- Based on the DC Comic Book "The Super-Girl from Krypton" and DCAU "Little Girl Lost", Kal-El (Superman) travels to the remain of his home planet Krypton in search of life were he discovers that his biological cousin Kara Zor-El has been trapped in suspended animation for over 30 years. Meanwhile a new villain arises in the form of a sorceress Selena who partners with her one time lover Lex Luthor to plot a world dominion takeover. After returning to earth Clark is trying to help Kara come to terms with her new powers and finding her place in her new found home planet.

What made Christopher Reeve the best Superman was that "strong streak of good" vibe that he gave off.

@bioshock 69 Yea, you're indeed correct. I grew up with the original, saw others come and go. But Christopher Reeves' personality and just his charm in real life personified the comic book hero so many around the world came to love.
Christopher Reeve was in movies and George Reeves in Adventures of Superman which is still on Saturday at 12 Noon Eastern time on H &I channel.

Helen Slater was awesome as supergirl it's a shame she only got one movie would have loved to have seen her and Christopher Reeves appear in a movie together and take on brainiac or some other villain would have been a great movie

Unfortunately Superman 3 was disappointing and the fourth film made by Cannon was a disaster.
Supergirl should have been better but we got what we got.
Helen Slater was the perfect supergirl shame the film was just bad i was so disappointed when seeing this at the theatre. I walked out thinking how bad could they do this when we had superman 1 and 2 . I love the costume but i am guessing if we where to get another superman or girl being made today with gunn directing it's going to look like the man of steel style a onesie

Loved Supergirl when it came out, should have gotten better reviews than it did, Helen Slater was good as Supergirl and loved her portrayal of Supergirl. Christopher Reeves, in my opinion, was the best Superman for the part and I also loved his acting in other movies….one being I think was Out of Time, where a man found love in the past and returned to his lady in the early 1900’s. It was well done, great story. RIP Chris, you will always be my hero, not only as Superman, but also as a hero in bringing attention to the suffering many have with spinal cord injuries, I thank you for helping with these medical issues. 👍👍🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Somewhere in Time. That's the Christopher Reeve movie where he travels into the past. Really lovely film and Reeve gives a great likable performance as usual. :)

Clever splicing of scenes from the original classic, " Superman 🦸♂️ 👌 " and the characters from that movie 🎬 ! And then adding new characters. Is this a fan-produced film or an actual film ; I don't recall this as a movie 🤔? If fan-produced, it's brilliant 👏! Is there more to come ?
Hello. its a fan film i created for fun and too see my 2 favourite actors together on film. i also did a Superman Batman Earth' Finest movie with Reeve and Keaton...and the Hulk vs Superman although the latter 2 were more of a training ground. cheers.

this is cool...the film Helen Slater deserved but never got.glad it exists in some form here. goes to show you that with even 80s special effects the story is what makes it good. that's what the new dc lacks...all special effects but no good simple story. this was very entertaining

Easy Most of Superman 2 was shot at the same time as Superman the Movie and Supergirl didn’t become a thing until after Superman 3. Christopher Reeve was supposed to be in Supergirl but the story idea was so bad, he said no. The plan was to have a romance between Supergirl and Superman.

@@tconnolly9820 Actually much of what he wanted for the fourth Superman film was objected to. Even he admitted it was bad. And frankly he was right in regards to the Supergirl film as originally conceived. There’s a video about it here on TH-cam.

It is justifiably one of the worst movies ever made and a terrible end to that era of the franchise.
 They did some work to get him for that project. But that doesn't mean they didn't interfere. I think there’s videos on that to.

i don't get why people harp so much on the Supergirl film, it was 1984 for God's sake (the year i was born) that film was my favorite when i was a kid and Supergirl is my all time favorite superhero. i'll tell ya what would've been neat.....if in superman 4 they brought supergirl into the film and had supergirl help superman fight solarman.

Christopher Reeve and Helen Slater are the real definitive of Superman and Supergirl. Others are just acting and wanna be.
Not really, dean cain who did the tv series louis and ckark was just asking good, the actor who played man of steel and other sequels did a good job too. Its just that Christopher has a more iconic legend aura to him because he played the first superman in a movie. Dean caine was just as good along with terri hatcher.

superman family is just like it should be as a kid we had national periodicals dc comics by curt swan that were so much the run of stories to entertain us before marvel became the 'fashionable cool' even carmine infantino and sid green art was not everything but it was the stories that actually the superman comics would be kept in that tradition standard while the green lantern and flash became more cutting edge, though the superman batman and teen titans were stretching to the new fashion, all in all, they were great to have and all make for a good story and possible novels.

What could have, and should have been. Reeve and Slater in the same film!
the editing of this "VIDEO" is quite grotesque and when we look back on the special effects from before, we can realize the enormous difference and the path traveled since but the freshness and the candid spirit of Kara reminds us to what extent the characters' characters were very different from those of today. Everything evolved at the same time as the characters and even if this video is a somewhat disparate and shaky assembly, it will always be an immense pleasure to watch. see Christopher REEVES again who for many of us remains forever not only the first but the only true SUPERMAN in cinema even if I greatly appreciate those who followed in the lineage of the Man of Steel...

Bravo, you’ve done an excellent job with this creation. You’ve melted together three different different movies and made it a cohesive creation presentation sure it’s a little jumbled Parts the dialogue is not good because it wasn’t even written actually trying to form dialogue where it wasn’t actually and might help with this a little bit. I know AI is the evil thing I’m worried about Movie that could fix this not need to fix, I’m sure this took a lot of work hard work. Anna and I appreciate it as a lifelong Superman and Supergirl fan. I love all things krypton and this is a fabulous presentation. That was what each movie was missing. I mean I like the stories of Superman three and I even liked the About them the evil Superman clone it just needed that togetherness the family the teamwork I’m just surprised you didn’t send Superman to the phantom zone instead of Supergirl. I’ll try easier with editing but it was fabulous. Thank you so much for your hard work whoever this is I hope you make more things like this, I appreciate it and I know but they always say if there’s one there’s 10,000 at least you didn’t say anything I hope people see this more I’m sorry to go on like this. I think the reason Reeves and Slater never got together was that then, like now, comics sell rights to every Tom, Dick and Harry that comes up with any non-canon version they can get approved by the board!
I have never actually seen a movie about Superman or Supergirl (including this mash-up of someone else's work) that followed the real origin of either. Without dating myself, I actually owned Action #2, and been following the stories a looong time!
The sad thing is, with comic companies targeting 58-year olds these days, kids who are collecting books OR movies are being exposed to more violence, cursing and sex than I've ever seen. We need a comics code again! And people get upset about wrestling!!!
James Gunn made Christopher Reeve Superman the Canon one in the DCU now. The Henry Cavil one is now no longer a DCU canon story line.
