On the advice of a local guide, I just purchased two of these from Sweeney's Sports and will get to try them for the first time early next week. Looking forward to another great day on the water.
I love these ,I use them for kokanee and salmon fishing. I have bought these for my buddies who fish in alaska and numerous friends who fish salmon ,best release on the market.
Awesome products. I just bought 3 regular and 3 stackers. I fish mostly for stocker sized trout in Pennsylvania. Pinch pads had me dragging smaller fish around without ever releasing.
I stopped using that release and all mechanical releases that can also damage line. I use the Rubberband releases. Works evertime. No false release to guess about. I'm 76 and tested a lot of releases.
Why doesn't this work with the wire on the Cannon downriggers? Is there a way to bore it out a bit to work better on the Cannon's? Specifically, the stacker releases won't slide on the cannon downriggers.
Thanks guys!
