Our son just got diagnosed with ADHD and it was a surprising diagnosis to us, until we watched this video and you describe everything about his behaviour in detail. Thank you so much, this was very helpful.

I rarely ever comment but I’m fighting tears of Joy! My son has the best intentions and so full of love and kindness but he’s literally felt soooo defeated lately but I believe this video is gonna helps us all as a family understand and help him better!!
Idk if y’all believe in the Holy Spirit but I can’t leave this comment without saying I KNOW that’s what brought me to this video! Thank you to God and to this creator!

We've started to notice a lot of these cues in our 5 year old. We actually spoke to his Dr yesterday about his anxiety associated with school and this came up. Its time to do some deep diving but so far what you have said kind of hits on the naiil on the head. I'm happy to say that a lot of the things you recommended are things that my wife and I have already begun. Heres to the journey!

In the U.K. it’s not easy getting a formal diagnosis which is what is required to get meds.

My son and I have ADHD. I was diagnosed as an adult and am learning how to be a good parent to my son while navigating my own diagnosis.
Do you have a series of videos that can help parents like me maintain consistency and not fall into permissive pit falls?

For me I was diagnosed early on in the 90s when I could not keep up with my peers in reading in 1st and 2nd grade. My parents got me a tutor and later getting evaluated again as a young adult I found out I am an Auditory learner and not a visual learner. So all those sessions with the tutor of seeing words and sounding them out helped a lot. I can remember just about anything i hear Not everything I have seen. Makes math a bitch too though. But Since I had the tutor I can and all through highschool had a reading level far beyond most of my peers to the points I was asked to read out loud and then they had to stop me because I was reading too fast for everyone to be able to listen and follow along. Bonus they id not ask me to read aloud again.

I agree Embrace the hyperfocus for example of your kid is interested in cooking try to teach him to read by reading a recipe you've got this 💋
