Same here in the USA. I wonder if its bourbon whiskey like it is here or maybe just the flavor? Is bourbon something different in the UK and pronounced the same?
They have holes to keep them nice and fresh... also, so tiny witches can use them in the cages they trap tiny children in while in the forest. Lets them get fresh air while transporting them to their house.
@@heycidskyja4668 Biscuits and scones are both quick breads, but scones are mixed and dropped somewhat differently and biscuits aren't sweetened at all.
I'm waiting for that moment when the person on the other line actually knows the answer to their questions.
I suspect that when that happens the answer doesn’t get used...
That bit is worthless and not funny.
Touchy, isn't she? 😂 Lass probably wanted to bag a lifetime supply of biscuits
looooool
Or just the cream that goes in between
Fr I was like dayum girl
That's inappropriate
Glad they showed the ones without holes as well.. always good when they think ahead to provide more than the minimum answers
In fact most recipes call for pricking biscuits and pie crusts with a fork before baking to let the steam out, it's not much of a secret :-D
The holes make them cook to where they are crispy!😋(they help to make it stable also!😉)
I love ginger nuts. I can't understand why the only ginger biscuits in Sweden are so thin😭
I’ve won competitions for my ginger biscuits. I use my great grandmother’s recipe.
Same thing with sausages and pies. Letting the steam escape leaving a flat aesthetic finish.
Bourbon is definitely pronounced like the guy said

@@keithyinger3326 Well, both come from the French House of Bourbon, which is pronounced with an 'or' sound.

In most cases, they are not holes, they are dimples.
Ive always called the alcohol "burbun" and the biscuit "bore-bon"
I love this show !!!
I just love the way she talks.
Yes she cracks me up.
@@katherinekinnaird4408 That's some next level British accent.
From Bury, Manchester originally and it was always pronounced "Bor-bon".
I could not work in a biscuit factory as I’d want to eat them all
they remove small pieces of them to reduce costs.
I'm guessing but it's so that the air can pass through while cooking
In French, Bourbon isn't pronounced either way lol
What the holy god damn hell is boiled sweets? We both speak English but I have no Idea what the hell they are talking about.
I loved the puns ;)
Ofc they’ll have holes. They’re cookies not biscuits.
Just eating Mcvities in Turkey the caramel ones, probably imported from UK, They don't have any holes kek

@Bluewolfe96 LOL! I know!
Was hoping she on her way to Robert Carlyle. 10p for biscuits!
Biscuits in the US doesn’t have holes at all 😂
How do you stop the steam rising and distorting the shape of the biscuit then?
@@heycidskyja4668 biscuits here look like english muffins 🤪
To me American biscuits look like what we call scones.
@@FixerUK yes
She's a real teaser slapper!
So what's the difference between a biscuit and a cookie ?
Are these discovery or national geographic shows clippers?

2:35 Watch it from there get the answer and move on.
