Saw inside number 9, felt like stopping people, 'have you seen inside number 9'?, so clever, episode set in a changing room, police car, and a quiet night in, was virtually silent. Like nothing ever before. Very very special.!!!
@@sicktit44 i adore black mirror, but i cannot deny the cutting wit of this comment. i love this show too (of course) but don't really lump them into the same category. for some reason, i think of black mirror as more sci-fi.
My word. I have watched a lot of tv in my 53 years on this planet. '12 days of Christine' blew my World apart!!! It is definitely, the Best thing, that I have seen..........EVER!!! When it started, I was a bit, Mmmmm! By the end.......FN Hell!
I agree with you completely, I was practically in tears at the end of the episode. A very emotional episode. It's extremely rare for a TV show or a movie to give me such emotional feelings. Plus i've always liked Sheridan Smith as an actress, she is brilliant in this episode.
A true golden duo, I love Reece & Steve with my whole heart. They’re absolute geniuses and have always been so lovely & polite when I’ve met them. Legends of our time.
I cried a river at the end of that episode. But spent most of it trying to work it out. I never expected how it ended and her realization of her fate. And to except it. Saying goodbye to her son. The writing was brilliant. It didn't give away anything despite the hints. And just to split your emotions wide open to the world they top it off with Andrea bocelli " time to say goodbye" that song should have made it obvious what was happening but it didnt
Have met them twice, they're so sweet and Mark also. Not got to chat properly but spoke briefly and got pics (last week at the LOG live) I love them with all my heart!
I first jumped into this on series 4 and went back to the beginning and 'Sardines'. What great stories, writing & humour. Thanks Steve & Reece, a highly enjoyable program.
Series 3 is coming soon everyone! Yes, i hope they keep em coming forever. These 2 guys are amazing in everything they do together. Wish they'd get Mark Gatiss for an episode, that would make my life complete.
Whenever some TV shows has a rundown of the greatest TV duo's/comedy double acts....it's always the same tired list...Morecambe & Wise (who had a team of writer with them like Barry Cryer and Eddie Braben), Two Ronnies, etc. And while those guys were legends in their day, Steve Pemberton & Reece Shearsmith should be rightly regarded right up there with the best.
Season 5 already - Five Years. HERESY, I know, but I would love to see something entirely new from the guys. I'm a fan since the BB4 Radio show' TLOG on the Town'. At this stage I'm ready to feel the way I did when Psychoville ended and S01E01 of' 'Inside no.9' began.....wow!...and even a bigger WOW! when S01E06 aired (Great Episode). Guys.... I (We...if there's any like minded fans out there also?) know that each episode of No.9 is different....but they're all different collectively. I'm not asking for a return to Psychoville or The League.....their time is done. But perhaps no matter how good .No.9 is.... isn't it time for something new and completely different? After all, both the The League and Psychoville went out on a high. Much Love, Keth
Ethan Waters [Spoilers- only read if you have seen episode] Hope this helps - throughout 'Tom and Gerri' we are lead to believe that Migg is a figment of Tom's imagination and that Tom's interactions with him happen only in Tom's head. However at the end we discover that Gerri died before the events portrayed and it is fact her interactions with Tom that are imagined. Tom's grip on reality has been weakened by his unresolved grief for Gerri. Migg had been using Tom's fragiie mental state to exploit him. Tom finally confronts Migg thinking he is just a figment of his imagination and in doing so kills him (this is why Migg's body in the bath).Tom has lost all grip on reality as he does not realise he has killed another person and continues to believe Gerri is still alive. This is why Tom's friend Stevie is so horrified at end.

Better than black mirror no doubt
Yep, black mirror is a pale reflection of this...

Don't say that to Reece's face, it's his pet offence!
Black mirror doesn't come close

Possibly the greatest thing they've made- so far. It's just utterly remarkable.
The modern Galton & Simpson. Inside No 9 is phenomenal writing and acting. A series that I'm sure will stand the test of time.

Almost done with seasons 1-5 and recently heard they were renewed for seasons 6 and 7! So excited to see what they have next in store for us!
I love how they both compliment eachother

Very very clever scripts superbly acted.

Fabulous show. Only just found them.
You'd think the premise would get old, but I'm in the middle of season 5 and I still enjoy them just as much. Excellent series.

Thank fuck you don't work for the BBC, nine series of Inside no 9 still wouldn't be enough. Still hasn't peaked!
