The irony is all these women come to this show because they have “shortcomings” as per societal standard either with their skin colour, body type, inability to give birth etc but all the women I have watched here are the most beautiful and graceful women I have seen/come across my entire life. Each and everyone is so empowering and courageous. Kudos for bringing them together in this show.

My wife shared link of this video, and it’s simply awesome. She hardly recommends TH-cam stuff to watch but I liked it a lot. My wife highlighted such concerns of rishta aunties who often visit door to door not for rishta for their sons but for eating and judging someone’s else princesses and then rejecting those princesses on the face of their daughters. Good you did program on this issue that has nothing to do with economy or politics of the country but has a serious impact on the society. Great going!!!

I don't want to compare the episodes since each struggle was a personal battle but what I've noticed is how the narrative makes even the mundane seem impressive. The speaker didn't just give an account of her problems but she wove words like a waving wand and cast a spell through her words- magical. This is the simplest story with the strongest moral yet. Love it. I like how the interviews aren't hours long- 10 minutes, short, sweet yet sound. Great initiative.

Someone become CEO at 25 and dies at 50, while another become a CEO at 50 and lived to 90 yrs
Everyone works based on their “Time Zone”
People can have things worked out only according to their pace....Work in your time zone
Your colleges, friends, younger one might seem to go ahead of you
Don’t envy them its their “Time Zone” you are in yours..
Hold on, be strong and stay true to your self all thighs shall work together for your good !!

I'm 25 years old, living in New York City, and my ethnicity is Memon. People don't want memon girls. I have my masters in Early Childhood Education and I am currently a teacher. I am the only child of my parents. The main drawback in my situation is my ethnicity because nobody likes Memons, I don't earn that much even though I have decent savings, and I don't have a father who runs a business, he works on an average salary. I am grateful for what I have. Alhumdulilah! I, my mom, and my dad work with average salaries and nobody wants that. Many boys and their families would prefer a girl from a different ethnicity or their own ethnicity and many people want girls who are highly qualified with a strong position such as a doctor, lawyer, IT, etc. I'm none of that and to be honest I have stopped caring. It's fine if I don't get married. Allah is enough for me. ❤

You are not striving for views but for making a difference. & therefore your interviews are the best thing that I ever came across. There is no intention of revolt upon the opposite gender. But what you show is the real meaning of FEMINISM. Power Power To You. May Allah shower his blessing upon you and may your paths be eased. (Ameen) You are making your parents proud. Jab izzat hogi tab hi mohabbat, aitebaar, khayal, khaloos, aur wafa waghera hongi. Phir izzat ke samne toh yeh kapre, mehngi mehngi gariyan, zewraat, aur makeup jaisi cheezain toh fazool aur bemaini hain.

And that teacher mother and PIEAS senior engineer son did not worry about the commitment they had made.

It is not just girls who are affected by what guys want...
Girls see the location of the guy...if he is smart, intelligent, handsome, rich guy but living in a small town then the girl of his dream will reject him for the dream of being in the city no matter if she is from another small town or maybe village somewhere out there..
Guys get rejected over what their job is..
Guys get rejected over staying in a joint family or with parents..
Guys get rejected over short height or ugly face or fat body or all of them..
So a guy faces more problems in life building a career first and then look for a girl for whom he is perfect in all aspects...girls if they work or not doesnt matter much..girls have a choice to be a housewife unlike a guy who if mentions to be a house husband and wants his wife to feed him for life then he would be rejected right away..

@@Hussainpiplodwala I actually make more than my husband plus I think it's more to do with parents. Girls often love guys but their parents make them marry rich guys. Plus if a guy has money he can get any girl no matter how he looks. That's why love marriage is better. Become friends before life partners, know your partner and understand whether you guys are compatible or not.

    • @Hussainpiplodwala
      @Hussainpiplodwala 5 ปีที่แล้ว

@@thetrendhouse9958 i never denied the fact that girls dont earn more or anything of that sort...i just said that girls do have options in life to work or not to, unlike guys...
Also i too have seen cases where not so good looking girl from a rich family gets to marry handsome hunk based on the money power her family possess...one of my friend who comes from a lower middle class family who is good looking himself is an example of it...he married a not so good looking fat girl who is from usa just on the money thing she possess...you can take example of salman khan sister arpita khan..
All in all i am trying to say is that it is not the girls who are only the victim of such things...guys too get equally treated wrongly in such situations..
And today's arrange marriage is totally different from what it used to be like back in the days where you go and see the girl and no matter if girl dint liked the guy...still marriage was done in no time..
Nowadays girls reject guys more than the other way round...and guy girl meet...if they feel like they may be compatible with each other then they meet couple of time more and then get engaged...that engagement life stays for maybe a year or two so they have ample of time with them to decide if they are right for each other or not...it is just like dating but with a bit of parents help and involvement initially..

