10-11mm is the height with gasket in place and ball 'not' depressed on the needle when adjusting. Fuel pressure should be 3-3.5psi max. The float drop 28-32mm
Great video!! Not only good info but also enjoy your presentation style!! Feels like wrenching around in the garage with a buddy, rather than listening to some foul-mouth ape!!
I dont mean to be so offtopic but does someone know a method to log back into an Instagram account? I was stupid forgot my password. I appreciate any help you can give me
@Joziah Bo Thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
The spacer washer under the needle seat or if the distance the hole has to begin with. I have a 34 that I had to take the blue spacer and chunk it to get the carb. to work .= measure where the seat stands off the housing.
Yeah... I thought of that. Everything is there. The only thing that I could assume that is wrong is the actual needle itself. The floating bearing actually goes deeper into the needle valve causing the the float to drop even lower than it should. so I just did it the old school way. I think that'll work ok. But it doesn't sit well with me. I might mess with that later on if I do go into the 32 Venturi and open them up to 34 millimeters.
great video what is the / your recomended fuel level in the bowl so all the float irregularities dont matter if you get them doing that correct and the same thing in the bowl also do you have a stock cam ect in motor im runnin a type 4 1.8 in a street rail with old spanish 40 idfs and they may be legit but still have issues (i may be some of the issue🤔) ive welded o2 bumgs on both exh banks ive got to get em 1/2 right and throw in a old aem wide bann i had from a motor swaped neon
Do you have any info on altering the idle air bleed hole?? I am fighting an issue where i have to run extremely rich jets to get my 44s on my 2110 to be drivable. 65/210/170! Any suggestions would be appreciated as im out of ideas.

Yes I did. When I was calibrating the Weber way I ended up with really odd jetting sizes to get it to run decent with the AFR not quite wright. Once I adjusted and visually checked the fuel level at my bench it was so easy to jet correctly and AFR was perfect.
If your running 118 mains with 44's you must have a small heads / motor or no compression. Your electric should be in the front, they are made to push not pull. Your blowing through that filter in the wrong direction.

You are getting close to perfect!
Yeah... but it's a very slow progress. But I'm having fun!🙃
Great info I wonder is I should do this to my 44 hpmx centermount.
👍 Rub some cheap chapstick on your carburetors gaskets. Stops them from sticking to carburetors.

Where did you get that air/fuel gauge? And what is it connected to?
Thanks

Great video, what size motor you have and what is you altitude ?. I’m greeting ready to install 44s on my big .
This is a 2.0 liter formerly a Porsche engine and I'm at sea level.
Motor7710 thanks
I took my jackie chan idf off last weekend and put a solex 34 pict 3 back on. Runs so smooth lol
I don't blame you at all. I probably would have done the same thing.
Your car does not have to emission test.
So why vent your crankcase gasses into the carbs?
Should have just bent the back float up a little! That happens a lot in shipping
Great video! Everywhere I see float settings at 10 or 12 or 14. Why did u choose 14mm vs what most people are doing is 10mm?
11mm on webbers. These are clones
Couldn't you have just bent the float straight?
What did you get A/F gauge?
It's a narrow band from Amazon called dragon it's like $16.
Motor7710 thanks
do you notice a difference in afr between driving and revving in the driveway?
Yes I did.

What display do you have on your dashboard? It looks nice between the dash cover. Nice engine btw
So fajs sherryberg isn't recommended?
your doing the wrong adj that tab is for the full open posion when you measure float hight you bend the arm

We need to get connected

use a wide band... there is no substitute
Hallo you sayed later 200 correction and wrote 185 C and 125 main. Am i right 200 is leaner in complete range at mine. Right ?
A larger air corrector will aid in bringing the main circuit in sooner. And smaller will delay pulling the mina circuit in. Start with 200.
