@@Dusty42096 Hey, at least that horrible interior trend is going away. I'll take polishing a few decorative exterior panels over small intricate interior pieces any day.
It’s ok for a cheaper trim, but I would only want the top trim. The interior of this model is lacking too many things that I got used to in my 23 Forte GT. Once I had ventilated seats, I can’t go back. I would really love to have a K4 wagon with 225hp or so, so I hope they make an even sportier trim line.
@@ZapFlashD yes. I mean the hatch. It looks more like a wagon to me, which is great. I don’t like typical hatchbacks. If it’s gonna have a hatch it needs to have a proper boxy shaped cargo area like a wagon or crossover, and it looks like the K4 was done properly.
@@ZapFlashD I've compared the pictures between the "hatch" and sedan, and it appears to have nearly the same wheelbase. If that is true, then I'd definitely consider it to be more wagony, but that's a dirty word here in America, so of course they'd call it a hatchback and give it less of a long trunk, to appear more hatchback-like. If it is the same wheelbase length and the interior dimensions are the same as the sedan, then it will be a game changer. The only hatchback with comfortable rear seats are the Civic, which is only a hair bit shorter than the sedan, but even then, it's more of a liftback than hatchback. The Mazda3 and Corolla are just so cramped in the back. With the Civic and K4 having more competitive interior room, hopefully it will encourage the others to step it up with their hatchbacks.

The whole area isn't cohesive in my opinion and will turn off more people than entice them into buying 2) Yes, the steering wheel...and not just the off-center logo. It's oddly shaped and seemed very cheap. Too bad, because K5's steering wheel is very nice. It doesn't have to be leather wrapped to have a solid feel, but this one is a strike out in my book 3) The seats also seemed and looked cheap. A lot of gray, which Hyundai used to be known for...again k5 seats in (black color) and feel are completely fine...so fewer initial dislikes, however they are very obvious and hard to ignore.
So the cvt gearbox which makes this a gas drinking screamer is okay? If an manual gearbox would have been an option in base line trim it would really ,ast forever as a car 😂😊

Great review and glad to see those specs, especially that sound reading. One spec I wish you'd add to your typical review is measuring the widest points within the trunks. Main goal being to know if the space is wide enough to hold my golf clubs without putting them in at an angle or putting down a backseat. That has been a big hindrance in finding a smaller vehicle. Things like Kona and Seltos didn't have that extra width behind the wheels that would allow for golf clubs to fit.

Powertrain is completely fine...I drove it...a lot of times reviewers just spew out stats and liters, and forget to notice big improvements in usable power, and how weak/strong vehicle feels in a regular driving while maintaining similar hp figures compared to previous gen ( Rogue is another example)
I actually hate that so many manufacturers are getting the same 12" screens from the same Chinese manufacturer for their instrument/infotainment clusters. You see the same instrument cluster in the $25k Kia as you do in a $70k BMW M340i. It's good for Kia, but cheapens the BMW.

Love it
Is it reliable? Will it break down quickly or is it long lasting like Toyota and Honda?
Hyundai and kia are quite reliable, its rank 3rd just after toyota in JD power
Who is this car for? Is this strictly an entry-level commuter car for first-time buyers/teens? It's a nice looking car, but that powertrain is underwhelming.
I mean it’s a 20k sedan, obviously more expensive for the top end trims, so yeah first car type thing
Yes, it's directly for you! lol
@@hey_guesswhat Haha!
Powertrain is completely fine...I drove it...a lot of times reviewers just spew out stats and liters, and forget to notice big improvements in usable power, and how weak/strong vehicle feels in a regular driving while maintaining similar hp figures compared to previous gen ( Rogue is another example)
@@RRLPlayz The hubcap version is about 23.5
dude idk I bought this car a month ago and it did not meet up to my expectations. So I blew it up and left it on the side of the road.
2025 Kia K4 Best car in the segment
Hmm dont like all the plastic outside the car. Going with the Jetta 2025 redesign.
a perfect sedan,but no hybrid version(from a Kia fan)😂
I actually hate that so many manufacturers are getting the same 12" screens from the same Chinese manufacturer for their instrument/infotainment clusters. You see the same instrument cluster in the $25k Kia as you do in a $70k BMW M340i. It's good for Kia, but cheapens the BMW.
