, but I'm a green guy
@@BudgetGuitarShow Green is something I either love or hate. The exception is British racing green which is ace.
i run the flagship Wilkinson bridge...i like it,

Nice! 🤘
Thanks mate
For a b-stock guitar absolute bargain nice!
Yep, I think so mate
That sounded great in rehearsals last night
It did
Good deal that Jonnie. I got a B stock fazley wi nowt wrong with it.
Thank's for another great review!
Do you know if the Fazley Locking Tuners they sell at Bax are any good?
They don't look like the ones on your guitar.
They are good for the price yes. These ones are the slightly more premium version.
Nice axe Johny.
Yeah, I love it
You did not miss out on much.
I see one major flaw with it. It is green. Who plays a green guitar?
Jake Burns of STIFF LITTLE FINGERS does, and has done for years. Francis Rossi of STATUS QUO does......and I now have 4 green guitars and a green bass.

I want a Ronno copy......might make my own.
great sounding guitar !!!
Sure is
Gah! The Rollers!
Hahaha
Some bang for your buck you got there. What a well spec'd guitar for the money 👍
Absolutely. It's up there with the Phynica
B Stock doesn't have to mean damaged. It could just as easily be a simple return, or packaging damage. I must say that the finish is rather fetching.
Yeah, I assumed as it was £180 down from £290 it must have a serious issue, but I can't find any
God Save The Bay City Rollers 🤔
Yeah
Try that bridge I sent you should pop straight in ,very nice guitar mate
