As well as if you catch them while there moving to the new place you moved there pad, you can click on them and they play there sounds as they would if you clicked on them when there not upgrading. Pretty neat, I just figure that out lol.

It is for better. Because you are locked for 3 days (a week, previously) with same super troop. What if you want different super troop in war during that situation? And, canceling them also creates some other problems. Like, your super potion is wasted, or your dark elixir. You may get refunds, but again can be super hard to fix abuses.
I found a glitch about the battle machine: if you use the ability for battle machine when the attack ends, then the animation will repeat infinitely (note: if it doesn't happen on the first try, do it a couple more times)

if you move a building the builder is working on; once it starts its jump animation, you can move the building back and he will teleport there
And if you tap him, the sound he makes depents on how far you are from the builder.