The solution is to change people's perceptions but it's also to end the culture of arranged marriages. I know people would get up in arms offended saying 'it's our culture and how dare you suggest such a thing?' but not everything about your culture is worth following. It's not rational for parents to parade their daughters for men and their mothers to nitpick and choose. It's not fair either. It completely diminishes a woman's right to choose her life partner not to mention her self worth. Even a two year old refuses to eat the food his or her parents want them to eat without their own input and you expect women to get married because their parents believe a guy can feed and clothe her? That's not what sustains a marriage.
To those who believe that it's ideal because arranged marriages work, let me remind you that marriage is partly a gamble anyway but you shouldn't have to live a life with a person whom you don't find attractive and do not love simply because they have the means to buy you from your parents (that's exactly what happens irrespective of the fancy euphemisms) and the women are traded from the father to the husband as slaves despite all the pomp and show associated with the wedding. Let your daughters have the right to choose their own path. You are their parents not their owners. Give them useful advice and raise them right but once they've become adults, let them choose their own husbands. You won't have to be dealing with that man at all times or sleeping with him daily, she does so give her autonomy over her own life. We're absolutely crazy because at 26, a female doctor can be trusted with the life of a patient even in extremely risky situations but they aren't trusted enough with their OWN lives. It's infuriating and it needs to finally change. We aren't third class citizens.

      Completely one sided argument.
Arrange marriage or Liberal marriage means nothing since there will always be expectations.
"parade their daughters for men and their mothers"
I can just change one word and it'll be a different argument. The daughter and parents also do that to men as well. So lets not act like the victims here while doing exactly the same thing to other side.
Women do have the right to choose her life partner. No parent in this day age forces their daughters to marry unless you live in a rural area with no laws, otherwise we wouldn't have the highest rates of un married young women in Pakistan for the first time history.
" women are traded from the father to the husband as slaves"
A slave does not have laws to protect his sovereignty and well being. With all the laws in the family court system that are in place to protect women physically and financially, this argument is simply an insult. Unless you want to make an argument for gender roles then mind you, if you can TELL a man to provide then a woman can also be TOLD to take care of the house. Its a transaction. If you don't want to take part in that "transaction" then do not tell a man how he should treat you or what to do for you unless you are willing to do something in return because no one owes you anything for simply existing. Simple as that!
Lets not copy paste feminist arguments and be more pragmatic.

Weight in terns of health issues is a different scenario. Weight is something that can be reduced or gained. What this lady is talking about is respect, a good heary and character. Those are the main things to judge if you want to marry someone. I know many men and women who lost weight AFTER marriage!! Their husbands/wives didn't even demand that they be slim!!
People who make these kinds of foolish criteria end up marrying a slim lady who is probably good to look at, but is a real haraam-zaadi on the inside. Her character is ugly.

Yes, She was talking about the respect but she disrespected in return but her act is justifiable.
A good character will always overcome all other missing things. I have seen couples where the spouse is average or below average but they are living happily because regardless of their looks they won the hearts with their behavior and LOVE.
Yeah, I am talking about the health issues because for me health and fitness is the most important.
Health and Fitness is an add on for the happy relationship. I can quote a lot of examples what a healthy+fit couple can do and what a over weight or unhealthy couple would miss.
People who just put a physique or facial beauty as a priority are the ones who are immature or selfish.

@@SafwanHashmi WRONG!!!! It is not necessary that someone overweight will NOT enjoy something a fit person would. I have seen couples where one or both prople are overweight and they are happy with their relationship!! They must be enjoying SOMETHING whuch is why they are happy or else they could break up for petty reasons.

@Ganga Din She had every right to say what she did. Nobody has the right to comment on her weight or tell her to join the gym. That was rude and obnoxious too. Who the hell were they to say that too her? If they wanted to look for a wife fir their son, they should look for a wife not a model. If someone wanted to accept her, they should accept her the way she is!!
She has every right to have standards just like all human beings. If men can have standards then women can too. It doesn't matter what someone's size is. I don't care what you think about her, so seriously just keep your ideas to yourself, because I wasn't talking to you.
