I'm very impressed with Mr Ahuti sir. Everything he said makes sense. Ever since I was aware of this issue, I've always disliked how so called "upper castes" used to looked down upon so called "lower casts". I'm not even trying to justify anything here. We need a major reform that will help us eradicate this system. It's. systemic thing than a personal thing. I also know many people don't even care about Jaat and many will say it's the thing of past. We have to be aware of this issue and we have to agree that it's still prevalent in our society and our society is rotting because of this very problem. Nepal is very cosmopolitan and diversity is our pride. Unless and until so called upper cast people like myself don't realize that Jaat is very much alive in our society and if we try to hide this under the mat, it will make this issue even worse. We need to have a dialogue about this topic like how Rajesh Hamal daju started this program. We must acknowledge our own brothers and sisters are being pushed away from so many aspects of life just because of Jaat, we are to be blamed. As a so called Bahun person like myself, I want to know what can I do to be a part of problem solver? Please comment .

To a regular non-Dalit viewer, the conventional understanding of the caste is gonna be overthrown with this episode because today we don’t have an interview with someone whose talk is cheap and predictable. Mr. Aahuti is telling the facts right out from the standpoint that people don’t want to hear because the truth is bitter and obscured for most of us. Even the presenter is somehow having a hard time appreciating what he is saying. Up to now none of the guests have told what was the truth but Mr. Aahuti said is precise, unperturbed with the issues regarding voices of minorities.
The facts are clear, we Dalits have been the victim of this caste system for 3000 years and always made to live a life of disgrace.
You don’t have to see below, just look at people who are perched at the top, the rainbow of diversity we call representatives in our parliament is skewed towards the so-called high caste is clearly visible. The slight view of statistics based on the socio-economic status of caste would show you how much dominated we are with this caste system.
This is the end of it. We don’t wanna be fools anymore. We die every day, get killed every day for our caste, we are deprived of love.
We want our rights back.
