      sorry to burst your bubble, but this guy is wrong about what he’s teaching. seems hard to be a good teacher when you get the facts wrong in such a fundamental and dangerous way..
      chlorine dioxide in your water puts chlorine into your body, which is bad-chlorine is the main active element in bleach, and there are many studies showing how harmful it is.

    The first time I was introduced to Aqua Mira was on a trip and someone gave me a taste of their treated water. I was really surprised-it totally tasted like bottled water. I’ve been a fan ever since.

    • @Erik-wf7wb
      @Erik-wf7wb 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      “tasting like water” and “safe drinking water” are not the same thing.
      putting chlorine dioxide, or aqua mira, in your water puts chlorine into your body, which isn’t good for your health.
      do research, listen to trusted sources, stop drinking bleach.

    The challenge with chemicals for killing virus and bacteria is that it is indiscriminate, and it also kills "good" bacteria in the stomach so taking a Probiotic may help restore some of the stomach flora. I have read that carbon filter will help to remove some of the chemical load to the system/body.

    Hi Luke,
    Thanks for sharing.
    We're here in Indonesia about thousand years ago (was once known as Nusantara, some sort of a United Nation of Asia Pacific), we use Moringa Seeds to treat water. It is safer than chlorine dioxide.
    Now there is Moringa Seeds essential oil, more efficient with high concentrated Moringa in liquid form, lightweight and minimalist.
    I think you should try and review it, it would a much more safer and healthier alternative than Chlorine Dioxide.

    Beats the old iodine crystal system. Iodine is strange no matter how you seal the bottle it migrates out and stains stuff. Tried hot glue around the cap and vacuum sealing it in a bag. Still got out. It's also not great tasting. I migrated to filters mostly. But keep chemicals anyway. Thanks for the introduction to this. Back last winter we had the big freeze and power outage and right after the power came back the water was shut off. Had to use my emergency water supply and melted snow for washing. You just never know when this stuff could bail you out of trouble.

  • @DennisMathias
    @DennisMathias 10 ปีที่แล้ว

    One thought..after you've put the solution in the water, dry off the bottle. Then just invert the bottle and slightly unscrew the lid to let some of the purification reach the threads. Pouring from a cup might not always be perfect due to a splash you might not notice and you contaminate your cup. This way you don't need the cup part!

    need to clarify precautions against damage to your gut biome from the antibacterial effect. sort of a sketchy presentation..

      yes, you’re absolutely right about it being damaging to your gut, and your whole body, really.. it’s basically bleach, and this guy is either very uninformed, or trying to hurt a lot of people. don’t use this, find a better way.

      @@Erik-wf7wb well chlorine dioxide has cured malaria, thats how its effect was discovered in the jungle but yes, this guy states its not bleach and thats exactly what it is. A much more bio-friendly bleach but not to be overdone and it has also killed people. Also the basis of closys mouthwash

      @@douglundy5755 sure, it might have uses in specific cases, and in order to combat specific diseases when given under proper medical supervision-and still, without having the knowledge to make a qualified statement about it, i imagine there are far better ways to deal with things like malaria now.
      and yes, as you said, he stated something dangerously false about the very nature of chlorine dioxide, and then proceeds to tell ppl there’s no problem putting it in their water..
      i’d rather live in the 21st century, personally speaking.

      @@Erik-wf7wb there is nothing that will treat malaria and the country of Bolivia has declared chlorine dioxide to be a wonder drug because it has saved too many people. Now those of us under modern Medical Care can just go ahead and die of whatever disease has been inflicted on us for Fun and Profit. And anyone who can read and finds out the truth is the most qualified Authority. Ask Dr Jennifer Daniels who practices from Panama where she's allowed to work. She's been exiled from the US because she's way too good a doctor and tells the truth

      @@douglundy5755 wow, you know i thought you were starting to make sense there for a second.. pretty sure people don’t get exiled from a country for being “way too good a doctor,” and also it seems like she was having people drink turpentine..? turpentine is a strong organic solvent, used as a paint thinner, and considered to be dangerous for human consumption.

    Aquamira drops vs tablets? both needs time to purify water... but drops are way more cheaper. Tablets are really easy to use but you will need to pay 10 times more than drops to purify the same ammount of water.
    Now... Sawyer Filter plus Aquamira drops is a fantastic combination

    Chlorine dioxide is toxic, hence limits on exposure to it are needed to ensure its safe use. The United States Environmental Protection Agency has set a maximum level of 0.8 mg/L for chlorine dioxide in drinking water.

    30 gallons, and you say long distance hikers like this? How many days will this last? For 12 dollars 30 gallons...?? Thats $0.40 cents a gallon. That is expensive as hell man. Lightweight? Tablets drop an aquatab in the bottle wait 30 minutes. Easy. I use in conjunction with sawyer filter.

      They are not the same. Hydroxychloroquine has quinine. 2 different things.
