I changed this part window gos up but not down changed the switch. On drivers side and other ideas of the n the next issue to looks thanks
Thank you soo muchh i have an 06 150 window fell in the door new regulator 175 bucks shop wanted $ 325 for the job u make it look sooo easy Hey i can do that save me $$$$ That regulator looks tricky but it 's not I'm going out there now with tools LOL ha !! maybe a beer first.
This video saved me hundreds of dollars and now I know I can do it. I did passenger side. About 90 minutes out, two days waiting for parts, 2 days waiting for weather, 90 minutes back in. Also fixed speaker wire that was broken. The plastic water barrier had rips in it. Fixed up with duct tape. Hardest thing was getting duct tape residue off the glass where I taped it up and it was on there 4 days.

Great video. Watched this a couple of times and had it running while I did the repair. Saved me a lot of money...job would have cost $450-$600 at the dealer or repair shop and did the whole job myself for less than $60 (cost of window regulator). I just replaced this part on my 2005 F150 crew cab front passenger door. Your detailed video was instrumental to my success. Thank you very much!
Video is excellent but in my case my window was in the "down" position and it was a little harder to get to the bolts on the clamps that hold the glass as I had to stick a 10 mm wrench in between the regulator and the clamp. The motor in my case failed so bringing the window up was not an option (as far as I know). But by watching this video I learned how to do everything else and were all the fasteners were (or were not as someone had been there before and did not replace the bottom screws). Thank you I probably saved over $100.00 in labor.

Great video and even better prices. I was looking at between 120 and 170 bucks for this part. My only issue is that now for the window I fixed is that my down button moves the window up and my down button moves the window up but only for this window.

Outstanding video. The only issue I had was the wire was not broken so my window would not go up high enough to get to the clamps holding the glass. Had to take all the bolts out and for the glass up high enough to get a flat wrench in to loosen those clamps. This was probably the best how to video I have ever used!

In the last step hit the armrest with all-purpose spray cleaner and give a good wipe down to remove all grime

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!! You guys saved me a lot of money. The dealer ship wanted almost $300 to do the job. Your step by step video walked me through the whole procedure and I was able to do it myself for $96. The biggest trouble I ran into was the fact that my window was all the way down and I couldn't get to the bolts to unattached the window from the regulator. However, the motor had just enough power and I was able to move it up. I saw where someone else had the same problem, perhaps you can address that issue when the window is so far down and the motor does not work...what do you do then?

I bought the part before I came across your video. I won't make that mistake again. I paid $96 and you have it listed at $59. Thanks again. I will shop with you first on my next repair.
You can cut the cable or cables and slide the window up by hand. A wood blocknder the window will keep it from falling. Then tape it at the top as shown.

How different is this on the single cab door? I know the window switch is in a different location on the truck in question. Instead of being on the arm rest, it's a single button located lower down on the door

Hope you are still monitoring this . It is great video and helped me install it but it did not fix my problem . I put the new one in and it still won't go up . If you could help me to figure this out I would really be grateful . It went down no problem but still won't go up. I am not sure if its the ground or hot but it has to be in the wires cause I switched the switch . If you could tell me what wire is what maybe I can go from there.
