A friend of mine bought a pair of these for a Formula Ford Super Italia Osella single-seater racecar and found them excellent value for money at £162.00 each, here in England. Formula Ford Super Italia ran a 2.0litre Pinto engine with twin down-draught Weber 40IDFs or their Solex equivalent, a limited modified cyl., and a specified camshaft. Aside from the normal fettling a carb. needs for race set-up, he didn't find too many horrors inside these Chinese clones.
About two sets of 48 idas $190 each China carburetors they work fine power my 220 plus horsepower Volkswagen 2332 and a 2496 both set of carburetors are totally interchangeable with Weber Jets they run awesome I have no issues with them at all I will never buy another Weber carburetor again I will buy two more sets of these Chinese 48s and I will run them instead total cost $400 for a pair total cost for Weber 48 more than a grand not going to happen
I would try using a small blow torch just to break them loose. If it doesn't work your just going to have to run them like that. Hopefully there close enough. Good luck 🤞
I also bought a Weber from China (38/38 DGES). It had two fuel leaks (in incoming nossle threads and under the power valve) Most jets were unmarked. So I would agree to your conclusions in the video.
It would be really cool if they offered these carbs like a DIY guitar kit; Comes with everything you need, but YOU have to assemble it.........The price would be way lower than it already is. I ordered a 44 for 68.00.......I spent more on gasoline yesterday.
I have been going back and forth in my head = do I want one of those or a Progressive for a centermount? I have 1600 Engle 100 and D-Port heads . J tube and quiet pack ? Now I have a 34 and that would be the next step. I have a 71 baywindow and live in Corpus Christi and what would really be nice is a Freeway Flyer trans. Back to the engine its like trying to breath in fast with a finger in one nostril ?????

I was looking all week for an answer if weber jets worked. Just built a draw thru turbo with a doce 45. Bogs around 3500rpm. Might need bigger jets
trying to do the throttle calibration, but those screws are too tight. Can't open them withou ruining the screw head...

Did you use a vacuum gauge to equalise/sync/balance the two carbs?
Otherwise they are fighting each other.
Mines bogging out just like you said give it gas to fast and Boggs so I will drill the jets thanks great advise

You need bigger cam and intake valves with port work . See now if you hop up engine you will not get case clap.
