someone has the exact same laptop that isn't working that has a perfect screen, she didn't think about using it. but what do we do to switch the entire top portion of the laptop? ( instead of taking the LCD screen apart) I had a Dell Inspiron 1720 all I had to do was remove the cover above the F keys and remove 4 screws, and unplug the screen, the entire screen came off separating it from the bottom portion of the laptop. so my question again is how do I separate the top portion of the laptop from the base part/ keyboard part. do you have a tutorial for this?
