Glad to see you posting again! This is great information. From what I have seen around me (Lake Tahoe/ Reno, NV) your prices are reasonable to maybe slightly low. I moved from the SF Bay Area and the detailing prices were much higher than what you quoted in this video. I have a couple of questions for you. 1) you mentioned ceramic coatings for different purposes/desired outcomes. What coating would you recommend for scratch resistance? 2) Does the quality/price of the car being detailed factor into your pricing ( meaning, if I have a new BMW or a new Toyota and their sizes are the same would the price be the same? I ask because I had PPF installed on my Tesla and my RAV4 and the pricing quotes seemed inflated when I first mentioned that I had a Tesla but if I stated that I had a RAV4 first, the prices seemed to be lower overall. Thanks for the great info and transparency.

      Thank you I appreciate it!
      1) A great new coating from diamond protech called "nano diamond coating" is popular and advertises scratch and abrasion resistance"
      2) no I only charge based on the condition of the paint (do I charge standard price, or should I charge less cuz the paint is in good condition) so that and the size of the vehicle. The brand/quality doesn't matter. The place that gave those quotes might be getting to squeeze extra money out of you but Tesla paint is notoriously bad from factory and they might be preparing to charge more for the extra polishing it'll need compared to quality built vehicles like a RAV4. Though I can't say for sure.

I’ll check out Diamond Protech. (Never heard of them before) Thanks so much!
