This didn't answer the question...Honey in the comb outside a hive will crystallize. It will solidify after a couple of weeks if extracted. Most of the runny honeys sold in the supermarkets by corporate honey producers will be Adulterated with either golden syrup or sugar water. Consumers are not getting 100% pure honey. In Australia all major brands of honey, when tested, were found to be Adulterated. If you google about Adulterated Capellino honey you will see this is true. Alot of big store bought honeys are a rip-offs. Worst kept secret in the honey industry. Simple test; pure honey burns when lite, adultered will not. Pure honey will not easily dissolve in water, Adulterated honey will. (From a NZ beekeeper.)
That's why i buy my honey from a local farm that keeps bees. I know its simply extracted from the hives, and passed through a simple filter into quart jars.

Acacia for example . If the honey is runny the bees have been given plenty of sugar water . How thick is Manuka honey with high UMF content ? 20+ Food for thought . @@Human-bf7kz The manuka factor is MG or methyl glyoxal. Manuka honey is very viscous. All foods can be Adulterated. It pays to buy food from reputable sellers and from countries that you can rely on and trust, definitely not China.
Please can you do an episode on the difference between Organic Honey and non-Organic (however that's possible)? And maybe unwrap the veil on a few mysterious terms like Pasteurisation (and whether this removes any health benefits), and Adulteration (and what the industry is doing to try and detect it).
