I just miss the time around when books and potions were new alongside events. The prizes were so good, may it be clan games or events. Now all you get from events is a resource potion and half of the clan games is just hero books at the end lmao. Miss the days when books weren't hard to come by and gems were given out during events.
I think its just fine. We all just got used to big updates and our expectations are too high for events. When i take a step back and look at the game... yeah its still great and i appreciate every aspects of the game.
If you have played this game you'd know this year's event is way better than the previous years. The 10th anniversary (2021) is an exception, you cannot compare other events with that.

bruh we legit got nothing this month this is just another generic epic equipment month, with the least medals ever (3750). no special trader offers (yet) either. i hope they don't decide to take away the 75k clan games

I remembered playing the 2017 clash of clans 5 year anniversary with the special obstacles and all but I lost that account and when I remembered one account I had I only had some obstacles from 2020

Chash anniversary for the anniversary cake and the exciting free portions we get from the trader. This year there was absolutely nothing special. Free to play players doesn't even get a descent decoration if we opt to buy the Magic mirror equipment. Free trader portions are also gone. These game is getting getting more and more monetized. Ftp players are totally ignored. Bases on how it is i guess during the Christmas update we'll be getting no free portions or books but just a Christmas tree ss decoration. In a couple of years theyy probably make spawning decoration also cost money.

The only thing this event has brought us(or will bring as of writing this) is the chance for a book of everything.....yeah this event sucks. Yeah the book of everything is a great magic item(probably the best) but that's only if your clan is active
maybe in the future, or later this year? there hasnt been that many to make a full length video in my opnion. its also a fairly new feature, but great idea!
